Greenlite Movers

Well you know all those horror stories you've heard about movers. I heard them too. This is definitely NOT one of those movers. I contacted them for a last minute job, they were there the next day as promised. No lie, next day. I personally spoke to the owner Steve about my needs and he did his best to help me out. He sent a three man crew out the next day, and surprise, surprise, they were on time. Not only were they there when promised, they came ready to work. They cleared out a 2500 sq ft home and put everything into storage for me. It took two 20x10 storage units to hold everything, so I am talking about a lot of stuff. The crew worked above and beyond my hopes, and got everything done in about 8 hrs. They wrapped the items, treated everything as if it was their own, and treated me with respect. After some of the ways I've seen my home. my possessions, and myself treated by people who have done work for me, this was a refreshing change. For my next move do I really have to tell you who I am calling? I would recommend this company to anyone who wants their move to be as painless, as effortless, as stress free as possible. If I could give them a higher grade than an A I certainly would. You would do yourself a favor to hire these PROFESSIONALS to do your next move. They were wonderful!!!

I initially contacted Greenlite Movers on Angies List to find out what information they needed in advance of the move. Following their suggestions, I recorded a video tour of my house and included measurements for all my furniture and appliances. I then sent them the video and asked to schedule a move with only a week and a half of notice. Fearing they would need more time, they instead surprised me by citing they could move my belongings within only a few days of that contract! They arrived on time. Before moving anything they laid out mats over my carpet, padded all nearby door frames and corners with special blankets and made plans to disassemble the larger pieces of furniture. They made great efforts to ensure nothing was damaged during the move; and those efforts paid off because nothing suffered even a scratch as a result of the move! I didn't think they could fit everything in the van either; but they did with plenty of space to spare. They even showed me pre-existing scratches on my furniture and warned me about unstable pieces (e.g. "the leg of this dresser is loose"). I even tried to help them myself as I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to stand around...but more often than not they were three steps ahead of me and I thought it best to just stay out of the way. All in all everything was packed, driven and unpacked in a reasonable amount of time. They even managed to set up the furniture in the master bedroom when I didn't think there was enough space for all four pieces. It was a really good feeling to be able to go to sleep that night with everything safely stored in the house. I can't think of anything they could improve on. To anyone else moving I recommend buying boxes from Lowes or Home Depot as I did. They're cheap, easy to label, have flaps you can pop up to create handles, and are easy to recycle or give to friends.

They did an excellent job. Packaged everything and moved it for her. It went so smooth. My wife and my daughter were actually able to sit down and watch the movers and not worry about anything.

The company was on time and did whole move in 3 hours. No item was damaged. The front door went through part of the drywall accidentally, but Steven worked with us to have his crew return and patch the hole and smooth it over on 2 trips at no added cost. We appreciated his efforts to perform the extra and would highly recommend them to others.

Courteous, cautious with our belongings

These guys are great!! They were extremely fast, friendly and easy to work with. I have moved a lot and these guys are fast. They have their system down. I will definitely use them again.

If I could give this company an A+++ I would. they came prepared and ontime(unlike St Pete movers) PROFESSIONAL to the core and worked really hard. I am a person of few words but really this company was the best. Steven followed up with me and really took good care of me.

This moving company is absolutely fantastic. The owner was always responsive to my questions and needs. He was accommodating to the date I needed. Greenlite provides a three-man team where all the other companies I called only provide two men. I got prices from three companies. Greenlite's was the lowest by far. The three man team worked well together. They were on time, courteous, thoughtful, good natured, and very caring of my things. They took great care in wrapping and protecting my furniture. They were precise in the way they packed the truck so that nothing was jostled or unsecured. They worked quickly and efficiently. All the positive things I read in the Angie's List reviews came true. I was absolutely amazed and dazzled by the service. I have nothing negative to say. If I ever move again, I will definitely use Greenlite Movers.

It went very well and was extremely pleased with all 3 of the men; they laid down covering to protect the floors; as well as wrapped the door frames, and even when we got to the Concrete enclosed stairwell they protected the star rails. I can't tell you what a pleasure it was working with all 3 of the men. They were all professional, fast, and helpful. I would highly recommend them as well as use them again. The total cost includes the 40.00 travel fee which was disclosed prior to purchasing the Ange's List special. My suggestion is to always contact company prior and continue to communicate with them throughout the process. Greenlite movers was very responsive and helpful through the process. Thank you all.

The fellows weren't super quick but they more than made up for this aspect by being extremely conscientious about getting the job done right. They also weren't able to fit in to the van all of those items we'd targeted moving with Greenlite but having seen the masterful way Eric fit the many pieces we had in safely and without damage (like a huge jigsaw puzzle, what with furniture wraps and strapping and all) we've no complaints about taking over the last 5 or so truckloads ourselves. Again, to their credit, they offered to come back for the rest, a ludicrous idea when we had cheaper means available, but a caution to others to carefully consider the amount of 'stuff' you have and want moved! All three were professional throughout, polite, and where they TRULY shown was in putting each piece in to our new home. They lifted pieces carefully (so as not to damage walls) for rubber bumpers to be put under heavy furniture legs and helped my (anal) husband get an unwieldy metal architect cabinet 'just right' in a tight space in his new 'man cave'. The communication between all three was what impressed us both (having done way more of this moving stuff than we've wanted to as a couple makes me appreciate how a few precise words can make unwieldy pieces through narrow openings SEEM easy; it is NOT!). Getting the right room and sensibly placing things (& a couple of times, RE-placing things) was less stressful than many a prior move has been for us, thanks again to their teamwork. There may be less expensive moving companies but having been through six international moves, Greenlite competes as favorably with the very best of these (and although all but one of these were paid for by corporations, all with the exception of the one were MORE expensive). Wanting to keep this intra-city move at a reasonable cost overall, we didn't have Greenlite box up our 'soft goods' but I've absolutely no doubt that if customers wanted this included Tim, Jay & Eric would do a great job with fragile crystal, lamps, dishes and such. To sum it up, hiring Greenlite made a day that I was dreading, while never a PLEASANT experience, as painless and as pleasant as it possibly could have been (& another kudo for Angie's List for putting us in touch with them). Jay, Eric, & Tim: you EARNED the $50 tip over and above the cost of this move; thank you again!

What can I say but Greenlite Movers are incredible. Due to closing dates changing I had to call last minute and change my moving date, multiple times. They really did not have any openings but accommodated me anyway. They called the day before and again on the way to my house to keep me informed of there arrival. They very promptly loaded up the truck with my belongings and when they arrived at my new condo, the lobby was under construction, and unable to move in my stuff. They offered to keep my stuff on the truck overnight, assuring me my stuff was safe and insured. They arrived promptly the next morning as planned. These guys knew their stuff. They were careful to lay down traffic mats on the white carpeting in my home. They worked fast and quickly evaluated the best approach to enter a room without scarring walls and door jambs or damaging any of the furniture. I was impressed with the crew's professionalism & dedication to completing the move in a timely manner despite all the unexpected obstacles. I purchased an Angie's list coupon for 3 men, 3 hours, and a truck for $275 + $40 travel. This is exactly what I was charged even with keeping my stuff overnight and going from a 12th floor condo to an 8th floor condo. Thank you guys so much. I highly recommend Greenlite Movers for all your moving needs.

The owner was able to schedule my move with short notice which I very much appreciated. The movers called to let me know that they would be arriving a little early which worked out well. One of the three movers that came became very ill which slowed things down quite a bit. After a phone call, the owner came out to the house and helped his employees until another guy could arrive to replace the sick one. I was impressed with the crew's professionalism & dedication to completing the move in a timely manner despite some unexpected obstacles. I would use this company again.

It went well. They carefully handeled and padded all items. Did not damage anything. Worked quickly and professionally.

Everything went fine but we were charged extra, which we were not surprised because of living on the third floor apartment. They did a good job and all went well.

I would highly recommend these folks to help with your move. I had paid for 3 men and a truck for three hours. My move was a "Fit In" to their already busy schedule, as I had to reschedule the date of my move. These guys knew their stuff. They were careful to lay down traffic mats on the newly cleaned carpeting of our home. They worked fast and quickly evaluated the best approach to enter a room without scarring walls and door jambs or damaging any of the furniture. They were constantly moving. Even on a very hot and humid day they worked without stopping. I offered them drinks but they had their own water. The hand hand trucks, furniture dollies, a massive amount of blankets to protect my belongings. They were respectful and fast. it was the first time I have ever just stood and told movers where I wanted things placed. By the time they left the house looked like I had lived there for years. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to help you move. They are professional, friendly, polite, and respectful of your things. I know I said it before ..... BUT THEY WERE FAST!!!!!
