Greenlite Movers

First, I would like to say that they were very nice. However, I don't think it was worth paying for 3 people. I think the same amount of work would have been gotten done by 2 people in the same amount of time. They seemed to walk around together a lot. The gentleman in charge seemed guilty of this the most. Second, unfortunately I was scheduled in the afternoon slot; they had already moved someone else's house. When its hot and humid it can be very draining. I would only book first slot from here on out. Although they were very nice, I think they were a bit exhausted with the heat and all. My husband came home, and especially with the unloading, he worked with them, keeping them moving. ,My washer and dryer, which are not even a year old, got dented. It's on the front and where the controls are so it really stands out and I have to see it every time I do laundry. I don't think that was necessary. Also, I had brand new floors put in, bamboo, and a piece of the molding/t-bar was damaged. There is no other way it could have happened except from having something heavy hit it as it is cracked in the middle. Lastly, I was a little confused in the beginning. They came with a UHaul truck. I thought this was odd as I spoke with the owner more than once before hiring this company and I was under the impression that this was an independent company, a "greenwise" company with special products. It was Haul with Haul products

Greenlite called and arrived on time. 3 great guys assessed the situation, made their plan, and moved us out and into the new house within 4 hours. I did the 3 hour Angie's list deal, and paid the standard price for the last hour. Couldn't have asked for a better team of guys...moving is always stressful, and this company made it as good as it gets.

Very smooth move. Steven was very helpful in outlining the terms of the deal (we purchased coupon on Angies List) and stayed in touch few days prior to the moving date. The crew showed up on time and got to work right away. They went above and beyond trying to fit all our belongings into a single trip. It stormed/poured during last half hour of the loading but they never stopped working. Unload was fast and efficient. Overall, we were very pleased with everything and would highly recommend them for your move.

This is the second time I have used this company. They were great both times. I would highly recommend them!

At first the owner, Steven Keblin, was very professional and answered phone calls by the second ring. On the day of the move, his lead man asked me to sign a contract before they would start work and told me that while the contract only covered 60 cents per pound, that if any damage would be caused by his movers, the owner would cover it 100%. He said they wanted to make sure their Angie's List customers were happy. I lived on the 3rd floor and moved to the 1st floor in a nearby city. During the last several hours of the move, the movers appeared to be exhausted from the stairs and started moving things sloppily. Also, I heard the lead man tell them to hurry, as they had another job after moving me (for 6 and 3/4 hours). I pointed out to them that the bedroom furniture was an expensive cherry wood set, and that cherry wood is soft. I also let them know that the wicker set was real and expensive furniture. The end result of the move left my expensive cherry dresser with only 3 legs. I asked the lead man to have it professionally repaired. instead the lead man, without asking me and before he brought it into the new location, pounded the leg back onto the dresser. When he informed me of this, he mentioned that he had added some furniture filler. The nails had been bent, and the leg did not go back exactly as it had been. Likely, the leg is not as strong as it had been before they tore it off since the nails had been pulled out. It should have been put back by a professional with wood glue and screws to hold it. They also scraped one side of the dresser, and there is a 3 inch piece of wood I found in one of the drawers that was broken off the front panel of that drawer, in plain sight. Another drawer on the same dresser has wood splintered across the bottom. I am guessing they may have further damaged the dresser while they "fixed" the leg. Also, my authentic wicker sofa was scrapped and lost paint on the top and side of it. Finally, I have discovered that an expensive lamp table has new scratches on the side. The table was pushed into the sofa where the scratches are now, so I only discovered it when I moved the furniture apart slightly. I called the owner and left him a voice mail that there had been some damage to the furniture and I asked him if he would like to come by to exam the damaged furniture. He sent me an e-mail 7-28-15 and asked if I had left him a voice mail. I responded 7-28-15 that yes, I had left a voice mail and mentioned some of the damage to the furniture in the e-mail. Steven called me 7-30-15 from an unknown number stating that "I deal with people like you all the time" and he called me a liar without even asking me about the furniture. I could barely get a word in. He said "you are not going to get a dime out of me". His final words were "see you on Angie's List" and then he hung up the phone. I received an e-mail from Steven later on 7-30-15 where he stated "You have no credibility here. Please follow the claims process on your bill of lading." I checked the bill of lading back, and it says the mover will be responsible for no more than 60 cents per pound per item damaged. I am submitting this complaint to Angie's List, as I had no idea that companies of this sort were included on your site. I am asking Angie's List to help in getting Greenlite Movers owner, Steven Keblin, to repay me for the damage his men did to my expensive furniture. My recent experience with movers, the ones who moved the furniture from another state, was so different from Greenlite Movers. They were careful and always professional and polite. The owner even called me a few days later to ask if everything was fine from the move and gave me 6 months to report to her any damage or concerns. What a contrast! I will e-mail you pictures of the damage to the furniture. Thank you.

I was very happy with the movers. They were all very nice and friendly. I thought the job was going to take longer than the 3 hours I had paid for with their Angie's List deal but it ended up taking even less time. I even got 4 movers instead of 3! I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

The movers worked diligently, pleasantly, with great care and effort. We had zero breakages and only a minor cleanup. They were very careful with our hardwood floors, walls, and furnishings. Due to weather, they ran late but sent a team leader ahead who moved smaller things until the team arrived; our "clock" didn't start until the whole team was there, giving us an apology and bonus value.

I have used Greenlite movers previously on another Angie's List Deal and was so impressed that when it was time to move again, there was no doubt who I was going to use. Fortunately there was another coupon. Greenlite contacted me immediately and the appointment was all set up within a day. WOW!! Moving day arrived and there was a steady rain all morning. Greenlite was prompt and very efficient. Elliott and his crew had the storage room cleared out in not time and moved on to the house where the rest of my belongings were. When we got to the new place, the Greenlit crew took special precautions to keep everything as dry as possible and laid tarps all the way in and through the new place. I can not say enough good things about this company. As good as my experience was before, this was even better. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Nice job guys!!

We bought the super-saver from Angie's List but we had to cancel the move. Angies List refused to give us our money back but the folks at Greenlite were very helpful and professional. While they were unable to refund the fee that Angies List collected (around 20% I think) they refunded their entire portion of what I had paid. So, be careful about ordering the Angies List Super Savers - Angies List will not give refunds. But next time I move I will work with Greenlite.

There are countless horror stories online and to say I was apprehensive about selecting movers would be an understatement. Your crew arrived on time, all shook my hand and greeted me professionally, then after receiving a couple brief instructions from me proceeded to move my things. I could not have been more impressed. It ended up really well. It was more than the big deal because they ended up bringing three men and it took them longer than they expected. It took about 4 and a half hours. I would tell a friend that they were prompt and courteous and they did what they were suppose to do.

Contacted Steve to schedule help for my sister-in-law who moved down from Canada. She drove herself down in a moving truck but needed help getting her things put into storage. Steve was able to get her scheduled in a day early. He is great to deal with and very responsive. The guys who helped her did an awesome job getting all of her things into one storage unit. They were very nice and did an excellent job. Will definitely be using Greenlite Movers for any future moves!

Greenlite movers actually did this in two moves to accommodate our schedule. Packed up half the things two days before our house closing, and stored that until the day after our closing before delivering it to the new house. The other half was picked up two days later, and then delivered on the same day. The second move began around 2:30PM, and the movers kept working until 9:30PM that night to complete the job. (We fed them pizzas to keep them on their feet that late.) A very dedicated team. They protected floors and door frames where needed, disassembled critical parts of furniture (e.g., piano music stand), and wrapped furniture in pads and plastic. They moved over a hundred boxes, and a dozen large wardrobe boxes without breaking anything. The new house has a spiral staircase which complicated getting the large items such as beds upstairs, but they went upstairs with no problems. I highly recommend these movers, and I will use them again when our old house is sold to move the remaining furniture that we left there for staging.

They were very professional and courteous before, during and end. I didn't think that I had that much stuff to move, but it was not all in one room to really see everything that was being moved. I had purchased a 3 hour package with 3 men and a 26 ft truck. Prior to move date I was told that anything over the 3 hours would be billed per hour. But like I said, I didn't think that I had that much stuff so I didn't think it would take more than 3 hours to move. And the travel time between houses is like 10 minutes. Stayed in the same zip code area. I think a red flag for me should have been when the company did not want or need to come over prior to my move give me a better idea of how much time would be needed. The team arrived on time and came through the house to get a quick assessment of what was being moved. Then they started moving things outside to be loaded into the truck. Two men did the moving and one man stayed in the truck to pack everything like a puzzle. They worked steady and were very careful with my belongings. But as the morning ticked on I could see that the 3 hours I had paid for was fading fast. Needless to say, it took them almost three hours just to load the truck. We then left to go to the other house to unload. Unfortunately, it took them 3 hours to unload the truck. Now grant it they did a good job, but when I paid $275 for the package and they started telling me about the hourly rate thereafter I should have done some calling around to see what other moving companies would charge. It took 6 hours and cost me over $725. This came as a big shock because I was on a very tight budget. Would I use them again, I think that I would have to talk to several other moving companies first. I guess its my fault, I shouldn't have relied solely on the fact that they were on Angie"s List and that it would only take 3 hours to move. Not happy that I am out an additional $400 plus dollars.

The crew arrived promptly. They were very courteous, professional and patient. We moved to a third floor apartment. The furniture we have came from overseas and is very bulky and heavy. The "feels like" temperature was over 100 degrees. They did all this with no complaints. They never used the weather as an excuse to slow down. They hustled the whole time so we did not go over the time we hired them for. I would definitely use them again and would hope future patrons will read this comment and decide to use this company. I would like to thank them for all they did to make this move a little better.

Actual moving day they were almost 2+ hours late upon arrival, (they did call twice to update me throughout the day). Only 2 men showed up for the move - they were joined later by a 3rd man. They were not even done unloading the truck by the time our 3 hours were over. I was told ahead of time there would be additional fees for each hour but NEVER thought it would take them approximately 3 more hours. By the time they left, none of my electronics were hooked up (NONE) but they were kind enough to show me the 3 boxes that contained not only my electronics - but also ALL of the cords lumped together for all of them. My bedframe was put back together in the upstairs bedroom, but the storage door at the foot of the bed was attached wrong (the mover was kind enough to tell me he had to drill new holes which upon viewing this later, was absolutely NOT necessary) and now is extremely difficult to open and close. I had to pay a HUGE additional for the extra time involved in the move and even more for approximately 10 very used and WELL-WORN boxes - most of which went unused. I was left with 3 television of which only one was hooked up (plugged in) and piles of boxes to decipher and attempt to figure out where I myself needed to move them to. I truly feel that even though I gave the owner a list of exactly what was to be moved, that they MUST have known as professional movers, that it was going to take MUCH longer and to be charged such a high additional fee was outrageous and unwarranted.

2 out of 3 appliances were not able to be hooked up, (my fault) as I didn't see the differences in the outlet. Even though I *assumed* this would also include hooking up the appliances, not even a partial refund was offered.

Movers called morning of to let me know they were on the way. Arrived right on time and began work immediately. I had WAAY more stuff than I thought I had, but the movers were professional and courteous. I have 2 children, 3 and 9, and they worked around them wonderfully (even though my children seemed intent on getting in the way!). They worked quickly and made sure all my big items like my 60 inch TV was well taken care of. They loaded my storage unit like a tetris puzzle, everything in a place to ensure the most space and that items that needed to be protected, were. I bought an Angie's Deal and due to the amount of things I had, I went over my time, but I didn't mind paying the regular per-hour rate at all! They did great work and I was pleased to pay it AND tip them at the end. I will be coming back in three months, and I will DEFINITELY be using them for when I need to move my stuff from storage to our new place! Thanks guys!

Elliot an Bill called when headed to our Tampa residence and arrived on time and ready to work. They asked for direction and inquired about any special concerns, toured the areas with furniture and boxes to be moved then went to work. They were friendly, efficient and careful. It was a blazing hot day but that did not slow them down. They loaded and organized the truck with care and ade it to our other location in Gulfport and ubpacked wiith 3 minutes to spare (on our 3-hour special)! We had read great reviews previously: Greenlite Movers lived up to them!

They moved our stuff from one location to the next. I tried to use them again for this move but they were already booked.
