Quality of construction is excellent. A lot of minor finish details still need to be addressed, but his reputation for following through on such items is excellent. His superintendent was very easy to work with. Both he and the subs were easily contacted by mobile phone. They were both very hands on with the process. A major problem was a 3-month delay in completion caused by lack of roof tile. Not really his fault because of market forces, but he could have done a better job telling us when to make our selections for various stages of the job. Designer made a couple of big gaffes. The worst was not showing the location of a boundary wall on our site plans; we thought we had more backyard than it turned out. Allowances for may finish items were meager. The design of our home and materials used are unusual for this area (''California Modern'' style, cork flooring), but he and his subs generally guided us to good quality, reliable workers. We're very pleased with the finished product.
