The entire process went well and was very smooth. Mark came out to our home to measure the pool (36 feet) and show us the choice of materials he could use to include color and density of screen and gates as well as to educate us about the product. He brought a book of photos which showed a variety of choices (colors, visibility of different types of screen, and gates) which we used as a reference to ask questions. We contacted 2 other Angie's List providers of this service each of whom gave us a price per foot cost over the phone. Mark was glad to come out to give us a bid which ended up being the most reasonable compared to the other info the other providers gave us over the phone. More service for less $$$-win/win! Mark installed the fence according to our schedule 6 days after giving us an estimate. He confirmed the process of drilling into the pavers the morning of the installation and showed us how the fencing would look before he installed it to be sure we approved. Mark was prompt in his arrival and completed the job in the 2 hours that he quoted would be necessary to finish the job. We are very pleased and will be relaxed and confident in the safety of our pool for all non swimmers, but most especially children. The pool is large and uniquely shaped, with 2 sets of 2 stairs on 2 different sides of the pool. It presents some challenges to creating a fence system that would be impenetrable to a strong, aggressive, little boy. My family decided against the net method as one brother had been unhappy with his. They wanted a fence. Unlike other fence companies, Mark wasn't concerned, as he is the manufacturer as well as the installer. Making the necessary custom pieces to secure the stairs was no problem. That made a huge difference to me (and the price was more reasonable, too!). Mark was very informative in helping us decide exactly where the fence should be installed, taking into account seating areas inside the fence as well as outside the fence. The work was done very quickly (about half a day), and the pool area was left in spotless condition. Mark was even thoughtful enough to realize my grip might not be as strong the rest of the family's, and so he made the tension on the gate a little less so I could open and unlatch it and re-latch it without much difficulty. The quality of the materials is excellent. Mark was courteous, efficient & professional. He explained everything we needed to know about dismantling the fence (but didn't think to ask!) - like what to do if a hurricane is coming and the fence needed to be taken down and stored. We had pavers put in around our pool and our enclosure extended so we needed our fence put back and extended in an odd way. I called several other providers including the company that put in our first fence to no avail. It?s amazing how you have to twist people?s arms to give them your business. Not Mark! I left an Angie?s list message and he called me back within ten minutes. I explained my issues and he said that regardless he could find a solution and was very upfront about the two-week appointment availability. He came the following week just to check it out and to give me my options and a quote and I wasn?t there! We forgot to arrange a specific time and I had to run out. I thought for sure I was going to get the not-so-polite I?m very busy and your waiting my time lets reschedule contractor routine, but he was super understanding about it. He came the following week for install, right on time. He talked with my husband and me for nearly an hour about what we wanted and he came up with a solution that optimized our free space and worked perfectly for what we needed. He manufactures as well as installs so he has WAY more flexibility than most. He had to make some pieces for our solution so he couldn?t install that day, but he was back as promised with all of the materials only two days later (and he was early-set up and ready to go BEFORE the time he gave). It is a beautiful addition the nearly 20k of additions that we had done and he was great to work with. I would hire him again and again, and you should too!

He performed all the work promptly and very neatly. We are quite pleased with the finished pool fence installed. We don't have any human children that live in our house, but we have two labs that charge the door as soon as the back doors open - and we were unable to train them to stay out of the pool. This made it such a pain to enjoy our outdoor living space with them whining inside or trying to dart out with them panting at the door. We are now able to go in and out and will be able to leave the doors open when the weather cools. Thank you Mark - great job!

Mark came to my house to measure the pool area. He gave me several suggestions and an estimate. I also checked the material he provides and pictures of his previous works. After I decided to install a removable fence, Mark came over and had his work done in an hour. He used a diamond tip core-drill to drill 11 one-inch-width holes on my deck. He clean up the dirt after he finished. The materials Mark used were very good quality. I took his advice to install a black color fence. After he positioned all the poles and close the fence door, the mesh stretched out and the fence looked smooth and solid. The structure is strong. It serves the purpose to protect children. The fence is also very easy to remove and store. Mark was on time and very approachable. He answered all my questions and gave me options to choose. I am very satisfied of his work and his product. I will hire him again.

This is the second time we have used Mark to install a pool gate for us. We have 2 small children and another on the way. The Childcare Pool Fence Systems installer was at my home at the scheduled time, installed and altered the pool gate to fit my pool configuration and cleaned the debris left from the construction. Would highly recommend.

I initially contacted Mark to install 5-7 ft of pool fence as only one short edge of our screen enclosed pool needed to be fenced. He was the only one who didn't quote me a flat $350 for anything under 10ft. I sent him a lot of pictures via phone and he was able to give me an approximate quote. When he did arrive to install the fence, we found I had grossly under measured how much fence I needed. Mark was awfully nice enough to drill all the holes required and came back the next day to drop the fence in. He cleaned up after himself and the fence looks great! Whatever extra I owed was proportional to what he initially quoted. The whole process took less than an hour in all. He was perfectly professional, well mannered and very punctual. Now I can let my little one run around the patio with complete peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend his services!

Mark came to the house for a walk through in order to put together an estimate. He was very helpful in showing us where the fence would be installed, how it would be installed, and what it would look like once he was finished. We looked at another company to get a competing bid, but they would not come to the house to give us an estimate. A week later, Mark returned and installed our fence. It took him a few hours, but the only evidenced that he was actually there was the installed fence. We opted for the self-closing gate, which added about $300 to the total price, but felt it was well worth the cost. I would recommend Childcare Pool Fence Systems, Inc. to anyone who asks. They did a terrific job.

I was very impressed with Mark today. I called Monday and he advised he could come early Thursday (7:30 day after a holiday- which first impressed me) Mark was punctual, professional and the price he quoted was the exact price of the job. He installed a fence we previously purchased and did an exceptional job. I wish I would have used him at our old house.
