About a year ago, I bought a new construction house. I didn't realize at the time, but the builder did not wire coax or cat5 into the downstairs office. I really wanted this wiring into that office. However, I knew that because the house was two stories the job would be difficult. I called a few places. Attic Rat was by far the most responsive. They came quickly to do the job. The job turned out to be even more complicated than the technician originally thought, but they didn't charge me any extra! They stayed late into the evening to complete the job in the same day. Overall, I am very happy with the experience. The technician was very knowledgeable. I am confident the cables were run in the most effective manner, requiring the least amount of patchwork possible. I would definitely use Attic Rat again for other wiring jobs.

The installer arrived on time and was very thorough. All of the cabling had been removed during a remodel of my house so he had to start from scratch. He was good about covering all the options and the pitfalls of the various installations. It took a day and 1/2 to finish all of the work required.

They are excellent and their prices are fair. I would highly recommend them.

Jim was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. His work was excellent and extremely neat. He gave me options on the placement of the tv and then explained exactly what he was going to do to accomplish the task. I will definitely be contacting Attic Rat for future projects.

Very well. There was a slight problem and Sean came back and spent another 2 hours to make everything right.

Day of installation, Sean and Jim showed up on time and got right to work. The job was an all day event. I actually had my electrician there on the same day running power to my fan beam on my porch, which was in the same space Sean was working. Sean was extemely professional in working along side the electrician and communicated with him to ensure both jobs were to my satisfaction since the wires that were being run for both jobs encompassed the same small space. The installation went smoothly with no issues. Sean and Jim cleaned up after themselves at every step. They even swept up after the electrician left some stuff behind. What impressed me the most was the following: At the end of the day, I had to take a conference call for work - right as they were finishing up and were getting ready to show me how everything works. Even though they had been at my home all day, they waited for my call to end so that they could walk me through everything and show me how my system works. At that point it was after 6pm and they also have familiies and lives to attend to. That was very impressive. Everything looks great and works even better. We could not be happier with the work and service provided by Attic Rat as it will definitely add to our family enjoyment over the years. If you are in need of any audio/video or home theatre work to be done, you need to hire these guys - you will not go wrong.

I had called Bright House out to add new cable lines to my living room when I remodeled. The Bright House tech took one look and refused to do the job because the attic space was too small. He recommended Attic Rat, who according to him specialise in difficult jobs such as mine. Tony from Attic Rat came out and explained my options on how to best do the job. He then went right to work, and single handedly did a difficult job that I would have thought required two people. He made sure everything was working right before he left, and told me if there were any problems to call him. For all the work he did he only charged me $150.00. I was amazed! I highly recommend this company to anyone with any attic wiring needs.

Our telephones we had been using were no longer working. We thought replacing the batteries would fix the poblem but it didn't. So we spend $400.00 in buying a Mother phone and 3 phones that go with it. We tried everything to get these new phone hooked up but for some reason it just wouldn't work. My daughter suggested Attic Rat becuse it company go to the office where she use to work. She knew if anymore could get the phones hooked up Attic Rat could. So we called them and they came over the next morning. Sean was the repair man that was sent over and we were very happy with his knowledge. Sean has a great personality and got everything going in a short amount of time. I would call them again if we ever had a problem.

Trey recommended an excellent option and Sean did his usual great job of installation and advice on functions and use. These guys know their stuff and are very highly recommended for any audio/visual or tech system needs. We have used them three times in last year on AV needs and they have been top notch every time.

Scheduled to be at house between 2-4, but called and arrived at 1:00 pm. Installed proper cables, tested the TV and finished in a timely manner.

I'm not sure what happened, but the tech did not get my appointment time so no one showed up. I called and they immediately took responsibility for the error, and sent 2 techs out. They gave me a discount for my inconvenience and were very professional.

Bob arrived on schedule and went right to work studying how thing were set up. I don't believe anything was hooked up wrong but an extra set of eyes is always good. After about 60 minutes and not much luck we were both at the point the receiver was defective. I was about to go get the box when out of the blue a menu appeared. So Bob starting scrolling through the menu setting things. We have no real idea why it started working but it's most likely the HDMI communication.

Scott was punctual and showed up as promised. Listened to my needs and provided me with a few different options and quotes. I had my own quality speaker wire, but decided to use theirs...it's guaranteed! If using their wire, they charge by the foot, but the wire is pre-marked with numbers for measuring exactly how much was used. Scott was very clear and showed me the beginning # and the end #. It wasn't a and quot;guessing gameand quot; and clear what was used and what to charge. In fact, his estimate came within 2 feet of actual quote! Scott was very concerned about keeping house clean, shoes off, change of .clothes after coming down from attic...even vacuuming the floor! Very pleased with him and Attic Rat. Honestly, I'm glad there is a business out there to provide this service. I am a DIYer, but wouldn't have attempted this myself.

What can I say, he did what I wanted and I thought he did an outstanding job. I'd have him back any time for coffee.

I had scheduled an appointment to have one of Attic Rat's best technicians, Sean, come out in about a week. I was willing to wait since Sean had done previous work for us on several different occasions and was absolutely terrific. Luckily, Sean gave me a call when he got done early with another job to see if I'd like him to come at that time rather than wait several more days. All the better I agreed so he came right over. We needed to have our home theatre sound reconnected since the new cable service techs had messed things all up. Sean saved the day and more, and did it very quickly and efficiently. Since he was very familiar with our home, having installed a very sophisticated and extensive home theatre and music system throughout our home and outside several years ago, he remembered immediately where everything was and where it all needed to go. His expertise is amazing, he is very personable and friendly, yet is able to maintain the perfect level of professionalism. He goes above and beyond to ensure that every facet of our systems are working properly and checks everything before he leaves. You never feel like he is pushing any sales pitch and is very fair and reasonable in the fees charged for the services performed. We have worked with Attic Rat for years and have consistently found them to offer high quality services, the owner Trey was even willing to contact us to give assistance as a courtesy when we had moved out of state several years prior, and had a problem setting up our sound system in our other home. We could not recommend Attic Rat more highly, and I do set the bar pretty high with my expectations for any type of service performed in my home. I purchased a new home in May of last year and never liked the pre-wired placement of the audio/video cables for the surround sound system. I called the gentlemen that installed the wiring when the house was originally built and asked him if he could give me a quote on moving the wires to another wall where I planned to put a media cabinet for all the components etc. This gentlemen explained that the only way he could accomplish this was to run the wiring outside of the house through conduit and then bring it back through a crawl space to the location I wanted. I was not crazy about the idea of having conduit running down the side of my house so I searched Angies List and found Attic Rats Inc. I scheduled an appointment and Sean came out to look at the current set up. Sean did a thorough review of my home and said he felt very confident that the wiring could be run back through the ceiling and dropped in the location I wanted. He was very up front that there might be a few small cuts in the walls/sheetrock to fish the wiring to the new location but he would not know until he got started. He assured me if this we're the case he would returned everything back to the way it was once the install was complete. Sean also gave me a quote on all new audio/video equipment for the room and a few speakers on my patio area. My living room is pretty large open space so I was aware that is was not the ideal room accoustically. Sean was upfront about this fact as well and he quoted me a quality mid range system. I waited 4 months before I called back to schedule Sean for the install. Sean and Jim showed up on the date of install right on time and we're extremely professional and courteous. I was a little worried about the how much disruption the install was going to cause due to the fact that I have two small children under the age of 3 but everything went very smooth and not a single nap was interrupted. The entire first day Sean and Jim moved all the wiring to the new location without cutting a single hole in the walls which I was very pleased with. They installed all the flush mount speakers and also pulled off my flat screen TV and cleaned up the wiring behind it so the wires were no longer visible. The second day Sean and Jim cleaned up all the wiring to the components and then set up and tested the system. Sean then made sure that not only myself but my wife knew how to operate all the new equipment. Overall I couldn't be happier with my experience with Attic Rats Inc. Sean and Jim worked from the time they walked in the door to the time they left. They we're very professional and couteous to myself and my entire family. Everything they did was explained to us in a manner we could understand and they always took the time to answer any question we had. The best complement I could give any company is to say I would use their services again in the future and Attics Rats certainly earned that complement. Sean and Jim went above a beyond the work that was quoted and we are really thrilled with the new system.

He was just above and beyond. We had speakers outside and for the longest time we couldn't get our Bose system to work those speakers and he was able to hook it up. He also warned me about the hazards with all the wires that we had behind our TV. He told me about a surge protector. He wasn't pressuring me, but he suggested that this is going to really help a lot to protect me from destroying all of the things that I have hooked up from a lightning storm or a power outage. He cleaned up all the wires and made them as neat as he could and installed the protector. He hooked of the cable so that we could see HD even though we didn't have a cable box. He knew exactly what she was doing and explain to us about the mount and how it works and how to protect it and what I needed to do with it to swivel it up and down. He also gave me some pointers and was honest about everything.
