Robbie was the technician who came out and he was quick and professional. They did exactly what I wanted (this was a Father's Day gift) and I thought the cost was very reasonable given the time, effort, and frustration it would have cost me to try to do it myself. I would definitely use them again.

Robby came on time and was very clear about what he was going to do. He installed a new digital TV antennae using my existing exterior antennae pole. He used the existing coaxial cable plus had to add a power source for it to work optimally. I now have tons of channels so I am very happy. I would definitely use them in the future.

Both times I hired Attic Rat, the rep assessed the job, gave me a price, did the work and honored the price that was given. They were knowledgeable and pleasant. If I have a need for this type of work again, Attic Ratt will be the first place I call.

The technicians sent out, Robby and CJ, were very professional and did a great job on the install. I made several suggestions and they were happy to oblige my requests. They ran out of time on their initial scheduled date but returned on Saturday and worked for an additional four hours to get the job done. Up front cost is not cheap but at the benefit that we continue to rid ourselves of a $50 TV cable bill. My two TVs now receive about 57 over-the-air HD channels perfectly (both VHF and UHF come in great). This includes: NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, MyTV, Ion, multiple PBS stations. We cut the (cable) cord a couple of years ago but always dealt with sketchy reception with our in-door RCA antenna. So happy now everything comes in perfectly!

This is a very professional group that knows what they are doing. They gave me a couple of options and let me decide which was better for us in the room and what their opinion was as well. I was fully informed of what was happening and how much the service was going to cost before they started the job. We have been very satisfied with the work and will be contacting them again when we are ready to do any further TV wall mounting jobs. This is a great company with great service, you wont be sorry!

This was a very bad experience. On my first appointment, the technician did not finish the work promised. He apologized and said that the appointment was not scheduled correctly. He told me that he needed at least 3 hours to do the work and had to leave for another appointment. We made an appointment for the next week at noon. At 12:30 of the scheduled day, I called to ask where the technician was. The phone operator located the technician and called me back saying he could not be at my house until 2PM (2 hours late). I complained that I was not receiving good service. The reply I got was: "I am sorry, we will never step foot on your doorstep again!" Then the person hung up on me. I was very insulted. I tried to call the company back, and they would not pick up the phone to discuss the issue.

Attic Rat came out to set up some of the wiring for our television, audio and gaming system in our new home. The previous owners had left behind some of the set-up so we just needed Attic Rat to come out and set everything up for us. When scheduling the appointment we had to wait a little while before they could come out as they were booked for a little while. But, once they came out they were great. Bob was our contractor that came out and explained everything very clearly, made sure the system was set up to work best for us, and answered any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend their service. We have been enjoying our surround sound setup.

Sean is the best. I couldn't be any happier with the work that he did. The speakers look great, sound great and the system was fully explained to me so that I could operate and trouble shoot it if there were problems. They are great at the sound/music systems.

Sean arrived on time and was very professional in explaining what he had to do. He wired everything together very neatly and calibrated the TV picture and sound. He also set us up with a universal remote that does everything with the touch of a button. He was very patient in explaining how it worked. We were very pleased with the entire process. Very professional and affordable. We would certainly use them again for any technical need and recommend them highly.

I got exactly what I wanted. Quality parts were installed. The tech was professional, on time, and also provided me information about the work being done. He cleaned up all the mess from the drilling/cutting into the plaster and drywall. I will used them again when I need their services.

We recently relocated from Chicago to North Redington Beach, Florida. One of our final tasks was to adapt our new home?s technology to our own personal taste and preferences. Our new home?s existing technology was a bit dated and the local cable company had recently ravaged it, during their install. The ?cable guy? left the wiring in our technology closet a tangled and unlabeled with some of the equipment only partially functional. Fortunately, the base wiring in the walls and all of the associated speakers were in good shape but everything needed a bit of tender loving care and a lot problem-solving knowledge and skills. Thanks to Angie?s List we knew who to call: Attic Rat, Inc. The ?lead rat?, Sean, and his associate, Jim, supplied an abundance of knowledge and skills and just the right amount of TLC ! They reinstalled a new generation of amplifiers, systematically traced and labeled all our home?s existing wiring setup, and they also installed the VHS equipment we moved with us from Chicago so that we could continue to enjoy our large library of old VHS tapes. Sean and Jim also did a cleanup of our poolside technology including a television and an old set of speakers. We are now ready to entertain family and friends with lots of music and lots of movies. Both Sean and Jim took great pride in their work and they did everything that was promised at the quoted prices. The best part of the 3-day process was Sean?s ease-of-use programming of our new wireless universal remote controls closely followed by his extensive training regiment. He wanted to insure we could easily use all of the new equipment we just had installed. We would highly recommend the experts at ?Attic Rat, Inc.? for configuring and installing new technology. In a word, they were FANTASTIC in all respects.

Sean arrived as scheduled and went right to work. He was able to diagnose the problem and give me options. He sold me a new receiver, hooked up everything as it should be. I have a rather significant hearing loss so surround sound had long ago been worthless to me. I can now enjoy the surround sound (if I turn it up loud). I am very pleased with this outcome and the service. They will be the ones I call for this type of service.

I am updating our review from not so great to excellent for a few reasons. While we always liked Attic Rats, we had felt the tutorial and follow up was not superior. We found we were not the best communicators on scheduling and expectations. We (I) take responsibility for the poor rating in the past and would like to apologize to Attic Rat (and staff) in our role in the outcome. They have since come out to our home and very politely and professionally assisted us in our new remote and troubleshooting items needed. Thank you and we truly are satisfied customers and would recommend Attic Rat to anyone looking for a provider who is ready for the challenge of any media/audio/visual needs whatsoever.

Sean and Jim did an OUTSTANDING job in rewiring my Cable, Ethernet, and phone in my home. They were prompt, extremely professional, and took great care of my walls and structure of this very extensive upgrade. Everything was completed without a single issue and was kept within the budget we agreed upon. The team was very professional in my home. All the jacks were installed straight and the wiring cabinet was installed beautifully. Everything worked on the first try and Sean and Jim answered a number of my questions along the way. I would highly recommend using their company for all cabling needs.

On December 5, Sean showed up and spent almost 2 hours with us listening to our requests, reviewing our current situation and then making suggestions for the installation. On the following Monday, we had a detailed, itemized quote for the work to be performed. After reviewing the quote and making some small adjustments we scheduled the service to be performed on December 23. This was not a small job (mounting of 4 flat screen TV's, installing a receiver and surround sound system and providing a full hands-on tutorial on the system's operation) and most companies would never have attempted to complete a job of this size in one day, let alone two days before Christmas. Sean arrived, with his assistant Jim, just after 9:00AM on the 23rd. They finished the installation, and Jim left for the day around 6:00PM. Sean remained and finished some clean-up and then provided us with a detailed, hands-on tutorial of how to use the system as well as the functions of our new 'infrared' universal remote control. Sean did not leave our home until 8:30PM after he was sure we understood our new system. An eleven and a half hour day! The job performed by this organization, from initial quote to final tutorial, could not have gone any smoother. We would highly recommend Attic Rat Inc. for any individual considering updating their home theatre systems. We would and will use them for any future electronic needs!

The install went great and the wall and system is prefect. I am a perfectionist and this guy, Bob, was THE BEST. You would be lucky to get these guy's to handle your AV project. Trey, the owner, was also very helpful in explaining all aspects of the install. Considering the amount of labor involved, I consider the price very reasonable.

When my house was first built another company installed my sound system and did a good job but had no interest in doing any additional work. I contacted Attic Rat and they have been my service provider for the last ten years. Trey and Sean are responsive, fair in their pricing and do quality work. I am very pleased with their quality and business ethics.
