They are good and I would use them again.

I called Tim Miner to come out because I knew I had opossums in my attic. I could hear at least three at night over the A/C vents and their tails hung out of the vents on occasion. (And in my distress, I called the first phone number I saw in the yellow pages~my mistake!!!) Over the phone, he said it would cost about $225 to trap and remove the opossums and the listing (estimate) was $1592 when he came out. That included sealing off all entrances, trapping for one week, and spraying a liquid on the "thick" layer of rat f**** he said was in my attic. My experience was that I was swindled! In the next two days, the live babies had not moved much over the vents and Tim said they would climb right out as my A/C duct work was like "swiss cheese." A third one had died and when I called to have it removed, I found it would cost me another $225 per dead animal. My daughter's boyfriend dropped the two live ones out and the third dead one. I then began to smell still another dead opossum and the technician from Action Animal said he checked the attic and there was no dead one up there. Mr. Miner also referred a handyman who could replace my A/C ductwork. His handyman friend came out and said my ducts were bad but he would send an A/C man out. Unfortunately, this is when I joined Angie's List. I had already paid the full $1592. So I called Bayside Heating and Air and they came out, checked my ductwork and found three more dead opossums while inspecting my ducts. They said there were a few holes; however, most of my ductwork was in tact. And Bayside crawled through my attic and found only two small places that had minimal rat f****. They did see opossum f**** though. I will never recommend Action Animal and will tell as many friends about how I paid almost 1600 for a job that should have cost no more than 350 - 500. Basically, they trapped one opossum, sealed entrances with mesh, and sprayed my attic. We removed the 6 babies ourselves! This has been my worst experience with any outside service and unfortunately now, I would never trust one of Mr. Miner's recommendations.

Contracted with this company to remove possum(s) from attic and wall around fireplace, secure entrances to attic to prevent animal entrance, and clean up animal mess in attic. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company performing services for my home (and I am 64 years old). They failed to keep contracted appointments, failed to removed the possum from the wall before it died and made a still lingering terrible stench. Completely unprofessional. Changed technicians 3 times (one tech told me original tech was fired for filing contracts as complete when work had not been done). Verbal promises were made regarding clean up that were never kept. No final paperwork done. Last tech just told my wife job was done. When I contracted with this company about 6 weeks ago they had satisfactory rating with BBB> Now BBB shows they were suspended last November??? They are very very expensive, but their sales rep sold me on how thorough and good they were.

THIS WAS A VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE, THEY WERE FREQUENTLY UNRESPONSIVE TO ME, BUT RESPONDED TO MALE FRIENDS, THEY DID NOT WANT TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON MUCH WORK PROMISED VERBALLY, AND WANTED PAYMENT UP FRONT.

I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY STOLE MY KITTENS AND LIED ABOUT THEIR DISPOSITION. THESE WERE NOT FERAL KITTENS. I HAVE BEEN EMOTIONALLY UPSET OVER THIS INCIDENT SINCE NOV. 28, 2005 WHEN IT HAPPENED. I HAVE CALLED OTHER ANIMAL REMOVAL COMPANIES WHO SAY THEY DO NOT TRAP CATS. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A FL LICENSE FOR THIS COMPANY. I HAVE A FEELING THEY TRAP CATS TO SELL TO VICIOUS PIT BULL TRAINERS TO USE AS BAIT. I FEEL THAT THIS IS A DISREPUTABLE COMPANY THAT WAS NOT HONEST WITH ME.

ACTION DID A JOB FOR MY NEIGHBOR AND THEN I HIRED THEM TO SEAL MY VENTS ON THEIR RECOMMENDATION. THEY BRING IN THEIR OWN HOUSE CLEANERS WHICH ARE EXCELLENT. THEY ARE VERY GOOD COMMUNICATORS AND ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.
