The freezer was icing up around the door. I called on the 5th and they were able to send someone out the next day. The freezer door needed to be adjusted and it is working just fine now.

I came home on Friday night, May 21st, to find a puddle of water under my Maytag refrigerator. On examination, I found that all the ice in the freezer had melted, all the frozen foods were no longer frozen and the cold foods were barely cool. It's Friday night and it's obvious the refrigerator has been on the fritz for hours! I looked on Angie's List and called Arnie's and I was told that they would have someone out first thing in the morning (on a Saturday!), between 8:00 and 8:30. Roy from Arnie's showed up at exactly 8:00, went right to work and within minutes figured out that the refrigerator motor controls were not working. Roy replaced the controls, cleaned out the coils and had the refrigerator up and working by 9:00. He was professional and courteous and I felt lucky to have my refrigerator back in working order on a Saturday morning for just $175.00 (after my 10% Angie's List discount)!

They charged $90, but also gave me a discount. They were excellent. I would use this company again in the future.

They were great. They did a quick job and they were very careful. They came out the same day that I called, which is difficult, but I had an oven that wasn't working. I was very happy with them and if it ever breaks again, that's who I'll go to.

I called for an appointment at ~8:45am and within ~1.5 AArnies had BOTH my dishwasher AND washing machine fixed!! Prompt, efficient, a great experience.

Came, investigated the problem, called the next day once he had run down all the problems and what the cost would be to fix.

My washing machine stopped working. The technician determined it was due to a faulty switch and replaced it. Beside replacing the switch, he also inspected the entire machine to make sure there was no other problems. He also gave me a couple suggestions on how I can keep the machine for a long time. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received.

glass top stove not functioning...did a thorough diagnosis and was able to repair...my only small issue was the repairment wasn't very good about cleaning up after himself...I would use them again....

On Sunday my clothes dryer made a loud ping and the drum stopped rotating. I checked Angie's List and A Arnie's was at the top of the list and close to my house. I called first thing Monday morning and they were there within the time frame given, (at my request) replaced the belt and a small guide, checked the filter, vent and was done within 1 hour. What a wonderful experience. I would use them again and refer to others.

We called first thing in the morning with our refrigerator making a loud motor noise. We assumed is was a costly compressor. He showed up shortly after noon, diagnosed it as a bad fan motor and explained everything clearly, and made the repair in about an hour. Afterwards he asked if we had any coupons, which we did from Angie's List. We appreciated the prompt response and honest diagnosis, as well as the fair price.

He found a broken bracket and he found that the agitator was missing a piece. He fixed both of those problems and he had the parts on his truck. He came out within a half hour of my call, he was polite and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend them. The price for the parts and him coming out was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again. He was very helpful; he looked at my shelf to see if I had dryer sheets because they can really cause a problem with your dryer and he explained it all to me. He also told me that I don?t need to use the full amount of my laundry detergent. He was a really nice guy.

He was reasonable; I don?t think he overcharged me. He worked very diligently. I am happy with his work. The washing machine seems to be working fine now. I will definitely use him again in the future.

First time I used this company since I was unable to get anyone else to come sooner. Roy arrived on time and was very polite and knowledgeable of my particular machine. It was comforting to know that he specifically told me that he would find out what was wrong with the machine, provide an exact cost of repair and then go from there.

Roy from Arnie's was able to come out the same day and return the next with the correct part. He as very helpful in explaining what went wrong and why.

I thought I would have to buy a new washer but he was able to fix. He said that it should be able to last a few more years. I would recommend them.

It went very well. They came out the same day the call was made, immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired it. They didn't try to sell us on extra services, and I felt the workman was very knowledgeable.

He didn't have the part in his truck but he drove to Crystal Beach to the shop to get it and was back within the hour. He had the refrigerator running again about 20 minutes after that. He was very polite and very careful to explain what the problem was and how he was going to fix it.

Prompt and courteous. The technician was there within 48 hours. He worked diligently, and explained every step. He had the part needed on the truck and called Arnie to try and get a good price on cleaning the vent to the roof along with the heating coil repair.

The technician took apart my washing machine by removing the back panel and saw that it had a hole from rust in the drum (the machine was original from when the house was built in 1990) and told me I had three choices. He could patch the drum from the outside; patch the drum from the inside or purchase a new washer. The estimated cost would be around $175.00. I felt that if it had rusted once, this was the start of ongoing leaks and decided I would be better off purchasing a new washer. He even recommended manufacturers I should use and the ones I should shy away from. I also asked him some questions about my dishwasher (installed originally in 1990) and he suggested the right type of soap I should buy to ensure it would continue working well. I was very pleased with both the quick response to my voice mail call and with the technician who came out to my house. I would recommend A Arnie's and will use them again (hopefully not in the near future).

Fridge was running warm, 42F, freezer 33F. Rearranged freezer to improve movement of air. Two days passed with slight improvement. Called Arnie about noon on a Friday; said he's have someone over in afternoon. Tech came, gave price, had parts, installed with 1 yr. warrantee. Very pleased with prompt, no nonsense service.

WORK DONE PROMPTLY. I PROBABLY SHOULD JUST BUY ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR RATHER THAN PAYING $144 FOR ANOTHER TIMER, THE REFRIGERATOR IS OLD. IT PROBABLY CONSUMES TOO MUCH ELECTRICITY TO OPERATE IN THIS HOT WEATHER. I'M SAVING TO BUY ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR IN 2006.
