It turned out that the washing machine couldn't be fixed, and I appreciated that he was truthful about this. He also provided helpful information on choosing a new washer in the future.

Great. My dryer stopped working completly, i called them and they came right out, had the parts on the truck, repaired it.

Technician was prompt and courteous. Parts needed to be ordered and he returned as soon as they arrived. I expected the bill to be much higher because of the amount of time he spent here. I will definitely call them in the future and recommend to friends.

He did an excellent job. The refrigerator was overheating. He came out very promptly and even looked at the balance of the washing machine for free.

Great experience...showed up on time and went right to work. Took washer apart and determined the repairs would be quite costly ($300+) AND that the motor and/or control panel (digital/computer chip) would probably go next, within the year, which would be several hundred more to fix. He said he could fix the immediate issues and it would run but highly recommended we replace the washer. When I expressed dismay at that (not because of the cost of new washer, but because we absolutely HATE the new "energy efficient" washers/dryers that have all the bells & whistles but beat the clothes up without actually cleaning them & take 2-3 drying cycles to actually get the clothes dry. What's the point of energy efficiency if the appliances have to be run 2-3 times as often to do the same job?) Anyway, he told me exactly what to look for to get old-style cleaning/drying capabilities, good brands to choose, and where I could find them. VERY pleased with all the professional assistance...learned more in a 5 minute conversation with the guy than I ever would have gotten from an appliance sales person! He charged just the basic service fee, which was fine by me...actually feel like I got more for my money since he steered me correctly on the new washer/dryer purchase (we found exactly what he talked about, and have been using the new ones for 10 days...they work just like the old-style appliances. Yippee: clean & dry clothes) Excellent service, would recommend Arnie's to anyone & everyone, and will not hesitate to call them when/if any appliances need service here.

He was very honest. My washer was leaking water but when he got there of course it didn't leak. So then he ran it and it started leaking. He said the transmission is gone. He said he could repair it but I was better off getting a new unit. He was very honest and I appreciated that.

The repair technician arrived promptly at the time specified by the person who took my call the previous day. He was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to fix my refrigerators. He spent time explaining the possible root-cause effect of the problem as well as giving me tips to extend the life of my appliances. He was courteous at all times and my wife was very impressed with his professionalism. The fee for the repair was fair and save me having to buy a new refrigerator for our garage. I will DEFINITELY use them in the future as well as refer others to their services.

Even though they didn't do any service today, I would use them in the future. I thought it showed very impressive business integrity that there was no charge for his service call today. Many companies would still charge you for the time of the technician even if they were unable to fix the problem.

I called in to talk about our dishwasher in our new home. It was not getting dishes clean. The nice lady who answered the phone discussed it with me along with dishwasher detergents, what we were using, water temp, etc - which I appreciated because she was trying to help troubleshoot what the issue was over the phone. Once we determined that was not the issue, she scheduled someone to come out and take a look the next day when I could be available. A very nice man named Mike came and checked it out. He promptly cleaned out the dishwasher, showed me the dirty parts, along with a piece that was badly broken and would need to be replaced (there was a piece of wood somehow lodged in the bottom underneath the chopper piece!). He ordered the part and it came in within a couple days and he was back at our house putting the dishwasher back together. It now works wonderfully! Mike was extremely professional, courteous, prompt, and provided some helpful advice with our dishwasher and a few other appliances. My experience with A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Repair was wonderful and I will definitely use them again. Their prices were fair and their service met/exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to others.

Our tenant called on a Friday morning and said the refrigerator was hot on the outside and not cooling well. My husband was going to call someone else and I said, "No, wait! We need to call the company we used before. They were very good". So, he called A Arnie's, which had fixed another minor problem with the same refrigerator a year before. They were at the house the same afternoon and made the repairs. We were afraid we'd have to buy a new refrigerator, considering it's age, but they fixed it at a very reasonable cost and very quickly. Their responsiveness is very important to us and to the great tenants we want to keep happy. I will use them for all of our appliance repairs in the future.

Both times my calls were returned promptly, professional, friendly, informative and patiently answered all my questions. I would not use anyone else.

Called for repair, let them know that it was not urgent and scheduled time at our convenience. Matt showed up on time, assessed what was needed for both problems. Looked up price and availability of parts needed. He gave us quote and what day the parts were expected in. Sure enough parts came in on time, they called and came right out. Matt installed and described everything that was done. Price was same as quoted. We were very pleased with the experience. We will not hesitate to call with any other appliance issues in the future.

I called Arnie's on Thursday about my washing machine problem. They were willing to come out later that same day but Friday was the earliest I could be available so we scheduled early Friday. Roy arrived right on time. I told him I thought a belt had broke. He walked around the corner took one look at the washer and said it didn't have belts then immediately started explaining what the problem was and even what could have happened to cause the problem (of which we were guilty). He quoted a very reasonable price and began work. He had all the parts required on his truck. I was so pleased with his work that after he finished the washer I asked him if he could look at a fridge we had in the garage that leaked water from the freezer down into the fridge. He took a look at it, explained what was wrong, what would fix if and how much it would cost. Again a very reasonable cost. He even wiped down the fridge while he had it empty. Buy the time Roy left I felt we were best friends. PS. We ran a load of clothes thru the washer while he was working on the fridge and it worked great. I highly recommend Arnie's and Roy for any of your appliance needs.

Had some issues with my washer and stove top and AGAIN called A appliance Arnie's and requested Matthew, (I found this particular appliance center several months ago when I had problems with my refrigerator.) Matthew again per my request, came out, was on time, professional, and more than knowledgable on his trade. Needless to say he fixed both appliances after ordering the proper parts and was on his way within no time. I am a customer of A Arnie's appliance for life and ask for Matthew and will refer them to all MY customers (already have) FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. My Husband was impressed and happy as well and that is something.

Overall the experience was great, showed up on time explained what he was going to do and explained what the part was he found defective and what it would cost to complete job. After that he told me to wait two days and if temp was not 40 or below to call. It was 44 so I called .....and he called back and said he wanted to upgrade the part he put in to get the temp down to 40. He ordered the part and two days later installed. The refregerator is now working at 40. By the way there was no extra charges for the new replacement part or comming back out a second time. I thought this was great.

They came out, and said I needed a part. It took over a month to get a part. They came back out, and the part didn't fix it. They said if I bought a microwave, they would take $80 off the installation. It went well, but they only took $40 off. The installation part was nice though.

the service techs, matt and roy showed up at the exact time requested, they checked the oven and saw the burned out element, to my suprise they had the needed replacement on their truck. after very carefully moving the oven out to work on it,using teflon sheet to slide it out ,as to not damage the wooden flooring, thet installed the new heating element and started the oven up to make sure it was working and no other issues were present. the entire process was done from start to finish in less than an hour, and they took 10% off the bill using angie's coupon,no questions asked

I called Arnie's appliance repair after my microwave stopped working.The technician,Matthew,arrived within an hour.he was very professional & helpful. Within a half hour,my microwave was as good as new! I would definitely call Arnie's in the future for any appliance repairs.

He explained in detail what was wrong with our refrigerator and what we should do to prevent a similar occurrence in the future. He also explained what was going on with the washer agitator. He was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. We give A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Service an A+! Glad we joined Angie's List!

Service was timely and satisfactory

I USED TO use ABC appliance in Holiday and after this experience will never call them again!!! I woke up Monday morning to a dead 4 year old fridge and called my old appliance center mentioned above after rude customer service and not being able to get a straight answer on a approximate time and feeling like they were doing me a favor..I remembered Angie"s list. I looked up appliance repair and called 2... AARNIES ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY and understood I had to work and accommodated my busy schedule. Matthew the service pro came to my home at the time they said he would and fixed the problem and only charged 177 dollars to replace the computer on my fridge. Bravo Matthew and thank you AARNIES for helping me when I needed you.

I have used the services of this company on several occasions now and each time they are prompt, professional and very polite. Our refrigerator/freezer was not getting cold enough, so we looked in Angie's list and called Arnie's, since they had some very excellent reports. We called about 9:00 Am and Roy came out around 1:00 PM. Roy determined that the evaporator fan was bad and needed to be replaced. Roy replaced the fan and explained some things about regulated the temperature that we did not know before. Roy was very professional and helpful. If we have any more problems with any of our large appliances, we will definitely call Arnie's.

Our dryer stopped working on December 1st. I did an Angie's list search and felt most comfortable with what was said about this company. I called for a service appointment, they told me they could come out that day but I wanted a Saturday appointment. The appointment was set for Saturday December 4th between 9 and 11. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem as a bad thermostat. The thermostat was replaced and he then cleaned the dryer vent. The dryer is vented up through the roof, dumb idea, so there is no way I could do this myself. I told him I will have to get someone to do that every two or three years. He said we will be happy to do it. I will definitely use this company when anything goes wrong with any of my appliances.

The technician arrived on time, found the problem which was minor and quickly fixed it.
