Description of Work: We recently had a new home built on an odd shaped lot in Yacht Harbor Village Marina, Palm Coast. Nick Puma designed a gorgeous home with all of the specifications we were looking for. The home turned out perfect and we love it. He is honest and very talented. My husband and I recommend him 100%.

Description of Work: We went to Gold Coast to have them build us our retirement home. Nicholas Puma gave us an 'original floor plan' that 'he designed'. After going over the floor plan and telling him what modifications we wanted, we met with him a second time. We went over the specifications line by line. He gave us a fantastic price. So we gave him a $5,000 deposit. We made some minimal modifications to the original specifications, which we knew we would have to pay for. However when he recalculated the price, he came in $120,000 higher. When we asked why the cost was so high for the additional modifications, he sent us a spreadsheet that contained most of the items he had included in the original price. So we argued. We fired him. We find that he is disingenuous. He uses the 'bait and switch' technique of sales. Don't fall for it. He refused to refund our $5,000. This space is too small to say all I have to say about Gold Coast. |Luckily we found a reputable builder. We brought him our plans. Nick Puma, through a mutual acquaintance, implied that if we used the plans he would sue us since he has a copyright. It turns out that the builder we ended up with was the original designer of our plans and holds the copyright. I wouldn't trust Gold Coast to build a bird house.
