+ -1 moreThe price was very reasonable. He was very honest about the whole thing. I knew a little bit about air conditioning and I went out there to make sure certain things were done and that he wasn't going to try to stick me with a whole new unit. I checked it and the big parts worked. He fixed the problem and didn't tell me that I needed a new air conditioner. He told me that I needed a new thermostat and I told him to put it in. He said that his was $125 and that I could go to a big box store and get a much better one cheaper. He is my guy now. I called him at 8 am and he said he would be there around 11 and he was there shortly after.
Description of Work: I used Arctic Breeze Air Conditioning & Heating because my air conditioner stopped working. It was a little control problem that he fixed.

Description of Work: a. Repair Suction Line (Braze) where Freon is located b. Repair frayed common wire c. Re-route wires correctly, away from suction line and tie strap d. Place protective insulation around freon pipe where wires are then secured to e. Repair Accumulator (sand and paint) f. Evacuate lines g. Replace with 10 -11 lbs of freon. h. Test system and inspect inside at vents to confirm cold air is coming out.

+ 0 moretest of heating and AC units. The crew, with owner, arrived at the stated time, were neatly attired in clean uniforms, very professional. They were polite and extremely respectful of our home and belongings. They worked steady and did not use profanity or unprofessional language. We would highly recommend this local business to any home owner needing a replacement heating and air conditioning system. They have serviced our current systems since 2003 and will continue to do so far into the future. A company that is truly worthy of Angie's List and consumers confidence.
Description of Work: Removed old heat pump, concrete pad, and air handler. Added new ducts in master bedroom. Applied Mastic tape to all of the new and old ducts pipes, replacing the Mastic tape in place for 11 years. Sold us a new 17 SEER, American Standard System for a thousand dollars less then the other estimate. The other estimate was for a brand rated far below American Standard by Consumer Reports.They also cleaned while they worked and made sure the work site had no leftover parts or debris upon completion. American Standard was rated best by a recent Consumer Reports.

+ -1 moreCalled the company and they were out within 45 min for a new customer. M.J. gave me a run down of what was wrong with the unit and what my options were. He even left brochures for buying a new unit which we will have to do soon. Overall great fast service. I just moved in so I could not get my printer working (Urrgghh) for the $56 off coupon for new customers, but he did give me $20 off.
Description of Work: Replaced shorted dual capacitor and burnt contractor. Checked operation of system.

Whole job only took about 6 hrs. New system very, very quiet compared to the old. Thanks for a great job!

If using the discount voucher, make sure you know the difference between a maintenance call and a service call - there is a difference.

Description of Work: I had a full a/c unit installed, inside and out from thermostat, pad, air handler, compressor. Top to bottom they were awesome.. They said they would be here between 8-8:30 , they showed at 8:15. Professional, cleaned up after themselves and explained everything when done. They even found a problem with a duct and fixed it no charge. After getting 4 other quotes they were the best for the money. I can not say enough about them. Arctic Breeze is exceptional

So we were told by a neighbor to call Artic Breeze and interview them and their service plans. That has been 6+ years ago and since then we added an investment property to our contract. A very god and reliable AC company.

+ 0 moreThe overall service and installation was very well done, and appreciated. Very highly recommend this company. Positive Notes Special attention to detail for removing the existing duct work for input/output in the garage, This was quite messy from the original installation and they brought it up to code. Promptness for starting the job was as stated 8:30 sharp, right on time. Cleaned up the mess created from the installation. Explained what to do for various aspects of the unit, including the use of the thermostat. Everyone was courteous and professional. Negative Notes The only thing that went wrong was reinstalling the Space Guard filter. However I found a conversion kit online to rectify the problem.
Description of Work: Installation of new 2.5 ton 16.25 SEER American Standard Heat Pump System with 8kw and a Honeywell thermostat.
