Sailfish Solar walked us through the entire process of installing solar onto our home. They explained the benefits and any issues our property presented. Once our decision was made to move forward, the Sailfish Solar team stayed in communications throughout each step of the process. Installation was less than a normal days work. I worked from home and had no interruptions to my business. We are thrilled with the quality of work provided and are enjoying being closer to energy indepedence.

I have lived in Martin County for over 30 years and was ready to add solar to my home in North River Shores. I had done my homework and arranged four separate vendors to give me quotes for adding a PV solar system to my house. I had a battery of questions to ask regarding the installation, warranty, equipment and timeline. During the vetting process, I learned that most solar contractors are not local. Even though they may appear in a local listing, they are in fact hundreds of miles away. Two of three vendors did not even come to my home, submitting their quotes via email without ever looking at my home. Sailfish Solar easily stood out from the others vendors as they were the ONLY company among the four that was truly a local company. Mike Antheil is the company owner and he is also a Martin County resident. Mike came to the house several times to answer all my questions. I had a specific location I wanted the panels to be located and Mike did the extra work to ensure it was a viable placement. His pricing was very competitive and Mike's knowledge and personable manner closed the deal. The installation was quick and the installers were very professional. Everything was done on time or ahead of the schedule Mike had promised. Importantly, we needed to be done before December 31st so I could get my all important tax rebate quickly, as opposed to waiting another year. Mike met this deadline. My 12K system has been online for over 45 days now and I am very pleased with its performance. Even in the shorter days of February, I was making over 60 Kwh on sunny days. Peak power production is over 8000 Watts midday. Most importantly, according to the FPL meter, my system is producing more electricity than I am using on most days. My tax rebate came back promptly and returned 26% of my purchase price. My first electric bill was less than $40 as opposed to a normal bill of $250. I could not be happier with my Solar system and can easily encourage anyone to call Sailfish Solar if they are considering a home solar system. Make sure you do it soon so you can take advantage of the sweet “net metering” deal that FPL offers before the cutoff date when it will no longer be available..

It was excellent. The process was seamless. Handled everything. Mike was phenomenal. Prompt and understanding, listened to my question and answered all of my concerns.
