Description of Work: Weekly Pool Service

Description of Work: This company serviced our pool on a weekly basis for more than 10 years - and provided advise before and after hurricanes. Their pool service crew were reliable and knowledgeable. They have provided guidance and advise that saved money. Up to two years ago, I would have given them an A+ and have recommended them in the past. Something changed about two years ago. Last year, we needed a repair to the spa equipment. Rather than order the appropriate part, they installed what they had in the shop, as they did not want to order what we needed and then have extra inventory. When their rigged attempt did not work, they had to order the correct materials, but we suddenly had a new equipment problem, which they said was caued by the first issue - and they said would require replacement of a pump. My husband believed that the second problem was caused by thier attemted repair - and that the pump could be repaired and did not need replacement. We were not treated well and no longer do business with them. We retained another pool company that agreed that the second problem could not have been cause by the first - and agreed that the entire pump did not need replacement. It was repaired and has worked well since. We are disappointed about the outcome with this company. As a small local business - and I believe female-owned business, I supported them and for many years was quite pleased with their responsiveness, knowledge and service. I don't know what changed - or if it reflects the attitude of only one or two employees.

Description of Work: Palm City Pool installed a pool pump, spa pump and new spa heater for us. They were punctual, extremely knowledgabe, and fair priced. They explained in detail the operation of all the new equipment and when we had a question regarding manual funjction of the heater they responded to us and came out to our home immediately. We highly recommend them. They also clean our pool weekly and our pool is always sparkling and beautiful.

Description of Work: Warranty work was promised but never delivered. After establishing that Palm City pools was a warranty repair station for Hayward pool products I called to set up an appt. After speaking with Moray, the owner, we set up an appt for the next day. After four days and they had not shown up my wife called to ask when they would be coming, she was told by Moray that she had spoken with me and that I had said it was Okay to come the following day (total untruth, she never spoke with me). Well they did come the next day and determined, wrongly I might add, that two items were unservicable with our system. Moray then promised to have the work done within the next two days. Those two days elapsed plus two more with not even a call from Moray. So on Tuesday I called and she said she would call her worker and call me right back. Well of course she did not call back, so later that afternoon I went up to her business and she told me that she didn't make any money off Hayward warranties and that mine would be the last one she ever did. She said her worker would be at my house at 1pm the next day. On Wednesday morning I get a nasty call from Bob, her worker, who informs me that they are no longer doing warranty work for Hayward as of "right now".
