From the initial phone call to his final follow-up visit, Mike displayed the knowledge, courtesy, and attention to detail I would expect of only the very best professionals. He was very accommodating to our chaotic holiday travel schedule by coming to our home for an inspection and estimate within two hours of our initial contact. He immediately recognized the two "problem" trees in our front yard -- one a large, dead queen palm and the other a fairly significant live oak whose root system was creating havoc in our brick driveway. After describing how he would remove the trees and grind the stumps, he also offered to remove the affected brick pavers, remove the offending roots, and "reasonably" restore the level surface of the driveway. He also suggested that we do a thorough survey of our side and back yards to assess the health of our other large trees. Based on his recommendation we authorized the removal of a marginal avocado tree and the trimming/thinning of our other palms and two additional large oaks threatening our screen enclosure in the back yard. After the survey, he returned to his truck for about ten minutes and subsequently returned with a clear description of the work to be performed and firm cost estimate. Based on my previous experience with other tree removal/trimming projects, I recognized the estimate to be very fair, and with a simple handshake (no signatures, no depoist) we agreed on a day to complete the work. During the early afternoon of the day before the work was to begin, Mike called to ask if he could begin the work early having completed a previous project nearby. I approved the early start and he and his crew arrived within the hour to begin the work. Mike carefully reviewed the scope of work with his crew, and they began immediately. My wife and I had to leave for about two hours, and when we returned both large trees in the front yard were gone, the avocado tree was gone, the roots under the driveway were removed and the driveway brick pavers replaced, leveled, and swept clean. Before they left for the day, they cleaned up all debris and let me know that they would return about 8:30 in the morning to grind the stumps and trim/thin the trees in the back yard. After observing their diligence and professional care, I felt very comfortable leaving them to finish the work without my "help". They arrived on time the following morning and let us know that they would complete the stump grinding first and then begin trimming/thinning. My wife and I had to leave for the day, and when we returned home the work was completed and everything was clean. I called Mike the following day and he came to the house to walk me through the work they had done and to ensure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. My answer was a resounding, "Yes!" We couldn't have been more pleased with Mike and his tree service crew of professionals. Quality work, on time, good price, great customer service!

Mike showed up on time, with all the equipment needed to get the job done. They worked as quickly as possible and cleaned up ALL of the debris.

I originally contacted Mike the week before Thanksgiving to remove several dead pine trees on my property. I told him the house was under construction and he agreed to go to the site. He met with the general contractor and called me to give me a price and to schedule a time to do the work. We agreed that he would do the work on Tuesday the 25th of November. I live more than a hour for the job site but I agreed to meet him there at 8:30 A.M. When I arrived at the site he was very angry and told me he was leaving. I was surprised. He said he could not work with all of the other construction people around. He never mentioned this to me when we scheduled the work. I told him that it would just take me a few minutes to get all of the trucks and people out of his way. He told me that he was to upset to work and his language was very unprofessional. I offered to pay him extra for his time lost but he said he was to upset and he would come back the following Monday. I agreed and told him that I would personally see to it that no other workers would not be on site that day. This was very difficult for me to do because everyone is trying to get the house completed before Christmas. I called him the next day. I apologized for the inconvenience and asked him to confirm that he would be there on Monday December 1. He did not answer but I left a clear message and asked him to call me back to confirm. He did not return my call. I called him again on Friday 11/28 twice, once to his office and also to his cell. He did not return my call. I called again to both numbers on Saturday 11/29 and asked him to please give me the courtesy of a call back. I called again on Sunday 11/30. He never returned my calls. I was on site as promised Monday morning at 8:30 HE NEVER CAME AND HE NEVER CALLED. He is with out a doubt the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Use at you own risk. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Called and left a message on voicemail on Saturday, got a call back Monday morning. Explained what I wanted done, Mike went by my house and got back with me very fast with a price. I said go ahead and his crew was out today( the next day) and did a great job. I highly recommend Mike's Tree Service!

They were ahead of the date that we had scheduled, prompt, courteous and very professional. We were very satisfied with the work.

Mike stopped by to give us a quote, which was better than others, took both trees down and chipped them then ground the stumps. They were fast and efficient and did a great job. Highly recommend them.

Mike promptly returned our phone call requesting an estimate for some tree trimming that we needed done. He then came by to look at our job and give us a quote. We felt that the estimate was quite fair considering the size of the trees. He also gave us some excellent advice on some smaller trees and shrubs that we thought we could handle ourselves. He told us that his crew could do the work in the next couple of days, but that he would call before hand. He called the night before the work was to be done to tell us that his men would be by the next morning at 8:30AM. They actually arrived at 8:15AM and began work almost immediately. He was here to get them started. His crew was very helpful in giving us some additional advice about the vegetation on our property. All in all, working with this company was a pleasure. We will definitely use them again.

Everything was done according to plan. I opted for extra work which they performed. The extra work cost as much as the original quote so I would suggest you plan ahead and get the quote for whatever you might want to do.

Responded to call and came right out to do estimate. Crew arrived as scheduled and on time and cleared all trees and brush. Removed all debris from yard.

Mike was punctual. Had all the right equipment including a chipper. He and his 2 helpers did a great job of cutting down a 30 foot tree right to the ground. They also did a great job of thinning out an oak tree. They were very neat you could not tell I had tree work done after they left.

We called Mike's tree service, left a message and he returned our call right away. We only needed some tree stumps grinder down prior to having some landscaping work done. He was polite, professional and did the work quickly. He cleaned up after their work was complete. I will be happy to recommend his company to anyone, as well as using his service again.

He did an excellent job. He was neat and totally professional. I will need more work done and will call him again. He's expertise in the area is totally exceptional.

Mike and his crew of 3 men showed up a day early which was very convenient as I travel for business. His crew was professional, friendly and very efficient. Mike, without my asking, inspected all of my landscape trees and found an old stump that was also diseased. He had his men ground that out as well.

Mike and crew did everything that I requested. They did the job well and kept me posted on the progress. This was a big job and he estimated that it would take three days. They had all the right equipment to get the job done. After the second day he knew it was going to take about a half day longer than estimated. I appreciated that he wanted to complete the job thoroughly. He didn't charge much extra for the extra time.

Mike has many years experience and I felt most comfortable going with him after getting quotes from several others. He was reasonable, especially considering he offered to do more than the others (he brought in a stump grinder). He did exactly what he promised; we'd definitely use him again.

I was very pleased from the moment I contacted Mike. He came out the next day and walked the property with me and shared his recommendations and expertise. He provided me with a bid then as well. No mickey moussing around or waste of time. His company is top rated on Angie's List for a reason (actually several reasons). Not only was he the lowest bidder (out of four total) but you could tell he has been doing this type of work for over 25 years. He knew what he was talking about and had the proper equipment and crew to get the job done right and on time. I will be using Mike's Tree Service, LLC again in the near future. I highly recommend his services.

We were so impressed we decided to have Mike's Tree Service to do annual maintenance on our other trees, and we are having them spray and trim a tree on our rental property which has white fly.

They cam on time and did all the work as described and expected. Extremely professional and left our yard in great shape. Took all the waste with them.

MIKE GAVE US A FAIR PRICE AND A COUPLE DAYS LATER COMPLETED THE JOB. HE CUT 2 TREES AND GROUND LARGE ROOTS FROM THE YARD. HE HAD 2 HELPERS THAT WORKED ALONG SIDE OF MIKE BOTH DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP. I WOULD USE MIKE AGAIN SINCE WE WANTED THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND MIKE WASTED NO TIME TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. THE WORK DONE BY MIKE WAS A PLUS FROM START TO FINISH.

We contracted the job, I paid half down and he completed the job as advertised on the day he promised. I wasn't there personally but Mike sent pictures via text that showed the completion of the work. I'm satisfied and would recommend him.

It went extremely well. Mike's guys trimmed the tree without incident and thinned and shaped the whole tree. My wife, who was very attached to the tree since she planted it about 30 years ago, was very pleased with the look of and quot;herand quot; tree. :-)

Mike did everything he said he would and accomplished it on time.
