Description of Work: The lack of punctuality was a due to lack of communication. The date and time had been set, but no one showed up. I called 30 minutes after my appointment time and I was told they had finished another job early and tried to call but didn't get an answer. Their policy is to call in advance of showing up so they don't make a wasted trip if no one is home. For whatever reason, I didn't get a call, but when Richard (owner) realized the error he put me back on the schedule, arriving at my house within the hour. Richard was very personable and did an excellent job installing 3 ceiling fans and a smoke detector. I would definitely use Coastal Electrical Svc again.

Description of Work: Replaced a part that prevented proper defrosting. It went well. We did have to call back because the technician had forgotten to plug the ice maker back in when done and we didn't find it until the next morning. They were very accommodating and came back out within a short time to finish up. This did not affect the operation of the refrigerator/freezer and was not a big deal. They have been great.

Description of Work: An electrical outlet in my bathroom stopped working and I had a continuing problem with the outlet fitting into the wall. Coastal Electric arrived precisely on time. The service man was professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue and quickly made the necessary repairs so the outlet works. He also fixed the problem with the outlet in the wall. He worked quickly. I was please with their services and will use them in the future when necessary.

Description of Work: Got estimate to have fpl meter can removed so bad siding could be replaced. I had to delay this work for personal reasons. I would call Coastal in the future for other electrical work I will need done. |

Description of Work: Replaced the garage door opener. He was pleasant and fair priced.

Description of Work: Replaced breaker box and breakers and copper wire from meter to panel. Ran copper wire from panel to air conditioner.

Description of Work: Three or four outlets replaced, a defective GFCI replaced, and a front porch light rewired and put back into place, as well as testing other electrical items in the home.

Description of Work: Replaced fan remote control boxes. Found a bad GFI. Checked circuit breaker panel. Caulked exterior electrical outlet. Did several tests of circuits.

Description of Work: Richard Runge is the owner. He came on time to give me an estiment for my Bathrooms. He sent me the esitmate via e mail. His estimate was fair I thought. When they (he & his son) arrived on time, I requested two additional items to the list. I wanted a new outlet installed in the kitchen & ceiling fan remove & new one install. The original job was remove & move & install two new lighting scones in bath room. Install new wiring for a celing fixture. Install additional dimmer for said celing fixture. Change outlet to a GFI & adddiitional mmer switch Install t hree ceiling fixtures. One in hallway & the other two in the master bathroom. The fixture I chose for the ceiling, in the bathroom, hung too low. I needed to replace it. Richard said he & his son would return to install it when I got a new one. I phoned him the next day to inform him I had purchased it. He came immediately to intall it. Both Richard and his son were so pleasant to have in my home. Very polite and professional! I look forward to Coastal returning to do addtional electrical work in my home in the near furture!
