A great product and a great experience. The cost was in line with the other estimates i got. I like that these are real wood shutters! My neighbors are all very complimentary. Mike and the rest of the team are very professional.

Everything went rather well until the installation. The person that did the install made a mess of our house and also caused damage to furniture, which I repaired myself (they did offer to pay for damages, but I was so frustrated with the person that caused the damage, I didn't trust who they would send back). To note some of the issues I encountered: Screws on floor and in a tub, pieces of cut wood and sawdust in every room (no cleanup), furniture still pulled away from wall, Soaking wet rag left on our carpet, Soaking wet rag was placed and left on new wood furniture we were storing in garage during construction, open paint can of touch up paint left on our granite counter top, garage left a mess as he was apparently working there (open soda can which spilled, sawdust everywhere, garbage left on floor). We also had windowsills made as part of the job and one is broken on the end. I didn't call them for it to be corrected as I am just so disgusted. I waited a day before calling them with my dissatisfaction as I was upset. I called their office and spoke with Amanda who apologized and asked if I wanted to call Mike, who we assumed was the owner. I said that I didn't need to call him to repeat my dissatisfaction. It has been over 1 week and they have not communicated at all with us either via email or phone to even check on our issues. We spent very close to $6500.00, The shutters look nice but the installation and zero followup from the company after having so many issues was no where near what I would have expected.

Smoothly, had ready before my kitchen renovation was completed. They held until I called to schedule delivery.. Delivered & installed when scheduled.Slight flaw in one vane, came back following week to correct. All facets of this experience was done professionally, from the measure & price to they very end. A pleasure to deal with.

What an AMAZING company to work with. Mike came to measure and give me an estimate on what the job would cost. He was honest, fair and extremely professional. Doug was the most incredible installer who exceeded my expectations in every way. He was absolutely unbelievable with the way he managed to install my difficult to get to windows to perfection. Doug magically transformed my home into a showplace and he was First Class in every way. There are many companies making and installing Plantation Shutters but NONE could compare with the positive experience you'll receive working with this company. I know you'll be as thrilled with them as I am.

From the beginning to the end nothing but professionalism! I got estimates and spoke with 5 other companies. None compared to the quality and design of Architectural. They not only matched my paint trim colors, they supplied the trim I used throughout my house and made beautiful sill caps to place over my existing ones. They made a beautiful stained wood shutter with hidden tilt rods for my western exposure aluminum CGI estate impact doors that matched exactly the grain of the doors. Mike Cheney was most professional, courteous and reasonable in all his prices. I would recommend this company without a shadow of a doubt. These are not made in China. They are custom built and it shows!

The initial contact and estimate process was outstanding.At the initial meeting we were given information on the quality and type of shutters as well as the guarantees. The estimate that was provided was detailed, accurate and informative. I did visit their showroom and manufacturing location. The entire organization was professional and responsive.The installation process was accurate and professional. The installer was experienced and professional. He arrived on time, unloaded his tools and equipment and accomplished his installation with ease. Initially we had planned to get another estimate but was so favorably impressed with this company we decided to move forward with them. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Everything turned out great. These were for my office but now I want them at home.

We hired the folks from Architectural Plantation Shutters, Inc., to install plantation shutters on all our windows. We've had plantation shutters installed at a previous home, and the quality, attention to details, and professionalism displayed by these folks was outstanding. They did a fantastic job! From suggesting what type/design of plantation shutters would look better in what room, to designing edge/ledge covers to conceal dated colored marble window ledges that no longer matched the changes/remodeling of our home. All our plantation shutters were custom built to the unique size of each window, they looks beautiful and work perfectly. The price was reasonable/competitive and their warranty cannot be beat. btw, several months after the installation, one of the window shutters was not closing correctly, I called them and they promptly sent one of their craftsman to tweak this minor issue. Their craftsman told us to call them back if we should ever have any other problem with their shutters. Now that's standing behind your product and workmanship!
