Advanced Plumbing

I was told it would be $75 plus materials. I had a small leak coming from a joint in the pipe under my kitchen sink. They were here 15min. Needed a new gasket. They gave me a bill that just had $135 for labor and parts. When I questioned the assistant about how much a gasket costs he didn’t know. The bill wasn’t itemized. The plumber should have given me the bill so he could answer my questions. The leak is fixed but on their website they offer senior citizen discounts. I guess at 75 I don’t qualify. They also charge extra if you use a credit card. I chose them because my sister said they were good and had fair prices. They must’ve changed ownership because I think my charge didn’t warrant the time they were in my house. Won’t recommend unless you don’t care about the cost.

The guy is very good. They were really fair with pricing.

When I called Advanced Plumbing I spoke with Harris who took all my information so that the service man could be prepared with the tools and parts that may be needed. Harris was able to schedule me the same day within a 2 hour period. Wonderful! Soon the service man named Elliot arrived and he was very punctual, professional, thorough, neat and clean with concerns to the respect to our home and his work area. Harris arrived in less than one hour, assessed the problem and fixed it. He was very professional. Had everything he needed in his van and was able to fix this on the spot. Didn't attempt to 'add' on extra's. Would definitely use him again! Can't say enough nice things about him and Advanced. Will definitely use them again but hopefully it will be a planned event.

Both problems were fixed perfectly.

Great. Elliott from Advanced quickly figured out the source, and replaced the leaky bathtub spout and also replaced another old spout.

Not well. Took a flashlight and simply looked at each toilet. When I asked if he would repair toilet for an additional fee he sort of grunted. I told him I had the replacement parts already. He agree to do it. He tore the package open and took out a part he needed. I said why don't you replaced the whole thing since it is a kit so everything would be new. He insisted on just using the one part. I was not happy with the service or the quality of work. He was actually at my house for less than half an hour. I am estimating the month and year. It was with the last two years. I certainly am not planning ever to used them again. I chose the write this review because a couple of days ago a pipe burst in my house. I had a number of services here to remove the water and of course a plumber to fix the pipe. He and his assistant were more than helpful. First they came after hours. The went immediately to the source of the flood and began to inspect and then repair the broke pipe. They were very efficient and helpful.. He brought me the pipe and told me to bag it and to make sure I kept it for insurance purposes. They made sure everything was working and that their was not leaks before leaving. Keeping the broken pipe was an invaluable piece of advice when the insurance adjuster came the next day. That was the first thing he asked for. This company compared to my experience with Advanced Plumbing was night and day. His rates were extremely reasonable compared to what Advanced did and charged.

Advanced were sent to me twice in the last week from my home warranty company for two unrelated claims. I had a leaky shower valve fixed, two leaky outside faucets, a utility tub faucet and valves to the faucet, garbage disposal repaired. They showed up very fast after claims were put in. Work went great and quickly. I will use them for non home warranty items!

The components that he had to put into the toilet didn't match up so he had to leave it. My husband had to tweak it. The tech was nice and honest. Since both toilets' components were new, he left the part with us for later.

Nothing. I purchased an online offer for $100 of toilet work. The vendor didn't respond to in the time that they said they would. I had to send two emails over a week to even get them to respond with a phone number for me to call. Then he said: * That that deal shouldn't have been posted in the first place--it was supposedly only for September but it was still being advertised now * That he doesn't receive any of the money that I used to purchase the special that Angie's list receives it all, which of course is a lie. * The deal if it was still valid wouldn't even basic toilet repair work other than a broken handle--hardly worth the $100 advertised value and that said it would be $120 extra dollars for them to do it.

He fixed one toilet for $25.I trusted him so I also had him check an additional toilet for $128. He was very knowledgeable and efficient.

The provider arrived early (which worked out fine). He checked both bathrooms and proceeded to explain exactly what he found. He advised me that the work did not need to be done right now, but that eventually would have to be done. He did not exert any pressure and was very professional which was why I decided to have him do the work while he was here.

Replaced flapper. Toilet made screeching sound before and after he " fixed it"

The guys are true craftsmen. They take pride in their work and went the extra step in hooking up our appliances. They were clean and neat in the performance of their tasks and very professional. Appointment made quickly. We were contacted the same day we purchased tuneup special on Angie's List. Arrived on time and very professional. Made recommendation to replace a leaking inlet valve which we were expecting. A minor adjustment had to be made to one of the pipes but work was completed within short period of time with no mess. The repair was done in very close quarters. I would definitely recommend this company for plumbing needs. We would use again.

Excellent, I have been using them since I lost my last plumber and nothing in this house is easy. They always show up on time and are very professional. I have not had any problems with them, and I have asked them to crawl in to some small places. I would definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing issues.
