He was great, I had called 3 other companies prior to calling him and none of them could come as soon as I needed them to. I explained to everyone that my daughter has a heart condition and I need to be able to get the car at a moments notice, he told me he would be here within 2 hours and he was. It seemed he put his other job aside knowing the urgent nature of my request, I can't thank him enough.

They were in the neighborhood when we called, so they were at hour house within 10 minutes after the call. The two men were very professional, cordial, and focused. Finished the job in less than 30 minutes. They also greased the door wheels and gave us some good advice. We highly recommend A Garage Door King Inc! A++

Contacted.the provider via Angie's List. He contacted me back on 3/11 said needed my address. I sent it to him and never received a response back. Tried contacting two times and no response.

He's extremely knowledgeable about his product. I called him, and he was here bright and early. He's very congenial, very friendly, and very fair. He knows his craft. He's very quick, and he gets the work done.

For a year, I have been having a problem with a newly installed garage impact door. The installer kept telling me it was the sensors and that I was getting them out of alignment. This went on until the warranty was up and they charged me. I made a call to this provider and they were out the next day to review. There were 3 or 4 things that were quickly corrected and there has not been a problem since. everything was plainly explained to me. TERRIFIC...TERRIFIC

The provider was very professional. He checked the garage door system and relaxed noisy metal rollers with nylon rollers. Now our garage door opens without ear splitting noise! I would hire this company again,

I am so glad we had The Garage Door King install our new hurricane approved garage door. I called the first week of December and the owner Mike came out and gave me an estimate. He didn't try to sell me a garage opener since ours still works, he didn't add extra charges that two other companies I called out did. Mike was straight forward provided me with information on the door. He guaranteed the door would be installed by Christmas which I wanted. After they got the permit and my color of door came in Mike called and asked what day I wanted the installation. The guys showed up and removed the old door and installed the new one. Mike (son) noticed the bolt holding my garage door motor was coming out of the wall which it would have been costly so he secured the bolt saving me a future repair. We will call The Garage Door King when we need any maintenance. It was a pleasure dealing with an honest company.

Where do I begin? What a HAPPY experience. First of all, when I called on a Friday, the first question he asked me was, 'Can you get out of your garage?" He asked that to make sure I didn't need to get out right away to get to work! How thoughtful! I told him I was fine until the next day. He came right on tie as promised and fixed our door without trying to sell us new ones. Not only that, I didn't have enough cash to pay him without breaking a 20 and he ACTUALLY GAVE ME ANOTHER BREAK ON THE BILL SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO BREAK ANY BIG BILLS. He ended up eating an extra five bucks. WOW - you don't find people like that much anymore! Eventually we will need new doors and I can tell you the first place I will call - THE GARAGE DOOR KING! You don't find such honest, caring people much anymore like this company. I would never call anyone but this company from now on. What a terrific experience!

These guys were awesome. Called Mike the owner on Monday night. He answered my call while on personal time with family after hours. He had his son, named Mike also, be at my house the very next day. He quoted me $185 for the job on the phone. He got right to work and banged out the job in less than 1 hour, also replaced for free a faulty wheel and greased the entire door etc. I worked better than ever when he finished, fluid and quiet. When his son finished he mentioned it would only be $135 because I needed just one spring not two. How is that for honest when I was ready to pay the $185. Better yet I made my check out for $185 by mistake. He took the check and told me of my error and that I paid them too much. I would say maybe 1 out of 100 contractors would do that and they are the 1% that were 100% honest. Can't say enough about the top quality work and more importantly top quality character and integrity. Thanks Mike and Mike!

Charged a flat rate to come out and replace springs. Other companies said price would vary once they arrived at the home and examined the springs. Appointment was easy to schedule and worker arrived promptly. Door working fine for 2 weeks now.

I had contacted another company to replace one of the garage door springs which had broken. They told me it would cost around $250.00 + $35 for the service call. This was the quote for just one spring and they to;d me it could be higher depending on the type of spring needed. When I contacted Mike, he immediately gave me a quote that left me in shock. For the two springs (regardless of the type) he would honor the price shown in Angie's List: $195.00 (no service call charges, taxes included). I made the appointment and the next morning Mike was there on time and did the work to my satisfaction. Mike is an excellent person, both at the personal and professional level. I would recommend him without a doubt.

Arrived on time and completed the repair quickly. Made recommendations but never tried to sell me anything (which I really appreciate since I hate salesmen). Great price compared to other quotes I received. Will use again and recommend the company!

Everything turned out well. The company got back to me rather quickly, the technician showed on time, and the work was done as specified in the deal. The garage door is working fine, too.

6:am could not open garage door due to broken springs(cause-worn out 15 yrs old). 6:45am Called A Garage Door King and spoke with Mike. Good news - Mike Homan (owner) recognized the problem of my car being locked inside. Doors with broken springs cannot be raised by hand! Within an hour, Mike arrived and replaced the broken springs with new springs in a little over an hour. Mike also recognized a code violation (a safety issue) incurred by a previous installer of the lift motor. This was a safety issue wherein the light sensors were improperly installed and the sensitivity adjustment had been defeated. Mike, later sent his son over to fix the safety problem. There was an additional charge for this service, but was very reasonable and professionally done.The Door King guys are winners based on my recent experience. No nonsense, No hassle, No surprises. Just friendly, quick to response professionals. I am certain that this father/son team who resolved my door problems will satisfy many other customers.
