Garage doors would not roll up without excessive effort and would roll back down if not held in place by garage door opener. Michael arrived and immediately inspected the doors and suggested a simple spring adjustment would resolve the matter rather than replacing the springs. He grabbed his tools and adjusted my 2 car and 1 car garage door springs to the appropriate tension. He also applied lubricant to all the necessary moving parts and performed an overall inspection to ensure everything was operating as intended. My in laws also utilized his service for their garage door which required a replacement spring. They took advantage of his coupon offer. Both of us had a very positive experience and would highly recommend his services to anyone in need of any type of garage door services.

Mike came out next day to give me a quote. He obtained the permits and ordered the doors. When they arrived from the company, Amarr (which took approx. 4 weeks) he installed it in one day (approx. 4hours). He did a wonderful job and was extremely easy to work with. My husband and I are so pleased with the doors- they look beautiful and boy, what a difference from. the all white ones we replaced. Mike is such a pleasure to work it. He knows his stuff. I highly recommend him.

Mike is a very experienced garage door professional. He was quick and on point. (We called him on sunday evening and was able to get an appointment for monday morning) Would definitely use him again.

Mike called me back promptly and scheduled my appointment for the next day. He was very communicative and called my cell phone to let me know when he would arrive. He did a full inspection on the recently installed doors and checked their operation fully and for safety. He gave me a report verifying everything was operating properly. He was very professional and a gentleman. He did not charge me for the inspection.

It went okay, but I just believe that $75 for five minutes of work is a little excessive. Update 4-21-16: The techs changed the position of the lens at the base of the door, which must have moved while the garage was being swept. The adjustment took less than five minutes, and involved no tools. I was charged $75 for less than 5 minutes of work. I thought it was unreasonable, and I contacted Angie's List, but they didn't do anything. I was misled by Angie's List, and taken advantage of by this vendor . Don't make the same mistake that I made, and call someone else instead.

I called Michael first thing in the morning, a spring broke and I explained that the door was open and I didn't know how to close it. He came right over and showed me how to close and open the door manually, he had to order the replacement springs. He called me several times to reassure me that he did not forget me and it was taking a little why to get the springs. Michael went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and he is so appreciated by me for what he did.

I would not lie about anyone. I have nothing else to say.

The spring on my hurricane proof garage door broke on a Saturday evening. The door was so heavy four men could not open it. On Sunday morning I called Garage Door King. Within two hours Mike Homan came over and replaced the springs. To say Mike did a good job is an understatement Mike did a GREAT job! I don't usually write reviews but I was so pleased and impressed with Mike that I promised that I would write a review.

Serviceman showed up within an hour of my call. He was thorough and very courteous. Identified the problem, fixed it, explained what he did and cleaned up after he was done. Great service at a fair price and will use again when I replace my door.

Unbelievably great!!! Called at 730, here by 1030, done by 1130...clean, professional, responsive, knowledgeable, reasonable price. Doesn't get any better.

Spoke to Mike on Sunday. Left a message expecting to hear back on Monday. He called me back on Sunday about half an hour after I called him. He explained to me in detail about either replacing the motor or putting in a new opener. Explained to me the cost and let me decide what was best for me. The following day he was here by 12 to installed the new opener. He was personable, knowledge, and a pleasure. He explained everything and made sure he showed me how to work everything. It took him about an hour to install the new opener. I highly recommend him.

Late Saturday afternoon a spring torsion spring on the garage snapped in two. I sent a message to Garage King through Angie's List and got a call back almost immediately. Mike, the owner, said he could have someone out on Sunday, but if I could wait until Monday I could avoid a Sunday surcharge. On Monday morning Mike arrived on time, checked what needed to be done, explained it to me and got to work. Within an hour I had a new pair of torsion springs on my garage. I would recommend this company due to their responsiveness and professionalism.

Called him when my garage door wouldn't go down. Got him at home on a Saturday. He advised me to check to make sure nothing was in the way of the sensors. Sure enough, where was a small piece of wood on the ground under a sensor. Removed it and door closed. Very appreciative of his personal and free advice.

This company did a great job replacing the springs on my garage door. Extremely professional and did an excellent job. I would definitely use this company for further projects.

It was fine; no problem. They were a little hard with the scheduling. The quality was good. They did the job and he was a really nice guy. The only complaint I had was it was very hard scheduling. When they said they'd come, they didn't. They were professional when they were here. I think he changed it twice and I had to yell at him.

Could not be happier with this company. They worked around our crazy schedule. When they first came out to check on the garage door they did it on a Saturday afternoon, making sure we had time to go to our grandson's baseball game first (just like they show on commercials). We were given clear options: 1. Fix a 16 year old opener that could last a week or could last 2 years for $150 2. Put in a new unit for $360. There was no pressure to buy a new unit, we did so because it made sense. Very easy company to deal with. Personal service and just plain nice people.

I called at 9.30 and within a few hours Mike was here to replace the broken springs. He was prompt and professional. He also oiled all parts of the garage system to make it work smoothly and quietly. I could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend them. The price was fair and less then someone else I checked.

It went very well, and they are honest members of this company. I wanted to pay them for their help, even if it was for just a short time and for such an easy fix that I should have been able to do. The day of the appointment, I had been running around at work and did not have cash. My credit card was all I had on me, and there was no card scanner, so I was unable to give even a small amount. However, if there are any issues that come with my garage, or any one else's garage that I know, I will recommend this company to them in a heartbeat.

He inspected all door parts and checked tension of door. Turned out to be a simple problem requiring simple lubrication. He did not require any payment since he does offer free estimates. He gave me an Honest and fair assessment of problem. Told me what to do moving forward to keep problem from recurring. For his prompt, quick, and honest help with my problem On a holiday weekend, I pro-offered $50 for his help. Great guy, will use again if needed and refer him to all I know.

Mike, is an A+ professional garage door repairman. Called late Friday night for repair, arrived early Saturday morning & fixed problem in 10 minutes! Very friendly, courteous, answered questions and gave maintenance tips too. Would definitely call again or refer for services.
