I was under a time crunch to install a new garage door as the old one was made of wood and was rotting through and I was selling the house. When I called Mike, he explained his product and how and when it would be installed. He came by and measured for the new door. I trusted him from the start and signed the contract. He explained the permit process and advised that he would promptly apply and then be ready to install the door the day the permit was approved - and he did! I met my deadline, the door was installed by his two very talented sons in two hours time! It has received compliments from the neighbors on it's beauty and obvious strength! I will have Mike install one at my new house in the near future!

There were no issues with scheduling and they came at time we agreed upon. They spent about an hour and half on the job and everything went smoothly. The deal was fine.

They arrived on time and gave me a quote for a new door. The price was in the ball park and the service was great. They came back to install the door, after they received the permit from the City. They have all the proper insurance and that's very important to me. They did it by the book and the old door came off, they removed it and hauled it away. We are now awaiting the Inspector to review the job. As a retired Iinspector, the job looks fine to me but, will be waiting for the offical inspection by the City. Overall, they are a great Company to do business with, the Customer is very important to them and unlike a Company like Florida Screen Builders, they stand behind their work and make sure the Customer

garage door works better; very nice individual

My garage door had been broken for about 4 months. The whole mechanism had been screwed up by age and other things put into the garage carelessly. Mike came in, saw what the problems were and in about 1-1/2 hours had the door working perfectly and smoothly. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to hire a very honest and competent garage door tech.

They were here before 2 hours and had the job done before supper. Everything about them was professional.

He came out and he sprayed the springs in the garage door. I was surprised that for $50 that was all that was included. It would have been nice if he would have reduced the price or given a discount since that was all he had to do to my garage door.

The team of two men were very professional and knowledgeable. The installation was done in a short time and greatly improved our garage door functioning safer and quieter. After they left I noticed they provided only one garage door opener. I called up the owner and he brought over an additional door opener that was better than the standard type for one door but gave me one with two buttons to open two different garage doors at no extra cost. I really appreciated this and recommend this company not only because they know what they are doing but go the extra mile to please their customers.

I had called another garage door company before this and they wanted to charge over $500 just to install springs, and they misplaced the clevis pin. I then called Garage Door Kings after going through Angie's list reviews. Garage Door Kings came in and knew what had to be done right away. Very knowledgeable and courteous guys. After they installed the springs, I informed them about a missing pin. They went out of their ways to find the pin since it is not easily available. They came in again the took care of the pin issue. I'll recommend them to my friends and family.

The service was fine. He was pleasant and did a god job. I was happy with the service.

Everything turned out well. The gentleman arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and did the work as specified. Furthermore, he did a good job because the garage door is working much better.

A Garage Door King did a great job and I am very satisfied. Setting up the appointment was easy and I spoke to Mike, the person in charge I believe. At the time agreed upon Mike's son (Mike #2) showed up and completed all the work in a short period of time. Mike #2 was a very pleasant guy and was knowledgable of garage door systems. The price we agreed upon was held to. They agreed to install a large piece of weather stripping as part of the price.. That was good. All in all it was a pleasant, non-stressful experience I was very satisfied with their service and if I have any problems with garage door systems in the future I would call them. I am sure if I have any questions or something doesn't work they will answer my quiestions or come out here to fix it. I am confident of that. A+ service.

Another great service from Garage King. They installed a Liftmaster for us a few months ago and it broke- through no fault of ours or theirs, it was the machine. They came out this morning and installed a new machine at no cost. Great, friendly service. We did give $25 for the service, even though it was free. But we felt it was good karma for their time spent in the job.

They changed out the springs on my 20 year old garage door. All went well. It was the Angie's List big deal.

It went excellent. I think he went above and beyond the service. He came right away and got things fixed.

I purchased the spring replacement service through Angie's list and received a phone call the next day to set up an appointment. I set up the appointment for the following afternoon and he showed up at the approximate time and even called me from his prior job to give me a better estimate of his arrival time. The repair went quickly and my garage door was back in service.

At 7:30 AM this morning (Saturday) my garage door would not open The opener would start / try but the door was jammed and both cars were stuck in the garage. After checking the 'electric eye' safety sensors I tried unlatching the door so I could lift if manually but it would not budge. After consulting Angie's List I called The Garage Door King and here I am less than 3 hours later and my door is fixed. The Garage Door King service rep was here about an hour after I called and saw the problem as soon as he walked in the garage. About an hour later it was fixed, adjusted, freshly lubricated and working very smoothly. All I can say is how could I be happier with the service - it was prompt, efficient and professionally done in a matter of hours. EXCELLENT!

My garage door would not open. One of the two torsion springs was broken. I called Mike around 8:30am. His son, Mike, replaced both springs by 11:30am. Very professional and knowledgable.

Replaced all garage door rollers, and performed a tune up

scheduling problems with me and the provider caused us to reschedule numerous times. They were late for the appointment but did call to say they would be late. Seemed like nice people.

He was very accomodating with the schedule, making time quickly to be in the area and service the door. I felt he was very honest, did the work requested (as well as fixed mistake of another person), and didn't try to sell anything else for repairing. If there was something else to repair, I believe he would have honestly mentioned so. I can state that because we had another property close by which I thought it might be best for him to look at those garage doors as well . . he kindly did, didn't see any issues or maintenance needs at that time, and didn't charge any addt'l for this consultation. When I do need service, I know whom to contact. I just feel bad it's taken me this long to write a review as been overwhelmed with a few projects. But to those of you looking now, letting you know I believe you can trust the service you'll be provided.
