Description of Work: Our dryer was not drying and we had ordered a new dryer but were having the vent cleaned prior to installation. Greg said to hold off on the new dryer as the cleaning may solve our problem. It did and we saved $800 by not needing a new dryer and may have saved more by preventing a possible fire in the dryer or vent.

Description of Work: Cleaned a very dirty dryer vent that was way overdue. Had to go up on the roof to clean lint that had become caked onto the vent. Also replaced the metal vent hose, which was suggested to upgrade to a better quality hose to prevent problems in the future.

Description of Work: Greg cleaned my dryer vent. He had to go up on a ladder, since my vent is on the roof. He also replaced the cheap builder grade of dryer vent hosing. I opted to purchase a device that will notify me of a clog in the venting, do that I can have the issue resolved and prevent trouble, such as a fire. I am very satisfied with the work. Two of my neighbors also used this company, but they don't belong to Angies's list. They are also satisfied customers.

Description of Work: Cleaned clothes dryer vent and replaced part of it with better quality one. Prior to this the tenant using the dryer was complaining of the clothes not drying properly. After the fix they still complained. The contractor explained they were probably loading the dryer too heavy resulting in the colthes not tumbling properly. We tried that and it worked okay. Good job befor and great follow up.

Description of Work: In addition to dryer vent cleaning, he told us the original venting system had been incorrectly installed using the wrong size hose. It could have been a serious problem. He replaced that for us that same appointment.

Description of Work: We knew there was a problem with our dryer vent so we bought Green Home's deal on Angie's List. Greg Clark did a thorough inspection. His conclusion: the vent was very old and poorly constructed and was pumping hot air and lint into the unfinished attic rather than outside !! Greg expertly installed a new vent and arranged for a roofer to install the vent cap in the roof.

Description of Work: Greg was professional, courteous and capable. We bought a new home and our dryer and system needed some work. He serviced the roof vent and damper which required attention. He took time to explain various features and options and also issues that could occur. He was meticulous with his work and also installed a device to monitor dryer vent performance and detect problems. I thought the price was very fair as he did extensive work, some of it on the roof.

Description of Work: Greg is a tradesman who knows how to fix things and make them work as intended. I don't know how long it had been since the dryer vent was cleaned. It sometimes took 2-3 hours for heavier things such as towels to dry. He arrived at 11:00 am and after assessing the situation, immediately started to work. The dryer vent went through the second floor and the dryer on the second floor shared some part of the vent. Looking in his vacuum when he finished, he had 6 inches of lint. Once he finished the vent, he started work on the dryer, removing all the built-up lint in the dryer, cleaning behind and through the dryer. He sold me a Lint Alert Dryer Safety Alarm which he installed, to prevent such a build-up from occurring again, which was included in the above price. He finished shortly after 2 pm.
