+ -1 moreIt was a more than satisfying experience. Gene Raffa treated us like we were his family, stopping to explain every detail, guiding us and informing us as first time home buyers. It is obvious that he cares about his clients and their well being. He also recommended a handy man, painter, and roofer that were very reasonable in cost. He phoned them in front of us and asked that they give us a fair and reasonable price and excellent service as we were first time buyers. We are so comfortable with him and his wife who helps run his business that we will be inviting them to our housewarming and any gathering we have on our deck at our new home. He is now family!
Description of Work: The service included a full inspection including termites. Gene Raffa from Before You Buy Real Estate inspections had termite professionals inspect the property and give recommendations/free estimates for service and maintenance. Gene Raffa also took numerous amounts of photographs and added detailed descriptions next to each one in a detailed professional report that he e-mailed within hours. On very short notice, he came for the re-inspection of the water pump and bathrooms the afternoon before Thanksgiving. He took advantage of the inclement weather (heavy rain) and took another opportunity to re-inspect the attic and ceilings ensuring that there weren't any leaks. We made the appointment at literally the last minute (the afternoon before) and Gene Raffa organized his schedule to accomodate us. He conducted a thorough inspection that included digital photos with descriptors. The report also included a detailed summary that both our lender and the listing agent found helpful and useful. Not only did Gene Raffa bend over backwards to assist us, he also took time to contact a termite management company, septic tank drainage company, and water pump company to obtain estimates for service.
