The job went as proposed. Very professional and friendly service. The crew showed up on time and very quickly completed the task. The yard was cleaned thoroughly. We are very happy with the service. The tree looks great.

Nick and his team showed up on time. Nick walked through his explanation of what they would be trimming. They worked all day and cleaned up really well. (Even cleaned a couple of piles I had left in the driveway!) I was very impressed that they trimmed with the health of the tree as the most important. There was a thunderstorm at the end of the day and there were some areas above our citrus trees which we wanted thinned out, which they did not get to. Nick and his team came back a few days later to complete the work and ensure we were satisfied. We were very satisfied with the professionalism and thoroughness of the provider and will be calling them back when we start trimming the back yard.

This job was a little tricky due to the removed tree being very close to utility lines and the trimmed tree being intermingled with the neighbor's trees. Nick and his crew did a great job -- they showed up on time and did exactly what was communicated up front. Afterward, they hauled away all the mess and cleaned up the yard nicely. I'd definitely would use them again.

This is the first review I have ever written for a service, so pardon the length. I have been remodeling my house and needed some inconveniently located hedges and shrubs removed before the house could be painted. I called Tree Service Express after reading several positive reviews on Angie's List and was happy to speak with an actual human being when I called. Nick came to my home early in the evening the same day and we discussed the work I wanted to have done. Timing was important to me as I was scheduled to have my home painted within two-three weeks of our initial meeting. I arranged to have the work completed one week after we spoke. I asked to be called when Nick and his crew were on the way to my home so I could meet them there. I arrived to find five guys working all over the property, each tackling a different area of concern. The ixora hedge stumps had to be removed via pick axe since they had been leveled to the ground about a month previously in order to accommodate stucco work. I had expressed concern that the new stucco work not be damaged and they were very careful and thorough in removing what remained of the hedges. One other area of concern was a small palm tree (roughly 6-7') that was growing from the corner/foundation of the house - the removal of which would also threaten the new stucco work. They did an excellent job of leveling the tree to the point that the stucco and painting could be finished. In a perfect world, the tree and shrub removal would have occurred prior to stucco work and painting; however, circumstances did not allow things to happen in that order. These guys worked so hard to get the results I wanted that they broke a pick axe on my ixora stumps and ruined a chainsaw blade one of the palm trees that had pieces of stucco all through it. As long as they were there, I decided to have them remove an extra (small) palm tree and some shrubs in the front of the house and Nick was generous enough to do so at no additional cost. Upon completion of the job, they cleaned up as much as they could, made a trip to the dump and then came back and cleaned up the rest within an hour. Tree Service Express is a very efficient and professional operation and I was very impressed with them and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and co-workers.

We called Tree Service Express because of the great reviews on Angie's List and the attention to detail on their website. We wanted an experienced arborist because we had a large pine that needed to be removed and we were concerned about the health of several of our other trees, especially a maple and some oaks that were way overdue for trimming. Nick came out and surveyed the job and made several recommendations. He is a well-trained arborist who knows how to trim a tree properly so that it maintains its integrity. He explained how the trimming would be done and identified several examples so we understood the process. He confirmed for us that the maple was unhealthy and would be unsafe in a storm. Without any pressure, he gave us several options so we could make a decision about what to do with it. He also explained his philosophy that ?green is good? on a tree and assured us that he would NOT leave our trees damaged or unhealthy. We agreed to a price and scheduled the job. Nick and his crew arrived punctually and got right to work. They were well-equipped with all the tools and gear they needed to do an effective job without causing any incidental damage. They were careful, thorough, completely cleaned up when finished, hauled away all the debris and ground the stumps. We can't say enough about how professional the crew was; they even worked in the rain! We weren't afraid to let our children watch from the window as the crew worked. Nick identified another tree that needed trimming as the crew was packing up. The crew returned the next day to do the work, for no extra charge. Tree Service Express is superior to all other tree services we've used in the past. You can see that they care about their work, the trees and their customers. While the price may seem high at first, the outstanding crew, service and peace-of-mind are well worth the price. We cannot recommend Tree Service Express highly enough. Had Nick come out and evaluate the ficus tree next to the house that was getting too large, with the roots threatening the foundation. He determined it had to be removed to avoid any damage and quoted a fair price for the massive amount of work it would take. He and his team showed up on time and got right to work. The project was complicated by narrow quarters and power lines, but they had the equipment and expertise to cope with the problems. The job took all day, but considering what was involved, it was very expeditiously, professionally, and most of all safely, done. They ground out the stump and roots to the extent they could and cleaned up neatly after themselves. During the course of the removal, they noticed our power service line was badly corroded, and brought it to our attention. FPL came out and replaced the service line as soon as Nick and his team were through, so we got a bonus of safer electrical service. These guys are the best tree service people we've found in the area, bar none. Nick is very knowledgeable of his craft, and as a certified arborist, is well worth the price. We have looked for a real tree service here for 15 years, and you mostly get hacks that come out and chop up your trees and tear up your property. They may cost less, but you get what you pay for.

I contacted Nick with Tree Service Express. He stopped by to provide an estimate when he said he would. The price he offered was extremely competitive. We scheduled a time in the morning the next day. As promised, he showed up on time. Nick and his team were very efficient and were done in short time, which is just what I was hoping for. If I ever have a need for tree service in the near future, I will definitely call Tree Service Express! I highly recommend anyone looking for tree service to definitely give them a call.

The process went very smoothly. The owner was present the whole time, supervising and working with 3 men. All were professional. He was willing to talk with me intermittently as the work was done I appreciated that, since I had such an assortment of things that needed done. Their tree removal and trimming was precise and careful. After the stump grinding, the areas were level. All the debris was picked up and hauled away. I was very pleased at the end result. Everything looked so much better. I would definitely hire them again.

We got them on Angie's List. At first they gave us a quote of $950 and then they gave us some discounts. The discounts brought it down to $700 but that was still a whole lot more than what the other service provider was asking for. They were pricey because they have liability insurance and workman's compensation for their workers which the other service providers didn't have. They were very professional, prompt and responsive. We didn't choose them because the other service provider was a lot cheaper.

The job they did was terrific. The tree looks wonderful and they did a great job cleaning up. I had Teri come out to give an estimate on trimming the oak and 9 queen palms. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable and passionate Teri was about doing the job correctly. This was ultimately why I chose them to do the work. Because of their excellent insurance and background they are quite a bit more expensive (more than double the cost to trim palm trees ) than other local companies though and I couldn't swing he money to do the palm trees also. My complaints were communication complaints, when the appointment for the estimate came, no one called and no one showed up; Teri and I discussed it and she apologized and came out when we next available, also when the guys were done with the job they just left...I was home and ready to give cash but when I looked outside everyone was gone. That evening and the following Monday (since the job was done on a Friday) I got a sort of snotty message regarding when and how I was going to pay. All in all I was pleased with their work and wish we could have had them do the palm trees too if it had been in our budget.

Nick had his crew well trained. I am VERY impressed with their work. Will definitely use again if I need tree work done. They were very caring of my property and the swing out back. Cleaned up and were quite friendly and professional. A squirrels nest was in one tree and Nick called a squirrel rescue in Ft. Pierce to come and get the babies / nest because a mom will not come back to them once it has been disrupted. I was so impressed bu we were all sad watching the mom all day. Very intelligent and caring owner.

Teri was very professional and thorough when she showed up to give the estimate. I explained what I was looking for in regards to trimming a large oak tree and removing a bird of paradise tree. The oak tree needed significant trimming, removing one very large branch and a few minor branches. They showed up and did their work quickly and were very thorough in cleaning up after themselves, even cleaning some yard waste I had in the yard from some other trimming I did myself. They are definitely the most professional tree trimming service I've encountered in Brevard county.

I found this company on Angie's List and it was excellent. They were great, conscientious and wonderful. They did a great job. Initially I was going to have them do one thing and then asked them to do other things. I highly recommend them.

I had other palms with a different fungus, and TSE promised to get back with a treatment recommendation. Never heard from them again. They seem to be more a tree removal service than true arborists regardless of license. In my experience, arborists try to save trees, not chop them down. I can get a palm pulled for half what TSE charges, but I felt they deserved something for the diagnostic visit and the same-day removal.

They called on Monday and asked if they could start a day early because they had finished a previous job sooner than they expected. We were told that they wouldn't have enough time to preform all work but would finish Tuesday as they originally quoted. We were pleasantly surprised at how well they cleaned up all debris and the way they left our yard. We are very satisfied with all work preformed.

Removed an oak tree and all debris to include stump grinding. Teri - representative, very responsive, but workers were somewhat slightly inconsiderate of blocking street with equipment etc. Overall, excellent service and would use again.

The guys were prompt, removed and hauled away the tree, and their cleanup was exceptional. The price was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

The service and crew were excellent. They were the weekend. They were very polite and cordial. Fast, efficient and cordial. The clean-up was impeccable. The of the trees had a nest with baby squirrels that the mother wouldn't take back. Nick, the owner, called a squirrel rescue to come and get them. Very pleased!

Nick and his crew were on time, quite amiable. Asked if I minded weekend work, which I didn't. They took down tw o pa on trees a nd two full grown pine trees t hat were sick. The crew is a well oiled machine. Trees come do w n, get cut smaller, moved to front, part of yard cleaned well, move on t o next tree. In front yard, crew loading tree onto truck. It is a constant sense of movement...I was quite impressed with it. They cleaned up after themselves a nd were gone. Would definitely hire again....

After being educated by Teri and Nick in general, we decided to remove a large oak that was very close to our house. We learned from Nick that the tree had many problems and was not healthy, actually posing a hazzard. We knew the proxmity to the house was a problem; however, we learned that it was more urgent that we had realized. Knowing that the tree was unhealthy (Nick pointed out many details of which we were ignorant previously, taking a lot of time) it was easier to make the difficult decision. All work was done carefully and methodically. A thorough clean up was performed after work (both days) and we were able to schedule the work conveniently. There was fencing on both sides of the oak tree that was removed that made the job much more difficult and great care was taken during the removal. We were very pleased to have the expertise and professionalism of Tree Service Express and would definitely recommend them.

Terri Graham came out for the evaluation and quote. All of our Oaks and maples needed a professional thinning out because in the past we used fly by night contractors that drove around our neighborhood looking for work. Those people were uninsured, unliscences and butchered our trees. However, it was apparent after initial visit from Terri that we found a quality contractor. At first we had contiplated cutting down one of our older oaks. Terri explained her responsibilities to advise us that the tree posed a hazard to our house due to its proximity closeness to our home and the fact there appears to be tree rot approximately 3ft from the ground up, but we decided not to cut it down and see if it could recover from this fungal growth. The tree was thinned out substantially to reduce the hazard if it did indeed fall towards our house. The other remaining trees were thinned out and the crew was professional and left no evidence of being there. I know feel better prepared for this years hurrican season. We love our trees and we feel Terri and the rest of the crew did an excellent job on them. Price was reasonable considering the level of danger climbing up into these tall oaks. No damage occured to any of our structures.

Tree Service Express had come to give an estimate for the removal of a large oak tree that was in close proximity to my house and side yard with fence, also to grind the stump and removal of debris. The crew showed up on the scheduled date and immediately began the process of removal; the crew consisted of 3 men, 1 climber & 2 ground crew. The climber had more than 20 years of experience. It was amazing how accurate the climber was able to place the limbs and trunks with precision and never hit the house or fence in any way. Meanwhile as limbs and debris were falling the ground crew immediately picked up and hauled the debris away to an awaiting truck. From start to finish they were professionals. In my estimation I would definitely recommend Tree Service Express for any future projects, they were courteous, knowledgeable and professional in every phase of the job.
