Tree Service Express

Nick was right on schedule in arriving to give me an estimate. He explained in detail how they would do the job and he gave me a reasonable estimate that was considerably below others I had received. He said they could do the job the next day and they would have several vehicles and 4 men to do the work. The next morning they arrived on time and Nick explained what he wanted them to do in detail. With the 4 of them working, it took them about 3 hours to climb the oaks and clear out the unneeded branches on the interior of the trees and those that were beginning to get close to the roof of the house. The trees looked great when finished including the palm. One of the workers showed me what they had done and wanted to know if it looked OK to me. They had cleaned up all debris and they were very courteous and polite. I would recommend this business without reservation to others for a thorough, professional, and reasonably priced job.

The tree trimming and pepper tree cut-back went extremely well. The job was done exactly as specified and completed within the time estimated. The trees look great and the pepper tree branches were aggressively cut back, which really opened up the yard. Teri gave me a good price along with recommendations, and was very informative on the conditions of my trees. Teri and the crew were both punctual and professional. I would highly recommend Tree Service Express.

Nick runs his business like a well oiled machine. He is prompt, professional, focused on customer service, detail oriented and extremely knowledgeable about his trade. He carries all the right insurance and has a vast selection of top notch, well cared for heavy equipment to handle any size or type of job. His crew is top notch. They work hard and with great knowledge of their craft. It is clear that they have a strong leader in Nick and that they have a great respect for him. Teamwork at it's finest. I found doing business with Nick to be SO refreshing in a day and time when a well run organization focused on customer service and satisfaction is typically hard to come by. He restored my faith that there are still honest, intelligent, hard working business owners out there. This was a really big, time consuming job with a crew that varied from 3 - 7 crew members throughout the course of the job which lasted roughly 4-5 hours. They were meticulous in their work and focused on safety and preservation of the surrounding area. It was an amazing effort to watch. The clean up was the best I've ever seen bar none. Back to that word meticulous again. They filled the massive hole left by the tree and its root system and leveled the yard. They cleaned the whole yard and the street thoroughly with not so much as one leaf left. Tree Service Express has a lifetime customer in me. I highly recommend them. Nick and his crew are phenomenal!

Estimate and evaluation with their Arborist what trees needed trimming. The work was done efficiently and professionally. When the work was completed, you would have never know they were there because the clean up was thorough.

As in a prior experience of using this company, they did a tremendous job of tackling what was a particularly complicated and challenging project. The service is professional and fairly priced, definitely a cut above the run-of-the-mill tree-trimming service.

They were very professional. the crew was very friendly. Safety was a big priority. They were very accommodating. I have a very difficult piece of property to maneuver . They were very considerate and courteous. The yard was cleaned up nicely afterward.

Really well. Another company quoted me $950 to do the job, saying it was a $1400 job. These guys quoted me their best price of $700. These people are professional! 5 workers spent almost 3 hours on the job. They operated like a efficient team. The surface of the stump left behind looked as smooth as a table top! Most impressive? There was ZERO evidence in the front median that they had been there. I mean, I saw no sawdust, no pieces of wood, twigs, nothing! Unheard of for a tree removal. I will use them again. 100% satisfied and impressed with this company.

One of the co-owners, Teri Grahm, came out with a professional crew of 4, wearing hardhats and bringing 3 large pieces of equipment, including one bucket lift which could reach my Bismarckia from the street. This is the best tree service I have ever observed and I have lived in Florida for 10 years. They know how to prune so that each tree will grow back fuller and with more fruit. They advise on how to care for your trees, such as with an ounce of organic Neem Oil per gallon of water in the spray container as the best maintenance tool for all the fruit trees as well as my other colorful plants such as the beautiful Crotons. I already knew about the Neem oil but I was pleased they did too. Their clean-up was meticulous, including gathering up hundreds of Bismarkia seeds/flowers as they call them. If you want 2 guys with a chain saw and clippers and no workers comp and no overhead, yes you can save money but your trees will get messed up and you can pick up the huge mess they leave behind. And when one gets hurt on your property, you can support that person for the rest of your life. No workers comp and no exemption certificate and no insurance means just that. I like everything done the right way and so I am glad to pay more than the 2 guys and a chain-saw would charge. I will add some photos later.

Came to do job as scheduled. Did a great job cleaning up trees and hauled away the debris. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely have them back in the future.

I called Tree Service Express to get a quote on moving my new trees. They called me back and explained that they do not offer that service. They suggested I call a landscaping company and gave me a few suggestions. They also gave me some good suggestions on when to move the tree, how to prepare the site for the tree, and how to stake it. I also asked them about some alternatives if I wanted to replace the tree. They gave me a lot of different options and the pros and cons of each option. They didn't perform any work for me, but they gave me a lot of good info that will be valuable in the future.

Bottom line, you should get estimates from the rest but definitely hire the BEST! I always get a minimum of 3 -4 estimates whenever I undertake any contracted job for the following reasons: to meet the person representing the company, to ask questions and get honest opinions, and of course the best value based on scope of work and if the company is licensed and completely insured (liability and workman's compensation). I would never allow anyone on my property, especially when it comes to work such as tree removal, without that protection for the homeowner. Tree removal is a dangerous job and having a company without that umbrella of protection would be foolish, in my opinion. Based upon the estimates received, I went with Tree Service Express. Teri Graham came out to give me the initial no pressure evaluation and a written estimate on the spot. Teri is also an ISA Certified Arborist, as is Nick Rocco (the owner of the company). That was very important to me! My husband wasn't available to meet with Teri at the time of the evaluation but she had no issues with meeting us both a second time to review exactly what was going to be done and when. Of the 3 companies contacted to provide estimates, only Tree Service Express had the proper credentials as an ISA Certified Arborist; one said "he used to be one", even though he still advertised as such. The job went above and beyond my expectations! We were able to coordinate and schedule the work around the unpredictable weather that week and the work was completed in a timely manner. Tree Service Expres came in with the right equipment to do the job (they did not subcontract any of the work ~ they own their own equipment), laid plywood on the lawn, as needed, to protect the grass, and all of their employees were dressed in company shirts and hard hats. The large oak came down with no damage to neighboring bushes or trees, everything was hauled off and the yard was raked up. Nick, the owner, was at the job throughout the entire job and Teri came a couple of times as well to make sure everything was going as planned to see if I had any concerns. Professional crew, professional job! After the tree was cut down, the rot was evident in the stump ~ it was soft and mushy in the center and that gave me peace of mind that I would not have the worry if this tree (that was very close to my home) would eventually fail and cause extensive damage to my home. Teri Graham did her job as a professional arborist which gave me comfort in knowing that I made the right decision moving forward with the removal of the tree. Of the three estimates received: Tree Service Express was the company with the most integrity and gave an honest assessment of the potential hazardous situation that the water oak posed to my property. A second company said that the tree "was healthy" and that they could just trim a few branches that were growing over the house; the third company wanted to come in and "hat rack" the tree and promised it would "regrow" healthy green branches within a year or two. Without going into what "hat racking' is, look it up for yourself. It's basically a mutilation of a tree and should never ever be done on an oak tree. If you are on the fence in picking a tree company and want an honest review, this is about as honest as it gets. Thanks again Teri, Nick and the entire crew of Tree Service Express! You performed the scope of work that you were contracted to do and more :)

They were right on time. Confirmed what we're going to do and got right to work. They were efficient, friendly, cost effective and did one heck of a job. The oaks were right up against a cottage and a fence. One of the palms was right up against the same fence that belongs to the neighbors. The crew was amazing to watch as they carefully carved and guided limbs away to safety. Highly recommend the company for all their attributes. They are well equipped to handle any size job.

They removed all the limbs and raked the yard and you could not believe how clean the yard looked when they finished. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

He did a very good job. He was very prompt. He cleaned up after himself. His crew was also very nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

Tree Service Express was fantastic!! A very nice lady (my hubby didn't mention her name to me) came out and evaluated our two large oak trees. Was able to tell us what had killed the one (mistletoe...go figure!). She showed my husband all their licenses and credentials and gave us a quote of $800 to trim the one live oak and remove the dead one. One week later we had two very nice and professional gentlement come and remove the dead oak and trim the live one. They wound up being there past dark but stayed to make sure every last bit was cleaned up. They even cleaned off the dead branches off our roof! An amazing and profession job. I would highly recommend them to anyone and when the other oak eventually dies, we will be calling them for the removal.

I received a detailed email quote which included a sketch of the trees and a reference to each tree, detailing the scope of work that would be peformed. Also included with the quote was reference to the business license, proof of Workman's Compensation and GL Insurance. Tree Service Express arrived on time for the scheduled tree work. I met Nick Rocco who explained the tree work in detail prior to starting with his team and also welcomed any questions or concerns about the job. His professional team worked throughout the day to complete the job. As a result, the tree work was "oustanding" and really made a huge difference in the appearence of my house. His crew also performed a commendable clean up job. I would highly reccomend this tree service to anyone.

I called Tree Service Express on the November 12th for an estimate to have a palm removed from my backyard. Nick called me back within 15 minutes and said he could come later that day to give me an estimate. We had plans for later that day and arranged to meet him the next morning. He showed up on time and he gave me a price that I thought was reasonable. We agreed he would come the next day between 11am and 1pm to do the job. He showed up on time with his crew, they prepared the area with wood sheets to minimize damage to the grass, cut the tree down, and ground down the stump. The yard was left so clean afterwards you wouldn't know that any work was done at all. We couldn't be more pleased with the job they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a tree service.

This crew is fabulous. They were prompt and worked very hard. Two days of cutting down pines, palms and trimming oaks, palms and pines. Very professional and did NOT destroy our yard in the process! We definitely recommend Nick and his crew, and will be calling them again next year.

I'm so happy and impressed with this company. Everything they did demonstrated experience and professionalism. I called for a quote and within ten minutes the owner, Nick, returned my call. He made an appointment for that evening to come to my house to discuss the work that needed to be done. When he arrived he examined the trees and gave me a quote on what needed to be done. He showed me a copy of his liability insurance coverage and his workers' comp insurance. We then made an appointment to do the work two days later. The crew arrived exactly on time and went right to work. I was concerned because it was a dangerous job taking down six monstrous 45' high dying oak trees. Four of the oaks were within a large decorative planting area, so the crew dug up all the shrubs around the trees so that they would not be damaged while the work was done. They then moved all the heavy equipment in and worked non- stop for 9 hours. The crew was pleasant and courteous the entire day. I was truly amazed at their endurance and efficiency. When the trees were down and the stumps ground, the crew replanted all the small shrubs they had dug out earlier. They then cleaned up the entire area and left everything clean and neat . I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree work.

Nick and his crew showed up on time with all their equipment and trucks. His team of folks were hard working, conscientious, friendly, and were safe. They showed that they take safety seriously and went out of their way to make my house and property didn?t get damaged. It was obvious these guys have worked together for a while and knew what they are doing. They did exactly what they said they would do and even cleaned out my gutters while they were on my roof. They did a great job and left my property clean. I would not hesitate to hire Tree Service Express again and will next year to get the rest of the oak trees on my property trimmed/cleaned up, they are true professionals.

As a retired on site Property Manager of 25 years, I know the importance of hiring professional people that are licensed, insured and certified in their field. I, also believe in getting estimates. Because we are getting ready to have a pool installed we have to clear a path for the installers. We wanted a tree service to come in and do the job in a speedy and professional manner. I called Tree Service Express, for an estimate. Nick responded promptly. In my head I roughly estimated the cost of this job. Much to my surprise, I was only $50.00 off. I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, credentials and equipment. Another tree service came out to give an estimate. (not from Angie's List). He was not a licensed abortionist, carried minimal insurance,did not have the equipment to handle the job in a professional and speedy manner and informed me that his stump grinder was broken and it would be 3 weeks to a month before he could come back to do the stumps. He, also was not able to write me an estimate because his phone was broken and in for repair? (couldn't figure out what his phone had to do with it)? He did give me a business card and price of $950. Although his price was less, what he was doing and the equipment involved reflected it. I am a firm believer, you get what you pay for. The third Tree service I contacted was from Angie's list, as was TSE. Unfortunately they did not respond. I called Nick to see when he could schedule the job. Much to my surprise he scheduled it for the next morning! He arrived on time. The equipment he brought in was top notch and he and his crew handled the job with no issues. Plywood was also put on the grass to protect the ground from tire ruts and tracks. His employee's were dressed appropriately and was wearing hard hats. You could tell, safety was a priority in his business. I will say, because of my past profession, these are things I always took notice to. The job was done to our complete satisfaction. Nick, also trimmed a few branches from another oak tree at no charge. Clean up was excellent and best of all it was all done in one day. I would not hesitate for a minute to use or recommend Tree Service Express. In my book they are definitely a (5) five star. Donna

Nick and his crew removed several large Carrotwood trees and ground the stumps. I called three different tree service companies for estimates. In addition to offering the lowest estimate, I was immediately impress by Nick's professionalism and knowledge. He is a certified tree Arborist and takes pride in a job well done. He and his crew were able to remove, grind stumps, and haul away all of the trees in the same day as the estimate. They are courteous, professional and offer a first rate service. I will not hesitate to call Nick again in the future for additional tree service needs. I highly recommend Tree Service Express.

First I was impressed with the speed Nick called me back. Another service took three days to return my call and by then I had contracted Tree Service Express. They arrived on time and had both trees down, the stump ground and the debris on the truck in about an hour. They also threw in a bit of hedge trimming on our boxwood and schefflera. I felt the price, which included the Angie's list discount and a senior discount, to be very reasonable. I will definitely use Tree Service Express again when the need arises.
