Steamboat Carpet Cleaning

They destroyed 3 large handmade wool rugs. Color gone. Mold and mildew. Horrible smell. They were Rude. Keep lying about delivery when they knew they destroyed the rugs. We had to throw away all three large expensive rugs. They were nice before the rugs got demolished [“your rugs are absolutely beautiful” “these are expensive rugs” “we want to make sure they dry naturally” etc.]. They dragged it out as long as we (gullible clients) took it, and demand the return of our rugs. That’s when they got ugly. They were absolutely unprofessional, Un polite…extremely rude “NASTY”. They finally sent the demolished, molded, almost rotten rugs that were clearly rolled and tied for a long time (at least a week), while they kept claiming they’re not quite dry yet. RUN….don’t walk away from these people. I think they’re scammers.

All stains were clean. Looks very good. I am very pleased with the results and the price was very reasonable.

The two gentlemen that came to my house were very professionally dressed, very polite and did an excellent job. They had me check all of the rooms to make sure that the cleaning was to my satisfaction. What really impressed me with this company was, I called a little after noon today to see when I could schedule my steam cleaning, and they worked me in the same day! The office staff was very professional and notified me when the cleaning crew was on their way. They stated a particular time frame that they would be there, and they were right on point! I will definitely use them again. Thanks!

The service arrived on time and accomplished all desired cleaning needs in a short time. Additional services to supplement the primary service were offered but no pressure was used. We chose grout sealant, which was promptly applied at a reasonable cost. Employees were professional and courteous, and they cleaned up behind themselves before leaving.

The crew was fantastic. They moved furniture and placed spacers under the moved furniture to allow the carpet to dry. They meticulously cleaned up the water off the hardwood floors as they left. We had spots on the master bedroom carpet and it appears the spots came out. We are very happy with Steamboat and would hire them again.

It went well except their chemical exacerbated an existing stain. To their credit, they came back twice to try to fix it. In the end, I removed the stain with an off-the-shelf upholstery/carpet cleaner and considerable elbow grease.

It went better than expected. The price was more than fair. Will not consider any other company for future carpet cleaning needs. Steamboat Carpet Cleaning is Better Than The Best! Also they were kind enough to come to our home on short notice. So happy we chose Steamboat.

The workers arrived on time and quickly got things set up to start work. I was keeping my neighbors' cat so they worked with me to be sure she didn't get out. They moved furniture that needed to be moved and put plastic or foam blocks under any that went back on the wet carpet. They were done quickly and the carpet was very clean. I will hire them again (and have several times in the past). I wish there were some way they could leave the carpet a little drier, but I understand that with the procedure they use, this may not be possible. They warned me about slippery feet going from wet carpet to tile and I put towels down to help. They turned on the overhead fans to help with the drying and it was good by morning .

stains did not clean as they were heavy. Called and they came back the next day.

I have used Steamboat for several years and they always leave me with clean carpeting and a small bottle of their cleaner for spots, which by the way cleans spots on apparel you want to wash. I do think they are less responsive about moving furniture to clean under, before they just moved it this time they asked if it was required. (Chairs and sofas, etc nothing really large.) Carpet was very wet when they left not damp as I recalled from before. Humidity went up in the house from 52% to 81% and it took 2 days to dry completely with AC and fans running, but the end result was great.

He was polite, professional and courteous. I will continue to use his company for my services.

The service tech got here right on time and surveyed the work to be done. He then hooked up his equipment and went right to work. First he pre-treated a few spots and began. He worked quickly and efficiently and was done in a timely manner. I had also asked for a quote for tile cleaning which he provided after taking some measurements. He did a very good job.

The dates of service were June 27,2015 and a re-do on June 30th. The first team of two men who came were very nice but left very odd markings on the carpet. I called to tell the owner who was not very pleasant. However, she did send another duo, also extremely nice and willing but they used much too much liquid with the result that the carpet has buckled in four areas. We had used Steamboat in the past and been very pleased with the service, but this last experience changed our opinion. I am reluctant to say don't use them, because they usually do a great job but now we have unsightly wall to wall carpeting.

Steamboat did the best job of any carpet cleaner I have ever had. carpets looked brand-new when they were done; there was a dog in the house we just bought and no traces of the dog exist!
