We had a very good experience with this contractor and and are very pleased with the results. They were punctual each day, very considerate, detail oriented and delivered a high quality result. It took a little more than a week from start to finish and they even worked a Saturday to stay on schedule. They took great care to remove window treatments, trim plates, wall covers and well as covering and protecting our furniture. I believe it was an very solid value for the price paid and would highly recommend them.

I interviewed him for a painting job. I was in a hurry to get the work done since I do not live permanently in Florida. I asked if he could come out an afternoon which he agreed to. He never showed up and then never called. I called him back and he apologized. He came out for the quote. It took him a week to get me the quote and it ended up being much higher that other quotes that I had gotten. The quote was thorough but not itemized. He just gave a bottom line figure and did not price each individual figure. He did seem very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about.

Sean oversaw the project and is VERY passionate about his work. His two workers, Jerry and I forgot the other workers name, are both EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional. Since I am color challenged and frankly have no idea what colors go with what, I asked for opinions. Jerry was very helpful and suggested what colors I should go with and also suggested that having contrast walls might be a good idea. I went with his suggestions and I am very happy with the choices. If you are like me and thought that anyone can slap some paint on the walls and ceilings and call it painting, think twice. THERE IS NO WAY THAT MY PAINTING OF THE HOUSE WOULD HAVE LOOKED ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THEIR WORK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEAN AND HIS CREW FOR ALL YOUR PAINTING NEEDS!

Sean came to our new home to give us a quote on accent painting. We wanted to do some sort of accent within the coffered ceiling of our Great room. We were unsure of what would make the ceiling "Pop". Sean came up with the design and concept of faux painting the trim to match that of our Kitchen island cabinets. He applied a four step process of paint and used a cheese cloth to textureize the paint to resemble that of the grain in the wood cabintes. He also suggested painting the interior each square to match the wall color. The result........ UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Sean and his crew arrived at our home exactly on time and were extremely diligent about being neat and clean by covering up our floors and taping off the areas being painted. We also had our spare bathrooms and the interior of our tray ceilings painted with an accent color. Our before and after pictures speak volumes. Sean is more than just a painter. He is a professional craftsman that can visualize, design and execute the concept. We will definitely use Sean again for any of our future painting needs and HIGHLY recommend his services.

Sean came out to look at the areas that we wanted painted. He e-mailed me an estimate in a timely manner. We were in a rush to get the work done and Sean was very accommodating. He had a crew out the next morning to begin work. The quality of the work was excellent and the price was better than we had been given by another company. Both Sean and his employees were professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I was very, very impressed with Sean and his team. Everyone was prompt, polite, and very detailed and thorough in their work. I can't recommend them enough. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Sean and Gerry showed up on time every day very professional. Very pleasant to talk to and ask questions. Work was completed on day 3,pleased with their work. They were very neat,not messy. I will hire them again soon to paint my other master bedroom.

Very pleasant young man came to my home and gave me an estimate to paint the interior of my condo. He then emailed me an estimate of $2,600 for the work and paint. I had another estimate done by a different company that quoted me $800 for the work and paint! Obviously chose the other company and were SO VERY HAPPY with their work!

The quality of his service is phenomenal, and every member of his crew that worked on my property was respectful, respectable, and highly professional. I have had many complimentary comments from my neighbors, and at least one has already hired him to work on her house. I am extremely pleased with Sean and his crew, and the resulting appearance of my home.

Sean was very prompt. He looked over the areas to be painted and said he would email me an estimate. I felt a little rushed but to be fair I believe he had just come from a job and it was after 5pm. When I received the estimate it was in a letter form in an email instead of a formal estimate. Which was not a problem, I just thought it was a little unprofessional. The estimate was much higher than the other two I had received. Sean had left me a paint sample book from Sherwin Williams that I wanted to return. I emailed him to let him know I would not be hiring him but would like to return the samples. I never received a response, again a little unprofessional.

Excellent job. Very pleased. I will be hiring them again to paint inside my house and garage floor.

Everything went well. Workers were pleasant, started on time, worked continuously and cleaned up materials at end of each day. Owner supervision apparent but not overbearing. Worked well with his staff. We were very pleased with them from beginning to end of the job and would not hesitate to hire them again.

The team showed up every day for four days right on time and even a few minutes early. They got to work right away. We were having a problem with our air conditioner but none of them complained one word about the stuffiness of the situation. They cleaned up after themselves each evening. Our house looks outstanding now and I would highly recommend them.

My overall experience with Sean was great. After visiting my home he provided a quote within 24 hours. His quote was very fair and any additional work that came up during the project was immediately discussed and he was very straightforward about additional cost. I was very comfortable having Sean and his staff in my home and extremely pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. Any hiccups that occurred were worked out easily and quite satisfactorily. The project was on a tight schedule--I wanted the work done before my daughter's birthday party--Sean promised he would finish on time and he delivered. I will be calling him again with future projects!

Sean provided an accurate estimate of the cost of the work & it was done in the time allotment that was given. The actual paint job itself was perfect and I will be using him on the next painting project. I am very particular about the cosmetic component of my properties & Sean exceeded my expectations.

We had a lot of difficulty finding a painter who would commit to painting a 2 story house. Sean was very punctual and communicative thoughout the job and had a lot of good suggestions on best approach to the job. Some delays were experienced due to weather, but he stayed in contact to report on how things were progressing and what his next steps would be. The home is an older house with wood trim that required unforseen repairs and unexpected challenges. Sean tackled all of the challenges as they came and he did a great job. Very professional,and a pleasure to work with.

I found Sean by referring to Angie's List. When I contacted him , he was very professional and came out to provide us with an estimate. He really took a great deal of time in explaining the process and giving us a start and completion date. His price was reasonable and I didn't feel it necessary to contact anyone else. He started on the agreed date and finished right on time. He is very meticulous and I quickly learned that I had made the right choice in hiring him. His number one helper, Sergio, is out of the same mold. Very nice, respectful and most accomodating. Sean and Sergio both are top notch, highly professional painting contractors. They were always very careful not to inconvenience us more than absolutely necessary. The job was finished today and our home looks new again. Both of them went back over their work in each room making sure that everything was done as promised. We could not be any more happy with their work. It was truely a most pleasant experience. I highly recommend Sean Downs Painting and will certainly be calling on them in the future.

If a person does not want to be hired well don't even answer the email, better yet if you do have the respect of answering tell them you are not interested period.

The were on time worked around the rain and did a great job and did everything they had agreed to and more. Yes I would hire them again in fact this was the second job that they have done for me. Totally satisfied both times

Sean and his crew were on time each day. They completed sections of the house and put things back as they finished each area, which made it easier to maintain our own schedules. They did a high quality, clean and timely job. I have contracted with Sean to do some outside painting and cleaning in a few wee, so yes I wolld use them again. We are glad we choose Sean Down's painting and would recommend them. We felt comfortable with all members of the painting crew and are pleased with the job they did.

They emailed me after I asked for a quote that they would not bid the job because he and his crew are offended by cigarette smoke.

HeSean and his team Mike and Sergio did a fabulous job painting my 2 story foyer and two hallways. Sean gave me an estimate much lower than the competition. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule quickly. Sean supervised and participated in completing the job. He was meticulous. It was a great experience.
