Very nice man. Prompt, courteous , professional. Met and discussed project. Even after asking for all 4 of finalists for my job to rebid to lower costs, his bid was the highest by several hundred dollars, so we didn't use him.

I had a very good experience. It was through word of mouth. The cost was very reasonable.

Our house is one story BUT our roof line is over 30 feet at the high point. The house is 4 years old and we had already had the pickled underside of the roof on the front and back porches pressured cleaned twice. The mildew came back with increased growth each time. I called our paint store to get painter suggestions then looked on Angie's List to see if any of their suggestions were on there. They weren't but I did find great reviews on Sean Downs. My paint store did not know of Sean Downs but because of Angie's List I called him. He called back right away and came the following day to look at job. His bid came in lots less less than our old painter (who was just going to pressure clean it again). Sean taught us why hand cleaning the mildewed wood was the best. He described how he would clean and repaint the underside. It was a big complicated job requiring 2 weeks of work. His 2 man crew built temporary platforms on our exterior beans as well as used large scaffolding. They covered all our windows and the walls on the porches. Sean even brought the Sherwin Williams rep to the house to look the problem to confirm his plan was the best for our house. (and it was!) His crew was careful of our plants. They covered or moved all the furniture on the porches and each day cleaned up. They even covered our fans and outdoor speakers and security cameras. They used ear phones and listened to music that way so we didn't have blaring music all day! A big plus for us was that they were non-smokers. They did discover rotten wood and helped us take pictures of the spots that were high up. I have already asked them to come back and paint the new beams after our builder replaces the affected areas. Sean came to check on the job almost every day. I felt as though he was aware of the daily progress. I liked that he was up front with us about the scheduling of the job. It took several weeks to get on his schedule but one it was our turn the job was done quickly without delays.

From initial contact to job completion, every step went as Sean said it would and the results actually exceeded my expectations. His crew began the job a day or 2 earlier than was estimated, performed every step of the process exactly as I was told and completed the job on time. A very professional company that was extremely easy to deal with that I would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.

Job went very well. House looks better than it looked when new. Crew was very courteous, clean and left material neatly every day.

They were very professional and very efficient. They started a day early and finished before the week was over. The attention to detail was amazing and we are very pleased with the result. Absolutely no complaints.

Sean came to my house after an hour to gave me estimate. IHis estimate that he gave me to paint 3 walls and some texture repairs were correct. I definately hire them again. His team were good to work with. They cover the work areas and clean after the job is done. They listen and do not argue with customer. They answer all your questions. I enjoy seeing a contractor do the right thing.

A crew of 3 was here 3 days and one person finished up the 4th day. Sean came by every day and inspected what they had done. They were all very friendly, professional and punctual. They were very particular about things being done perfectly. Excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again!

I gave them a B for price only because he was a bit higher then other estimates, but as with everything else, you get what you pay for. I'll definitely hire them again.

Sean was punctual in coming to give us an estimate and gave detailed explanation of how he would repair a crack in the ceiling in the family room. Very professional and friendly crew. The work was done very well and in a timely fashion. Crew arrived on time and did a great job cleaning up. We were very pleased with the outcome and glad that we had professionals do it.

Working with SDP was a fantastic experience, and the results were outstanding--our church looks awesome! Sean and his team worked around our crazy schedule, provided expert advice on materials and colors, and worked around significant construction that was going on at the same time. Their professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility contributed greatly to the success of our entire renovation. I had designed the renovation in phases, which required an 'on/off' schedule over an 8-week period for painting the interior and exterior of our entire church, and SDP accommodated us wonderfully. Even when we ran into some unexpected drywall issues that went above and beyond the scope of reasonable 'prep' work, they tackled it and didn't miss a beat. All of the guys were great to work with--no personality conflicts with any staff or other contractors. These guys are true professionals and we actually enjoyed having them onsite. The results of their work are flawless. The level of detail is remarkable. There is not a missed spot or streak, an 'oops' mark, nor a drop of spill to be found anywhere. SDP would be my first recommendation to anyone looking for painting services for home or commercial, and will be my first call the next time I need painting services.

Met with Sean to go over the job. He was very professional and gave me some good ideas on paint type. I felt comfortable enough with him the leave him a key and to perform the work while we were to there. I explained I needed the work done before I arrived in late December. When we arrived, the work was done complete and we couldn't have been more happy with the results.

I thought the meeting went well, however, he never got back to me with a quote as promised.

Sean and his crew arrived on the day agreed upon to do the work. They performed a complete pressure cleaning of the house. After pressure cleaning they prepped for painting, removing all the gutter downspouts and light fixtures from the house. All windows were taped off and covered in plastic film. House was treated with a sealer and bonding agent followed by 2 coats of quality paint. I cannot say enough good things about this painting crew. I used to work in the construction trade myself for 19 years and was exposed to many types of work performed by individuals including painting. I have never seen the quality of work that would compare to what Sean and his crew had performed. I am not easily impressed because I firmly believe in quality workmanship. And even though it may take a little longer to do it will always make a difference in the long haul; however, Sean and his crew definitely impressed me. Signed, Pleasantly Pleased John homeowner

The project went very well. The painter was prompt in arrival, cleaned the surfaces, texturized in needed areas, and applied the paint I purchased. I was very pleased with the job done.

They're on Angie's List. He's going to start work next week. We got estimates from others on Angie's List but we're going with him. So far, he's been very businesslike and polite and he has met us on several occasions when he said he would. His saying should be dependable so far but he hasn't started work so we'll check it out later.

Gave us a quote well below his competitors. Did a great job with the texture and painted clean borders. Left our house clean and in order. We will definitely get Sean to do any painting in the future.

Sean Downs and his crew were excellent. They power washed the house and driveway, prepared the walls with a special sealant, and primed. They were very thorough, effecient, timely and considerate.

Work was done within our time frame, at a very reasonable price. Workers confirmed small details before automatically doing it.

We are very satisfied. The work was done very well and very clean. We will use them again for our interior paining later this year.
