Renew is a husband and wife operation. Vicki set up a convenient appointment time with me for her husband Schuyler to come out and give us an estimate. We moved into a new house that had travertine floors in need of some TLC. We weren't sure what was possible until Schuyler came out. We discussed some options for diamond honing and polishing, but I was having a hard time figuring out what I really wanted (there are different levels of sheen and clarity). Schuyler went out to his work trailer and grabbed some tools, and came back into the house and gave me a quick demonstration on a couple of "test" tiles. The demonstration was extremely valuable to me, and allowed me to make a confident decision. We agreed to the right solution for our needs, and he went about measuring our sq. footage and provided an estimate on the spot. He explained his estimate thoroughly and I felt extremely confident that the service he would provide would be what we wanted. I got a quote for the same job from another company that was 4 times as expensive, and I had less confidence in the other company's ability to execute. The decision to go with Renew was a "no-brainer". The next day I called Vicki and set-up a date to have Renew come out and perform the job. Schuyler showed up on time, and was very respectful of our home. Due to work constraints I couldn't stay home and watch him work, but he took the time to work up an area before I left so I could see the finished product on a whole room. I was blown away with the looks. It took him a day and half to finish the job. His work was impeccable, and he kept the price to his original estimate. Our floors look better than I ever imagined. I would recommend Renew's services to anyone in need of quality work on stone floors such as travertine, terrazzo or marble.
