Platinum Plumbing of Brevard, Inc

We bought water heater from Sears in 5/11. Leaked all over the garage shortly thereafter. Platinum Plumbing does the work for Sears in Brevard. They took my copper plumbing. I asked the installer to leave it on, he said "I dont have the tools, nor do I have the fittings." I could not believe a plumber does not have this one his truck. He replaced it with CPVC. I really wanted my copper pipes. He took out the old water heater and dripped rust from it on the driveway. All joints were glued together. Went to take shower in AM and fumes were horrible and the fumes lasted 3 days. I called the shop and told the manager I wanted my copper plumbing back. He said "No problem if you want it we will put it back on, give us a week, we are busy." He will call us to set up time. Three weeks later I called. The manager told me that he spoke to Sears and he does NOT have replace my copper unless I paid for the labor. I was really upset. He said the tech is not selling it, but would not say who is. How many seniors are being taken advantage of? After speaking to Sears, they did not know who told them to charge me. Anyhow, that water heater leaked. I would not let Platinum back in the house, we proceeded to have two more installed, was told the CPVC does not last and he used a better grade of piping. Shamrock Plumbing had to come from Orlando as Platinum is the only one Sears uses in Brevard. After much stress with Sears, they finally admitted it was a defect in the T & P valve in the tank. I opted out of a Sears Water heater after 3 of them and had my old brand which had lasted 15 years put back in. I had to pay for this and get reimbursed from Sears. Shamrock Plumbing from Orlando was soooo nice, effficient, great and neat work and timely. Would recommend Shamrock Plumbing to anyone.

They are great. I have used them for years. I had them come out to fix and install new fixtures on my sink.
