J & T INSULATION

I had this company install glass doors for my three bathrooms. The first installation went really great, they were fast and no issues at all so I decided to use them again. The second bathroom, I specifically told them that I wanted a frame less shower window but they ordered the the wrong one. I agreed to go ahead and have it installed to avoid anymore delay. After just a few weeks the door is making an awful clicking noise every time you open and close the door. The third bathroom they ordered the wrong shower doors again, I told them I wanted a barn style sliding glass doors. I also paid for that style in advanced. A month later they finally installed the correct shower doors but it has about a 1.02 inch gap on the bottom and water is leaking every time the shower is used. Also the guide for the shower door keeps coming off. I have contacted this company numerous since December of 2017. Once they sent 2 people out to look at the doors. They said the barn door shower needed a part they had to order. The other door, withe the loud click needed adjusting. He said the other installer,with more experience, would need to look at it. As I have tried to follow up since then, I have been blown off. Calls, and texts are never returned. These doors were installed incorrectly, and need to be fixed. We did our part, and paid promptly. I expect the same courtesy/professionalism from them. We called as recently as yesterday. The person that answered the phone once again took our message. Gutters looks great but had the work done last March and have had a leak in the front corner by the garage every since installed. Have called them three times trying to have this resolved. They apologize and have the service man call me and says that he's gonna get out here to fix it. Here it is almost a year later and still waiting!

I had used them twice before on gutter installations, so I called about soffit panels and fascia hurricane damage. They did a beautiful job.

They did a good job and the price was right, but when I called on Friday he said he would be out there Friday but never showed up. Monday I called and he apologized for not calling, then said he would be out there Monday. He came out Monday and gave us the estimate. I called a couple days later, and the office said he was out for a week. When I called back after the week, the receptionist told me he would be coming out that day, but he didn't come out. Tuesday I called to check if he was coming out, she said he was but he didn't. Wednesday, I was told again they would come out, but didn't. Thursday, the receptionist said it was all set up for Friday. She didn't give me a call to let me know, so he did come out Friday and I had to leave my house to drop off the check because my mother wasn't there. The price was good, quality of the work was good and Jerry was very professional and nice. Their responsiveness and scheduling issues needs improvement.

The initial insulation/soffit/baffle of our house was completed by JT as part of our home purchase. During the first few weeks in our home we heard a horrible pounding noise whenever it was windy. I got in the attic and recorded the baffle visibly slapping where it was not properly attached and it was folded the wrong way. I emailed this video and pictures I took to JT. While I was in the attic i noticed that a quarter of our attic did not have a baffle installed. After arguing with them about the problem being the baffle and not the soffit they sent soffit repairmen to my house. The soffit crew confirmed that it was not the soffit as I had stated since the beginning. I showed the video of the baffle to them as well. They confirmed that it was the baffle. Finally an insulation crew came and replaced the baffle and added insulation in the attic. They confirmed that the baffle was done incorrectly throughout the house and agreed that the baffle should be placed in the areas where there was no baffle. The manager arrived on site after the crew had been working for a half an hour and stated that it is normal for a baffle to not be installed throughout the attic. This was incorrect information and they continued. The area that did not have a baffle was the area of my house that has high ceilings. It appeared that the crew who initially did the work did not chose to put baffle in this area. Our neighbors house which is the same as ours had the exact same problem. In the area where there was no baffle the insulation had blown a good distance away from the edge of the attic and the insulation no longer covered areas of our ceiling. Toward the end of the repair one of crew members accidentally stepped through the ceiling in our master bedroom, leaving a 3 foot by 3 foot hole into my attic. The manager on site said that their dry wall guy would be out that day to repair it. He never came. For two weeks I called almost daily and was told he would come fix it soon. No one ever came. Very bad experience. A month after this repair another portion of the baffle began the pounding noise again. I fixed this myself as to not have to go through the trouble of dealing with JT again.

It went okay. They came on time and very professional. Explained what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves.

Customer service, advice, and installation was fantastic. Phoned looking for a quote for insulation installation. They recommended the FPL energy audit for free to get a rebate. With FPL certificate in hand it was just over $500 to upgrade what little insulation we had. Installers were courteous and professional and done in about 90 mins. Since then, I cannot believe the difference in electric bill. We will have the investment paid off in no time over last summers cooling bill. I have since recommended them to anyone who has asked.

It went great. Most of their work is in the Palm Coast area but they worked us in as their last customer in the afternoon, a few days after we first contacted them. Our tenant had complained that the a/c wasn't working properly but we were informed when the a/c was inspected that we needed insulation. My husband met them at our rental property. While they were in the attic they noticed a torn piece of the ductwork which we were able to repair. A few days later the tenant let us know how much cooler the apt was. They were prompt, efficient and did a great job! I'd recommend them to anyone.

I called the asked about insulation and how much, and to my surprise the lady on the phone told me to call FPL to do an expection to see if I would qualify for assisatants and I did. That saved me $300 dollars Thanks you J and T Insulations

They gave me a quote over the phone and came out to my home to do a more precise estimate because of the removal of the old insulation. They used a straight forward math equation to determine the pric, which was cheaper that the batts I had bought from the HD, so I will return those and not have to crawl up there and get itchy! Then they told me to get an FPL energy survey. I did and I got $300 off! They wanted to wait the extra week until I got the form. They did not want to do they work until I had the voucher to save money! My voucher was $300 because I had all the insulation removed. If you only get it blown in, you get a $150 voucher. I was a little disappointed in the attic clean out. I was expecting a perfectly spotless attic, but they did not remove every drop of the old wool insulation or whatever it was. The fill looks really good. It is white and fluffy like snow, but they did not fill in the old fan that is right next to the attic hatch that the estimator said they would fill. I will have to buy some insulation since I did not save any to fill it in... I heard comments like and quot;wow, this is easy, except for all the nails in the roof.and quot; They stayed focused and worked hard. They also made an R-30 hatch cover.

Excellent service and promptness. Entire staff was very friendly and was very helpful to get the job completed in a minimal time. Job only took 3 days and the workers were very professional.....And the work was top notch. Highly recommend and would use again...

They showed up when they said they would and performed just fine. They did leave a little mess of insulation on a rug that they did not clean up, but the house was under rehab, and I assume they thought that it was OK to do that. I would use them again.

I called the company and they gave me an estimated price, however, the final cost would be based on actual insulation used. We set a specific time and they showed as promised and ready to go. The crew was very professional and explained to me the areas requiring additional information. The crew leader and I went to the attic and reviewed the work done. Evything went very well.

Very pleased. They returned my call in a timely manner and gave me a quote on Monday . Thursday they were at my home insulating the attic. The price was the same as quoted.Very neat and clean.

They got it above code throughout the entire attic, including the front porch area which hadn't been insulated well before. They were very professional, thorough, and fast. They knew what they needed to do. They asked if I had FPNL rebate which I didn't but at least they asked. They even cleaned up a little afterwards.

They were pretty flexible. Three different kinds of insulation had to be done. They are also in the recommended list of providers by Florida Power and Light. So if you get an energy home audit, they give you a gift voucher for $300. The total cost was $2700 and I paid only $2400. Our electricity cost used to be like $150 to $160 in the summer and now it is like down to a $100. They really helped out. Now that we insulated all the interior walls as well, the outside noise and inside noise is so much less. I think that their price is good too. I talked to a lot of companies about the foam insulation. They were right around the same price and they worked me actually on the price. They did good quality work. My general contractor is impressed with them as well. They were out here twice even before they came to do the work. They were on time. I am so happy with them. I wasn't here when they came. They were all done, nice and cleaned up when I got back here.

Called on a Friday to get a quote. Was given a quote over the phone. They were here first thing Monday morning to perform the work. Very professional, would recommend using them!!

I got an over-the-phone estimate and although I prefer a written estimate I went ahead with the project and they lived up to what they promised completely. I placed my order and they were there the next day to do the radiant barrier and blown-in insulation. They were prompt, courteous and professional. Getting the garage door insulation installed was another matter. It took a long time and several phone calls to get it done. There were problems getting the material ordered and delivered to them but they didn't keep me very well informed as to what was happening. I had to call them several times but they did come out and install the correct material and did what I think was a very professional job, but it was several weeks after the other work was done. In all fairness garage door insulation is not a very common request so the glitch is understandable to me. It amounted to only 10% of the total cost. I would use these guys again for any insulation needs in the future and highly recommend them -- even for garage doors now that I've paved the way! They did a good job.

Fantastic! I met them when I was out working and the person they completed the job for was very hapy. We called them and we were quoted a much higher price then we got charged. I like that!
