It is a father and son team, they are right on time and explain everything they would do to find and repair the leak. It did take them about 2 hours of listening and 5 holes thru the grout and slab to make sure they had the right spot. It was good they took their time before breaking tile so only 1 had to be broken. The copper line was quickly fixed once they broke thru the slab and reached it. They area was clean when they left. They do not replace tile/flooring damaged ( which would be tough even if you have the replacements as the replacement fill cement needs a day to dry). so keep in mind you need to do that yourself; they do not even cleanly remove the tile they do need to break so you will need to square up and remove that yourself; remember tile is sharp on the broken edges! In summary, they are 20% more than other quotes, but where prompt, kept the broken tile to a minimum. For the extra cost I would think they could at least completely remove the tiles that they broke; only took me about 5 min with grout removal tool, chisel, and hammer; if you do not have those plan accordingly.

Outstanding! There is not much else to say, when ones arrives on time, is very pleasant, does an excellent job and charges a fair price. I highly recommend GPS Plumbing. I thought there was a leak somewhere for a few weeks and had them come out. They determined there was a leak and located it within 10 minutes, that was fast.

Our water heater started leaking so I called GPS Plumbing to see when they could install a new one. It was NOT an emergency since the old one was still working, but Ed had time right then & was at my house within an hour. He & his son removed the old water heater and installed a new one, plus gave me $25 credit because the old shut off valve was in good condition & still useable. The cost for this was $625. He then tackled my kitchen drainage problems, which come from having 55 year old drain pipes. He worked for 4 hours using different sewer machines so he wouldn't damage the copper pipe. For this he charged $250 because it was such an extensive job.

I agree with the other reviewers that Ed and Ryan were a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time, made the effort to explain to me everything they were doing and located my problem in a relatively short time. I also had them do a couple other repairs and upgrades which they again explained in detail. Interesting. Although they couldn't do the re-piping job they did refer me to other plumbers and explained to me what to expect which was helpful when I started getting quotes for the job. I would definitely use GPS again and recommend them for all plumbing repairs.

I called GPS and spoke with the owner and explained my problem, water back-up in all drains. He said they could be there within a half hour and they were right on time. He came in and looked at the situation and went right to work along with an assistant. He said the problem was with the main sewer line and it was. He explained that he thought it was the result of a broken sewer pipe which he confirmed as they were clearing the drain. They cleared the blockage very quickly and thoroughly explained the problem and what needed to be done for a permanent solution. I found them to be extremely knowledgably, friendly, informative and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Very professional, clean and courteous. Spent as much time as we needed answering questions about the repair but also other plumbing concerns we had with our house. (We recently purchased this old house and had lots of questions about possible improvements.)

Both Ed and his son were terrific. They answered the phone (no need to leave a message) both times we called. They came within 2 days which worked perfectly for us. They called 15 minutes ahead of arriving. They spent quite a while showing and explaining in detail a piping problem we have. Even though they could not install the faucets, they referred another professional who could do a major re-plumbing before we can change out the faucets. These two were in no rush to leave after discovering they could not complete their job. Instead, they made sure we understood the issue and left only after they were satisfied we had no further questions. What integrity ! We will certainly call them again.

I needed a new water heater installed so i called these guys...they were very professional, fast, friendly and ON TIME!. I highly recommend....and one more thing....they beat the price of a competitor (a home improvement center franchise) by $50.00 bucks....what more could i ask for?....not a single thing!!!! I was impressed with the quick call back -- the education provided and their concern for their customer. Very professional and they both felt very trustworthy. I felt very comfortable asking rather novice questions and they took their time ito educate. You would be able to bounce off ideas with either one of them and I feel confident they would lead you in the correct direction/course of action needed to take. They reviewed my situation and educated me as to why they did not feel my leak was a plumbing issue. Great Job!

After looking on Angie list for a plumber I decided to call GPS plumbing. I spoke with Ed , he and Ryan were at my house a hour later.. They cleared my clogged shower and recommended another plumber to get a estimate on a replumb (bobs plumbing 3215147115) I have some major plumbing issues with my house I just bought and will definitely use them in the future. They took the time to explain what the problems were that I'm facing. Thank you!

Saturday, I tried to replace the moen positemp cartridge in my shower. This was the second time it needed to be replaced in 5 years. This time it was stuck so badly that the cartridge cracked in half when I tried to crowbar it out. (This was after having soaked it in vinegar for hours to dissolve the deposits around it, per youtube suggestion.) I called GPS plumbing Saturday night and spoke to Ed several times. He spent a half hour over the course of the evening making suggestions on how to proceed with getting the busted pieces out. When it got to the point that we both thought it was time for a professional to take over, he said he would come to my house Sunday morning. He arrived promptly at 9:00 and had it all fixed by 10:30. I think the price was quite fair for a Sunday morning emergency call that also included yet another cartridge. Yes, the replacement cartridge that Moen sent me for "free" leaked even worse than the one Ed had removed! What more could you possibly expect from a plumbing service? I very highly recommend GPS and they will get the first call for any of my future plumbing needs. As for Moen: " Buy it for looks and live with the strife" is a more accurate slogan in my opinion. He called ahead and gave me the approximate time he would be here. Arrived on time, was friendly and got to work. His partner got on the roof and cleared the drains more than once to be sure drain was totally clear. Gave advice on how to keep drains clear and offered assistance in the future. Even gave us a name of a plumbing company who has a camera to go down into our old cast iron pipes in case we have problems in the very near future. I would hire GPS in a heart beat again and recommend him to everyone.

GPS team came out just a few hours after calling. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional. They checked for leaks per our request as well as provided us with valuable information regarding water damage and mold remediation. We will definitely be calling them again if ever needed in the future.

I was very impressed with the crew. They were very professional and cleaned up everything while they worked, removing all the old parts and took them out their truck. The even left me the information pamphlet on the new unit with a warrenty card to me to send in. I would not hesitate calling them again.

By 10:30, Ed and his son, Ryan arrived. To my amazement, only one floor tile had to be broken. Ed and his son, Ryan are true professionals and definitely would be my first choice for any future plumbing needs. I would not hesitate to tell my family,friends, and neighbors about them. My wife was very pleased with their neatness and how they explained what they were doing.
