This is a father/son team. They are both very professional and courteous. They do excellent work and even take the time to explain what needs to be done. I will definitely continue to call them whenever I have plumbing needs.

Love these guys (Ed and Ryan)! Our families have used them on several occasions for various plumbing needs. They are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, punctual, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They may make suggestions, but are never "pushy" or arrogant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - would give them an A+++ rating if it was available!

Excellent!! I called with a need for a valve replacement on my Hot Water Heater. Ryan and Ed showed up within 2 hours, did an excellent job, the price was exactly what they said it would be. I will most definitely call GPS to replace my tank when it comes time. I also plan to have them install a faucet in my kitchen when I get my new countertops.

Ryan was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He located the source of the leak and only replaced what was needed. I will vertically GPS again!

Everything went great. They were the first company to return my phone call from the previous evening. They were at my house at 8:45 am and stayed for about 3 hours. They took care of the leak and showed and told me everything that they were doing. It was really refreshing to have a company come to you quickly and they were truly professional. I would surely use them again for all of my plumbing needs. Also I had contacted a different plumbing company and was not impressed with them. That is why I switched to GPS Plumbing and I am so glad that I did,

Ed was very responsive to my requests for a new water heater once my started to leak. He took no shortcuts when performing the installation and it was performed very well. The thing I liked the best is that he actually soldered the copper rather then using fittings or specialized glue. You can tell based upon his work that he takes pride in everything he does. The installation was a fair price roughly in the middle of all of the other plumpers we surveyed.

So I've had Gomiela Plumbing Service (AKA GPS plumbing) out to my house on a number of occasions now and I can speak to our continued satisfaction with them. Our first experience was on January 2nd, 2016 (original review here): Everything went great. I contacted them yesterday afternoon once our flooring people noticed the washing machine valves weren't shutting off properly. GPS was able to squeeze our job in first thing in the morning. They showed up on time, got right to work and wrapped the job up quickly. Once everything was done Ryan showed me how the replacement was done and told me how to operate the new valves. He noted in about 10 years, when they may need replacing again, with the new set up we could do it ourselves pretty easily. I'd absolutely recommend him and if we need more plumbing work, we'll absolutely give him and GPS a call. Just this past Friday (April 28, 2016), we had another plumbing emergency, a leaking water line to the house. They showed up within the hour and very quickly diagnosed the problem (a tree root was putting pressure on the pipe, which caused a crack). I had them re-route the waterline to the house to bypass a large oak tree to help avoid future issues. They quickly got to work, fixed up the new line, reset the sod and were wrapped up/ready to go before the day was up. I'm continually impressed with their quick response and professionalism. Their respect for the urgency of our plumbing needs and appreciation of our own schedules and timing has always been great. We've had them come by the house now on three separate occasions and every time we get top notch service.

GPS did a good job on the work. They were higher than I wanted but after listening to multiple quotes I trusted them the most. It seemed that they would do a good job and stand behind their work if there were any issues that arose. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job. They were professional and courteous.

We have had Eddie and his son, Ryan out to our house in the past to do plumbing work for us a a couple of times, and were very impressed with the quality of work they had done and the costs. So, when my dad bought the house next door, there was no question as to whom we would call to tackle the extensive list of plumbing problems that came with it. Eddie came out right away and spent a lot of time checking out the situation, making recommendations, and giving us a thorough estimate. He and Ryan worked for a couple of days very soon after to complete the job in a very professional manner, making sure that we were totally happy with their work. We were once again very happy with the results and the price. We will definitely call them again for all of our plumbing needs. Both of them are courteous and professional, and possess a high quality work ethic which tends to be not so common in the world of contractors today.

Exceptionally professional and friendly father an son team. They called me to let me know they would be arriving early, which they did. Ryan, the son, had to clean out both the kitchen and laundry room drains to remove all of the stoppage, but they finished within an hour and charged the price they had quoted. Ed, the father, explained everything to me and assured me they wouldn't leave until all of the drains ran free. It was like visiting with old friends and there was no yelling or complaining, just assurance that things were going great. I will definitely use them for all my plumbing problems and recommend them heartily to anyone looking for a professional plumbing team.

I called them up because my Garbage Disposal was acting up. Instead of charging me to come out, they actually walked me through how to fix it myself, and stayed with me on the phone the whole time. They were very professional and I really appreciate it! I would highly recommend this company.

They came out Monday morning, they advised me they carry replacement toilets with them at all times. They came and the very first thing they did was laid down long drop cloth on top of carpet, the whole carpet was covered. They came in pulled out the toilet, put in the new one, they even changed out a faucet as well because it was about 15 years. They left spotless work and did the whole job in 45 min. The whole price was $395. They did a beautiful job, and very beautiful toilet, good for their word for the price and they were spotless. Any other job I have I will definitely be calling them. Family business, his son also works with him. I would recommend them to anyone that asks me that needs a plumbing.

Our water heater sprung a leak on Saturday night. We didn't want to pay for emergency service, so we shut the water off and I started emailing plumbers on Sunday to get some quotes. I emailed Ryan and he and Ed arrived on Monday A.M. and quoted us $750.00, which we thought was reasonable especially considering we wanted a good quality water heater. They installed the Rheem water heater without incident. They put down a drop cloth from the door to the utility room to protect the carpet. They replaced not only the water heater but the valve leading into it and also a new tray. I will definitely call them again if we need a plumber.

Prompt service. Friendly. Actually able to arrive early after another appointment was canceled. They surveyed the problem, made a suggestion on repair, provided a quote, and got to work. Problem solved in a timely manner, professionally, and in a friendly way.

I contacted this provided based on the Angie's List recommendations to handle a minor repair at my rental property. I texted first. No response. I called and was told "I have never done work for you before so I can't do this right now." I have been in business over 20 years. I have never told a new client calling my Company that I cannot help them now because I haven't worked with them before. It seems business is done differently these days.

It turned out it wasn't the problem but I wanted them to do it.

They had to replace the valves. Things were old and corroded. They installed new shut-off valves, a new water pipe for the toilet, and cut off the old leaking shut-off valves. They then soldered and replaced valves. We plan to call them for additional work in the bathroom. They showed up on time. They answer their phones, instead of it going to a recording. It's a father and son team. They were very knowledgeable and competent. They explained everything as they did the repairs. Their prices were fair and straightforward.

He determined that my plumbing is fine. Pressure is good everywhere. I just need to clean some of my faucet screens. They were very nice and informative about the situation. I will call them again next time I have a problem. I later learned that perhaps there was a water main break somewhere in my neighborhood. Maybe it was just enough pressure loss to only affect certain faucets. I don't know for sure, but the plumber was very helpful, and did not try to perform any unneeded services. Thanks GPS.

I appreciate that Ed and Ryan delivered as promised, are professionals and went the extra mile by giving help and advice regarding some deferred maintenance issues around my house. They provided excellent service with smiles on!
