GPS Plumbing

I first spoke to Dave at Dave's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning (http://www.davesplumbingfl.com/), but he was busy for a couple days. To his credit, he recommended that I call Ed at GPS. I thought I had a leak in the slab. Thankfully, the leak was a fitting under the bathroom sink, not in the slab. Ed and his son Ryan were at my house about an hour and a half after my first call. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend.

They didn't even charge me and came back the very next day for another couple hours to try and finally solve the problem and they did!

Ed and Ryan are my new super hero plumbers!! They are friendly, professional, courteous and neat (as in cleaning up messes created, but also 2 really NEAT guys.) I have used different plumbing companies over the years, and never been totally satisfied with the end products. For any future problems, they will be on speed dial! Highly recommend GPS for quality workmanship.

Overall itt went great. I called up GPS in the morning and spoke with Ryan, who politely told me that they would not be able to come out to my place until the afternoon. He called me up early in the afternoon, as he said, and promptly arrived at my house. I explained the issue and showed them the backed up water in my sink and laundry room and they quickly determined what to do. Ed and Ryan quickly found the drain pipe exit near the front of my house, dug down to clear away dirt from the access port. As they were working, Ed was explaining to me exactly what they were doing. He also warned me that if the snaking did not work, the grey water tank might need to be pumped and he recommended a local septic service, if necessary. Fortunately, the snaking worked and the drains are running freely now! The whole appointment took about 30 minutes to complete. Both Ed and Ryan were very pleasant to deal with and I will surely call them for any future plumbing needs.

He came in and got right to work. The sink was un-clogged within minutes! Was able to come to my house within two hours from a phone call that morning. Very pleased.

Well, Eddie and his son were right on time, something that I really appreciate and makes me a life long customer. They investigated the issues I was having and had a solution right away. They were in and out in a half hour tops. Eddie also told me the problem I was having and how to correct it (give up my fluffy TP and or flush more than once). Thanks again Eddie you are the man!

We had an issue with our septic backing up and Ed was the only plumber we called that answered the phone and came out shortly after we spoke. Ed and his son were professional & kind. Evab though the problem corrected itself before he came he stayed and made sure the clog was clear and that there wasn't a real issue with the plumbing. GPS is great and I recommend them to anyone needing a plumber!

Ed and his son (GPS Plumbing) have been hard at work this morning and still are working!!! I just could not write a review fast enough as my appreciation for his expertise, honesty has literally SAVED MY HOME! I have a older (built in 57) beach side home in Satellite Beach. He knew even before he drilled into the slab that the old cast iron pipe would need to be replaced. Sure enough, not only was it cracked, broke, and pretty much disappearing, he discovered that when the house was first built there was evidently a plumbing problem and a leak. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE BUILDERS/PLUMBERS who originally built this house knew there was a leak and covered it up by pouring cement around it and under the slab? Another plumber had suggested I just let it go, it was draining (OK) and it probably wasn't necessary to go through with jack hammering my floor up. However, my hallway bathroom and its tub, is adjacent to my kitchen which at the moment is open to the studs getting prepped for a remodel / reconstruction. Ed told me, he felt very strongly that if I were his family member he would make me do it. He was certain that the cast iron peat trap / waste pipe was in need of replacement, and it would be much easier and cost effective to fix it now while the wall was open, rather than risk it leaking in 5-6 months maybe even a year and then it potentially ruin my new walls, cabinets, and have to rip out the old cast iron tub and take apart the bathroom later. I AM SO GLAD I TOOK HIS ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure enough, he was spot on his diagnosis and suspicions. Unfortunately I am most likely going to need to fix and replace more piping further in under the slab becasue he can't very well attach new piping to old corroding piping (NOR WOULD HE). Getting this problem resolved is currently in progress, and without a shadow of a doubt, GPS plumbing has just saved me an estimated $10K or more in future repairs!!!!!!!!!!! The service took a little more then an hour. My appointment was 10AM and they were running a head of schedule and showed up early to my delight. Both gentleman were very professional and personable- father and son team. I will definitely used them again if needed!

I cannot thank Ed and Ryan enough for coming to my home! They were prompt, friendly, and most of all honest! How do you receive bad news about plumbing issues and still have a smile on your face? You call GPS plumbing!!!!!! Not in the history of my family, has any contractor survived the pre hire interrogation of my architect/engineer Norwegian (DO IT RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL) father. Ed & Ryan found my issues right away, explained everything and pointed out a few other things I overlooked before. They put me in touch with the people I needed for the things they didn't do, let me know exactly what was the problem, and for the first time in a long time with this home I feel like I can trust someone with my pipes. Not well. This GPS Plumbing service must have had a personality difference with one of the guards, therefore won't work in this park of approx. 700 Mobile Homes....

GPS Plumbing was referred to me by another plumber i called from Angie's list. This immediately says a lot to me because now the referring plumber's reputation is at stake if GPS performed poorly. This kind of mutual respect among competitors makes both parties look good. I spoke with Ryan (the son) over the phone and he was willing to give me a quote and clearly explained what could cause that price to go up after the initial on-site assessment. He was very pleasant to talk to over the phone. He arrived when he said he would and we talked about the situation. He was very professional and immediately instilled confidence by his knowledgeable yet easy to understand explanation of his approach to the problem. The most important thing to me as a customer in need, is that he took the time to patiently listen to everything I had to say about the situation. He did the job right, with respect for property my and need to understand what he was doing. This young man provided that sterling level of service one might normally expect from an older, more seasoned provider. He was obviously trained the right way, so I can only assume his Dad is at least as good. I would call them back to help me with plumbing problems I may have in the future and definitely recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

They were fast, efficient and they explained all the work they performed.

I would give them "A's." They took care of everything. The total repair ran for $150. From what I know with plumbing companies, it's typical. We didn't have any issues with them. They gave us a quote for them to do the work. We thought the quote was fair. They came out when they werer supposed to. Their people were friendly.

They were on the scene within a half hour and solved all the problems within an hour. Really nice people and very professional. Also put in a new shower I head we had already purchased and didn't charge extra. It was a great experience and I use them again when needed.

GPS called us and let us know when they would be here.They arrived earlier than the original appointment which was good for us. They were professional and friendly. They talked to with me about the problem and what the cost would be up front and what would need to be done to take care of it. The repairs went smoothly and the water heater works fine. It was really good to deal with that level of professionalism. If another problem happens I will be sure to call them and I will recommend them to other people.

FOUND WATER STAIN ON BACK BEDROOM CEILING ,,,DUE TO PREVIOUS EXCELLENT WORK DONE BY ED AND HIS SON I CALLED THEM TO DO THIS REPAIR JOB ,,,,AGAIN, I FOUND ED AND SON TO BE VERY PROMPT ON THE TIME THE SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE TO EXAMINE AND CONDITION AND START THEIR WORK ! THEY AGAIN PERFORMED THE WORK IN A VERY TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND GAVE THE COST OF REPAIRS BEFORE STARTING THE JOB WHICH IS THE RIGHT WAY OF DOING BUSINESS YET OTHER PLUMBERS DONT FOLLOW THIS POLICY WHICH CAN CAUSE A CONSUMER A BIG HEADACHE ! This provider was selected as a result of an Angie's List search and the father/son team reinforced all the positive comments I found in Angie's List reviews. The final price was as quoted and the work performed promptly and professionally. They even arrived a bit ahead of the quoted time and they inspected all the other toilets in the house to assess whether any of them had issues -- which they didn't; but If they develop problems, I will call GPS again. I also appreciated being shown how to turn-off the water supply to the entire house, should the need ever arise. Thank you, GPS.

They were extremely professional arriving on-time and within two hours the problem was remedied. They replaced the garbage disposal with the same unit model and the price was very reasonable. There was no service charge even though they came out the day before a holiday and within the promised two hour arrival time. We will definitely use them again. They were excellent and very friendly.

I would highly recommend GPS - they are trustworthy and reliable. They did a fantastic job in fixing the leak that we had, with what seems like a simple fix - a new washer and some grit to tighten everything up. I enjoyed their professionalism and pleasant attitude. I will definitely have them back upon the next plumbing challenge!

Extremely fast service. I had my nee water heater installed and working within 3 hours of my first call.

They had my old toilet out in no time. They also inspected my hot water heater and other areas for water leaks as I was having unusually high water bills. The toilet was the culprit and since it was very old (1972), I decided to just have it replaced. They had a trailer with them that has possible items for the customer on it such as toilets. This saved a good deal of time having this with them. t

A father and son team that are great! They were able to come the same day to fix my problem. They were knowledgeable and speedy. I would use them again and I definitely recommend GPS Plumbing.
