Gallo rosso woodwork and design

We hired this contractor (Gallo Rosso woodwork and design) to remodel our kitchen after it was damaged by water, needless to say what work was done is below moderate at best. Made multiple promises to complete the job and after 7 months, still waiting. Jan 2021 to July 2021... Having another contractor come in to finish not only the work Gallo Rosso started but to fix all the mistakes they made. HORRIBLE work ethic and HORRIBLE work. If you hire them, remember you were warned. Wish all who need work done in finding a professional, competent contractor. If the new contractor is good, I will post and let you know. Sharing my HORRIBLE experience with Gallo rosso woodwork and design and Miguel the owner. — we hired Miguel and his (at the time) partner Tim 5 MONTHS ago... we hired them to do shiplap wall, floating shelves, and build an entertainment system. He quoted us that it would take 3-4 weeks in total. He since then strung us along, lied to us numerous times about how far along he was, and would ignore my texts or calls for weeks at a time. I told him, we were NOT rushing him, we would be patient, but to give us the courtesy of good communication, that’s all we ever asked for. He would finally respond weeks later saying he would do better. He kept giving us install/delivery dates and then not showing up, not responding and just leaving us high and dry. He has no clue how to run his business, and his quality of work is amature at best. Last night out of the blue, (he was supposed to install yesterday, again) he texted me and just told me he was going to bail on the project and he isn’t able to do it. Keep in mind 3 months ago, he told me he is “almost done.” After he texted me that, he BLOCKED my number, and had his wife block my number also. WHAT A CHILD! seriously, the most unprofessional, and just horrible experience. I got through to him on my wife’s phone, and when I told him how upset we were and how he doesn’t seem to care he just said “ok” and then blocked my wife also. So, needless to say, we DO NOT recommend ever giving him your business. Boarder line FRAUD. Full of fake promises, lies, and just stringing you along.
