Description of Work: They came for an emergency service for slab leak. I called at 8:00 am and they said they would call back to schedule time. They called back and said a plumber would come over around noon after he finished his current job. Dave, came at 12:45. I explained what was going on and that my tile was hot in the family room and my closet was wet. He said it was probably a leaking hot water pipe and where was the hottest area. Told him which tile was the hottest and advised I only had 4 tiles for replacement. He drilled out one tile and found leak, placed cardboard down and used pails to place dirt in and found bent pipe. Used shark bites to to repair, cleaned up very good. Advised that leak in closet was probably because foundation was cracked and pressure from leak had to surface somewhere. Two weeks later closet dry, we cleaned carpet in closet, next day we replaced the one broken tile and then grouted it. You would never know there was a leak in my foundation. Thank you Dave for doing a great job. I highly recommend Dave, a 20 year experienced plumber.

Description of Work: They have been to my home a couple times to look for leaks and repaired an exposed leak in my bathroom.

Description of Work: Diagnosed my issue as a water filled outdoor flood light socket and an out door transformer had a loose wire nut connection. Replaced a GFI outlet that was impacted. Probably not necessary but better to wear a belt and suspenders with electricity. Two very simple problems I should have figured out myself.

Description of Work: I used East Coast Plumbing. The first plumber came along and messed it up. The second plumber they sent around, did a better job. I had a leaking faucet in the flower bed. They had to replace it. I had a dripping faucet in my kitchen also.

Description of Work: FIXED A SHOWER LEAK

Description of Work: I thought the shower was leaking water but it turned out a bathroom sinks outflow pipe had rotted and was the cause of the water collecting in the bathroom. The plummer did a good job of locating the source of the problem. A toilet had to be removed to get access to the bad pipe. He had do drill through the tile and wall to reach the pipe. The drilling area was behind the toilet. He did the minimal of damage to the wall that was required to access the rotted pipe. He spent about five hours. These Melbourne houses from the late 1960's have pipes going out as they age. We used East Coast to repipe the intake plumming under the house a few years ago. They do a professional and thorough job. I do not believe the charges are excessive considering the man-hours involved. The important thing with plumming is that it be done correctly and I feel ECP has done that quite well. I hope I have no more plumming problems, if I did, I would use them again. My only complaint is that the first day I called them, I spent a day waiting for them and nobody showed up. They need to make sure the person at the desk who answers the phones is on top of things. This is true for all businesses. My biggest complaint in general is that the people answering the phones do not seem to know what they are doing. Perhaps they are overworked and under staffed like everybody else these days. But the point of sale, the point of contact with the customer, is that person at desk who answers the phone. That is vitally important..

Description of Work: I used the services of East Coast Plumbing Company Incorporated in September 2011 as I had a plumbing issue.

Description of Work: East Coast Plumbing sent out an employee to clear the toilet plumbing on a Sunday night at 9:30 pm. We had never used them before. The plumber had to auger the line twice and test it 4 times before the pipes were free and the toilet stopped overflowing. We paid $125.00 for the service call and for about 40 minutes of work.
