Auger technician deferred service to manufacturer, Whrlpool, technician to come make repairs. As Thanksgiving was in 2 days, I replaced the water heater later that day only to learn there was no power to the unit. I was able to get an electrician later that day to make a service call - the circuit breaker to the water heater needed replacement. He replaced the circuit breaker and the new water heater has worked fine since then. I had a perfectly good Whirlpool water heater that I replaced thinking it had gone bad based on the Auger technician's findings. That UNNECESSARY replacement cost me $1,285 - funds I didn't need to spend; funds I sorely needed for other repairs and bill payments. When I advised Auger ownership of what had transpired, no offer was made to effect any restitution.

Shawn from Auger Plumbing showed up earlier than originally scheduled but checked the night before to see if it was okay if he could get here sooner than originally scheduled. He fixed the leak in a timely manner, and then checked water flow inside to make sure everything was working well. Work was affordable and professional and came with a year warranty.

She showed up at exactly the right time and it took her less than an hour to remove the existing faucet and replace with the new. She showed me a gadget that came with the faucet to use to clean the screen if needed and also showed me how to fill the soap dispenser. Very pleasant and professional. The only thing that surprised me was they charge a $65.00 price for a service call and then it was $95 for the actual labor of the faucet. I would think that if they come and you have them do the work, they wouldn't charge the service call, but only charge if you do not have them do the work...But then, I don't have much experience as to how that works. I was just kind of surprised at that is all. I would definitely recommend this Plumbing company and will call them again if need be.

I had a leaking pipe on the toilet and they fixed it. We had them replaced two water heaters and six toilets before and we have always been happy.

Both representatives of Auger Plumbing we're punctual, courteous and efficient.

I asked them to remove the garbage disposal since I didn't need it. They said it would be $120. He took it out without complications, then charged me $177.50. $85 labor, $65 service call, and the rest for materials. He said the quote didn't include labor or the service fee. He was only here for 30 minutes. He lied to me and stole $65 and left stains in the sink. I called 5 times and asked nicely what to use to get the stains out or if they'd come out to fix it. It wasn't until the 5th phone call that a woman got on the phone and said in a nasty tone, "We're Christians. We don't lie. The stains were there before." They fixed it, and while they were here they were nice, but because of all these issues.

Called and men were finishing a job in my area and were at my house within 20 minutes. Very nice and did a very good job and left both work areas clean. Will call again for all my plumbing needs.

I had to call them back to instruct me on the use of the timer which I thought had stopped working, but it was just that I wasn't adjusting it correctly. They spent about 15 minutes explaining it to me. No charge for the second visit. I was very please with their service overall. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done.

I have been very happy with him. It is a family run business and they have been around forever. They are very honest and they have always done good work for me.

I called James Auger Plumbing and told them of the urgent nature of my problem. They took my number and very shortly later, the plumber called me and said they would get to it the same day. They came out on time and efficiently fixed the problem. Since this was at my tenant's house, they mailed me the bill which really saved me a lot of trouble of having to meet them and pay the bill.

Jim was on time and immediately went to work. He and his assistant completely repaired the leaks and operation of the two toilets and cleaned the work area beautifully.

I observed the efforts made and frequently voiced my objections as to the diagnosis.The "plumber", I found out later was not licensed and was what I would consider as incompetent. The worker was overwhelmed and finally, called Mr. Auger, who was out of state, for advice. This resulted in the removal and taking apart the mixing valve which had nothing to do with the problem. I strongly protested this decision, but I was told that this had to be done to correct the problem. Needless to say, this is where the real nightmare began. When this did not remedy the problem and after two hours, the technician said that's all I can do and began to pack up her tools and left with the main water valve turned off. I refused to pay. After two days , due to Labor Day, with my single mom daughter and three children having no water, I drove to Tucker's Plumbing and Supply who was very helpful. They printed out a diagram of my specific faucet, explained how the faucet operates and how to fix it. They told me it is a simple repair, but if I had difficulty to call them and they would send someone out. The parts I needed cost $3.50. I went home and found the Auger's employee had placed the cup washer into the seat and then the spring followed by another cup washer. The correct placement is the sping goes into the seat followed by the cup washer. I changed it and it worked fine. It aws just that simple!!! NIGHTMARE TIME!!!! When I turned the water on to test the faucet, I could hear water running after I turned the faucet off. It sounded like someone left a faucet open during the two days the water was off. I walked around the house and went outside to check those faucets and checked the water heater. Nothing open. By the time I got back to the bath room, the floor was covered with water. I ran outside and shut the main valve off. I came back in tto discover the water had traveled into the adjacent laundry room and on into the front bedroom soaking about half of the wall to wall carpeting in that room!!! I immediately called Auger's and got the same person that botched the job. I was quite upset when I was told that she had left the water off and was not responsible. I insisted that she contac Mr Auger and get a licensed plumber over here to repair this disaster.I requested on three separate occassions that Mr Auger contact me. Its been nearly three weeks and still nothing!! On Tuesday night around 7 pm, a master plumber showed up to try and straighten this out. It took him 4 hours to correct the disaster. The Auger person had disassembled the mixer valve and did not put it back in correctly. She left out the O ring that seals the valve and prevents leaks. In addition, she used two screws that were designed for sheet metal and not a brass fitting. The valve has four screws. It was held in place with two. The other two she had replaced (probably dropped the originals into the wall).with ones that were not only improper, but too short. The result was a virtual waterfall in my wall!! .This not the first time I used Auger's Plumbing, but it is certainly the last!!!!ff.

I have used Auger's Plumbing many times. He is prompt in returning my call and came the following day. His work is professional and he is neat and clean. I will use them again

This company was professional, courteous, hardworking. I can't think of enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful group of people. They worked hard, found where the pipe had separated and fixed the problem. They cleaned up everything and did not leave a trace. A fantastic Christian based company with values and ethics I haven't seen in a long time.Have referred them several times and will continue to.
