A-Best Air & Heat

Very nice from the beginning with a caring voice on the phone. Tech was supposed to show up between 2 and 4 pm. He called at 1:30 and was at my house at 1:50. Which is a very nice change from other service companies. He also did not stop until he was done which was under an hour for the repair putting him early for the next customer. The tech also answered all my questions and never got annoyed. Great job and great people. The price was also a competative price. Thank you A-Best.

A-Best arrived to replace my neighbors ac unit in the morning. After I left, A-Best mistakenly disconnected my ac unit, not my neighbors. When I got home later that day, A-Best were still working on my neighbors condo and my condo was hot and would turn on. We asked the tech Richard ,working on my neighbors condo, if he could have disconnected the wrong ac unit accidentally, he said, "no." I told Richard there was a problem with my AC. He said, "it's not my problem" and walked away. When the condo maintenance supervisor came to check the electric, he discovered that A-Best disconnected the wrong ac unit. The maintenance man pointed out to A-Best tech Richard and he disconnected the wrong ac unit. I called A-Best and they said Richard would look at it after he finished installing the neighbors unit inside after 8 pm. We asked for them to send someone else, they refused. A-Best finished at the neighbors and left. We contacted a different ac company who arrived the next morning to reconnected our ac unit. We were without ac for 28 hours because A-Best disconnected the wrong condo ac system.

They provided very quick response arriving at 1 pm following our initial call at about 8 am. Diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the capacitor to get our AC operational again.

They did a good job. It only took one day.

I have them come out at the beginning of each year. We've been using them for about 10 years. It's their professionalism and how well they do their job and how well they explain things to you. Of course down in Florida there are so many things going on with air conditioning services that are not legit, if you will. A-Best have been around for a while and all my neighbors use them. They are good folks all around.

Responded quickly and got my new AC in within a couple days. Technitians were polite, contained the mess, cleaned up before they left the house. Had the new unit installed and working within a couple of hours. Great job!

I noticed my clothes were not drying a well as they should. I called up A Best, as i always do, and they put me on the schedule to come out and clean the dryer vent the same day. While the Technician was there he recommend to have the ducts cleaned out also, I was surprised to hear he could complete the duct cleaning when he was finished with the dryer vent cleaning. They did another wonderful job as always. Thank you for your continued excellent service. You never let me down.

Replacing the fuse worked, but only for 12 hours, causing a difficult to reproduce problem to be resolved. The technician, Eric, very quickly narrowed down the problem to a bare wire causing a short circuit in the outside unit. He was great, as was the contact person I spoke with when I first called. She is clearly very knowledgeable as well. I have used this company for many years and recommend them highly. In addition to their excellent work, they respond very quickly.

A very positive experience. Saturday afternoon and we had been out of the house much of the day. Came home to find the house in the mid 80's. I did a few self checks and called A-Best. The person answering the phone told me to shut off the compressor and run the fan. She said a tech would be there before 4:00 pm. This was shortly after 3:00. Jeremy, the tech, was there well before 4:00. The unit had frozen up. He cleaned the filter, replaced a contactor in the compressor unit and flushed the drainage line. He gave me a list of recommendations and also gave me a list of things I could do to help prolong the life of the system. He was courteous, professional and extremely competent. I was well pleased with all aspects of the service.

Excellent service. We learned of them on Angie's list a while back. Best decision we ever made was to use them. They're prompt, trustworthy, dependable and professional. The best part is we had the same service man for each of our service requests which makes it more comfortable.

The technician, Jeremy, arrived at the scheduled time and did a thorough search for leaks on the coolant system. Jeremy was very professional and went immediately to work after talking to me about the problem. Only one leak source was located, repaired and then Jeremy made sure the system was in working order before leaving.

My air conditioner wasn't working so I scheduled a service appointment about 1 week out. Late in the afternoon the day before the appointment was scheduled Gail called to cancel the appointment saying she couldn't get someone out here at the scheduled time and didn't know when she would be able to get someone here. Don't know why they scheduled the appointment if they were not going to keep it. Very unprofessional. Definitely would not contact them again.

Technician was right on time, knowledgeable and very helpful. Called one day to make appointment, and they were here the next day.

They showed up early, but called to warn us, so it was more than okay. The repairman knew what he was doing, was pleasant and considerate. He accomplished the work in a timely manner and so far, so good. We highly recommend this company.

Rep was on time and was able to identify the issue and repair onsite- had all the tools to replace part of unit that burned out. I did not feel at any time that he was there to and quot;upselland quot; me or to find hidden costs- he explained the issue and found the issue fairly quickly. I would definitely use them again...

I called a little after 11:00 am and said I needed the AC checked I was told a technician would be here between 12:00 and 2:00, that same day A little after 12:00, the technician, Jeremy, arrived He started right away After taking the cover off the blower assembly, he showed me the dirt build up on the blower fan and explained that with that much dirt it was making the fan less efficient and adding a strain onto the motor After completing the blower assembly, he completed the rest of the AC inspection with no further problems He was in, did his work and out in an hour Jeremy provided information and suggestions to keep the AC in top performance the rest of the year He was fantastic He has been with the company 7 years This credit on himself for really loving his job and credit on the company for keeping a technician of Jeremy's high caliber

Very Satisfied with service

Keith came out to my house to clean my ac coils in a new house I was just buying. Keith came out on time and got right to work. He was very friendly and professional and showed me everything he was doing. He then showed me that my blower wheel was very dirty and would highly recommend getting that cleaned as well which was a small fee more but well worth it. He showed them both to me before he cleaned them and after. It was such a huge difference!!! He stayed for a long time and did quality work. I called multiple places and the prices with A-Best were very competitive. I was very happy and would recommend them highly!!!

I was more than pleased by their professionalism, always prompt and quality work. I purchased their semi annual service and they are spot on in checking the unit and as always very professional. They have never tired to talk me into something I didn't truly need.

I called this company at 3pm on a friday afternoon, they had someone respond within an hour. The price that I was quoted on the phone was the same price I was charged, the service was prompt and efficient.

They were very good. They had to order a part to repair the air conditioner, and they did that quickly and did a good job. The guy that came out was very professional. He told us that we did not have to have the AC repaired, that he could fit more freon in it, but since we had bought this house in 2009, this would have been the third time that we would have freon put in the AC. He said he could do it again and that it would last for a while or he could repair it. He was honest. When I called the company and talked to them, they were very professional on the phone. The price was a whole a lot cheaper than replacing the air conditioner.

The installer was professional and prompt, but we called him back twice because the unit didn't seem able to keep the house cool enough. The renter living there now says her electric bill is much too high and the unit runs all the time. After having several other units replaced on other rental properties using a different company, I feel that A-Best put in a cheap unit and overcharged me. I will never use them again.
