Batterbee is #1 in roofing! Batterbee Roofing was recommended by a friend in the Villages. Also..Angi listed Batterbee as a reliable roofing contractor. They also contacted me and advised me that Batterbee was available..I am very happy with the process and the result. The staff and workers..especially Steve Estevez and Ivan Ramos were SO professional..they kept in touch with me during this whole process (I live up in Massachusetts)..I was constantly informed of everything that needed to be done and why it needed to be done..everything was explained to me very precisely and made absolute sense.. Batterbee did everything they said they will do from start to a perfect cleanup. My friend snapped before and after photos..All I can say is FANTASTIC WORK! They netted the whole house to facilitate cleanup. The crew was great..I could see by camera that they were knowledgeable and worked hard..someone was there all day to answer any question I had..Good job done in one day! HIRE BATTERBEE TO DO YOUR ROOF. YOU WONT BE SORRY!

The work done was very good.

The crew showed up at 8:30 AM and was completely finished by 6:30 PM. They were a hard working crew, very polite and did a very good job. The clean-up was very exceptional. After they finished I never found one nail.

An rep came out on a night that it started lightening - said he would come, take a video, call me to review and then comeback. They came back without notifying me and wrote up a note on a post-it-note and left on my door which I got when I returned from vacation (4 days later). Very unprofessional -- didn't seem to care that I wanted the vents replaced. It seems like they took the money ($99 special) and did not want to do any work so that the money could stay with them.

Never replied to my attempt to contact via Angie's List. Contacted vendor directly and had to push to get someone out (a month after I attempted first contact). They sent someone but never asked if I had a two story house so he came without a large enough ladder. They had to schedule someone else to come three days later. That appointment had to be rescheduled because another customer had to have their roof looked at before they closed on a house which was clearly more important than my job. I had to accept a mid day Sunday appointment which was not convenient for me at all. When they showed up they told me it was a minimum repair amount of $300 (which has now been increased to $599 due to high demand). So even though my repair was minor it would be $300 to seal because it was a repair which was awful because I already invested $100 in the voucher so I really didn't have a choice in the matter. Moral of the story, if you need a large job, they are probably fine but if it's a small fix, you have to pay a minimum no one tells you about until they are on site so don't spend a month trying to get on their calendar! At this point they have taken thier voucher off Angie's List but if they offer it again - don't buy it, it's worthless.

Did an excellent job of removing sky lights. Still have leak at joining area. They came out and tried to recreate the problem to see where the leak was, but was unable to do so. I still have the leak that runs from one end of my home to the other

It went well. Rep arrived on time, did the roof inspection, alerted me to a minor problem with two shingles that he fixed at no additional cost.

THE WORK FINALLY GOT DONE BUT THE UNETHICAL WAY HE GOT ME TO SIGN A CONTRACT WAS JUST WRONG. HE HAD NO INTENTIONS OF GETTING THE JOB DONE BEFORE CHRISTMAS . I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF THAT.

Batter bee's sent its senior roofer/estimator, Jasper Chambers, to our home. He was timely, professional, well spoken. Mr. Chambers actually went on the roof to do inspection on the spot. And was able to very quickly determine the problem. Incorrect underlay/foundation was used. Tar paper was used in this critical point where two roof lines join. Much water flows in this Valley. The correct underlay was supposed to be metal. Immediately, Mr. Chambers called our Contractor and described the problem and the solution. Batter-bees crew arrived the next morning to remove the problem area and reconstruct the valley correctly. Jasper was on site and insured every detail was correct, which it was. We have not had one drop since. We found it refreshing that Mr. Chambers personally called to check on us and the roof. I recently called Batter bees for another project, with no hesitation, and received immediate attention. Thank You For Your Professional Service.

I contacted Batterbee Roofing several months back to get an estimate on replacing my roof. I spoke to Crystal in the office who set the appointment and she was very pleasant. Jasper was the salesman who came to my home. He was courteous, professional, and provided me the best demonstration of the product I was interested in. On the day of installation there was a crew of 14! They completed my roof in a single day, very impressed. I didn't find a single nail in my yard. The $99 Angie's list expenditure was a complete waste as I will NOT be doing any busness with Batterbee Roofing.

Excellent installation by a coordinated crew with a professional crew chief. Best looking roof in the neighborhood. Located on a corner lot, curb appeal of the home is important. Great cleanup during and after installation. I do not expect any recalls. Added additional ridge venting, hopefully, the attic will be cooler. Highly recommend Batterbee Roofing.

Owner of the company mis-measured and ordered the wrong length of metal sheets for the front half of the house. Ten inches too short. We had to pressure them to re-order the correct sizing and install in a timely manner. The ridges on the sheet metal panels on the back side of the house do not align and are 1-2 inches off center. Their response to this was that the roof was not squared. We were financing through Lowe's, who originally forgot to place the order, which we discovered one month later upon calling to question the progress. It was 2 months with multiple phone calls to both Lowe's and the installers before the job was completed. The core crew of employees were nice, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. The roof is fine, looks good from the front and has no leaks to our knowledge (since rainy season has not hit yet). They did a fair job on clean up. We were still finding nails and screws in the ground for about a week. We covered the air conditioner upon discovering that the shingles and roof debris was falling into the fan/blower squirrel cage.

Yes we are pleased with the final outcome and as before, we will continue recommending Batterby Roofing. They will complete the new roof in one day, and are not going to do a project unless they know the weather will cooperate. They do the job in one day, clean up is immaculate and they make sure that rain does not fall on the work in process of completing the roof shingling.
