Wesley Whitson AC is by far the most stand-up, honest, and helpful outfit I have ever received services from. My AC died on a Wed eve and despite the time, I took a chance and called Wesley. To my surprise, Wesley answered and spent more time than I expected trying to help me with my AC problem over the phone. Unfortunately, we both arrived at the conclusion my 11-year old AC unit was finished. Wesley was more than willing to repair the unit, but it was not worth the expense. Wesley was able to put together a quote immediately and his installers were out on Friday morning (less than two days later) starting the install of my new Goodman unit. The installers (Rob & Matt) were extremely courteous and kept me in the loop through the entire installation. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable and had the unit professionally installed in no time. They made sure every detail was covered and even took some steps I never expected. The Goodman unit Wesley quoted was everything I was hoping for. It is extremely quiet, looks very well made, and cools very effectively. My home was 81-F when they first turned the unit on (fortunately my old AC waited until Fall to die), but the new unit cooled it down in no time. Really impressed with how effective it is and how much cooler and drier the house feels. I never write reviews, but Wesley Whitson AC and his crew impressed me that much!

The technician that came to the house to evaluate the situation was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and took the time to explain in details what could be the problem before starting, how he was going to proceed in order to identify the possible problems and nailed immediately after opening the A/C unit.

I need to start my review a couple of hours prior to Wesley showing up to my house and saving me a bundle..... Another company (Harrell Home Services) came out to my house to do an annual service. They offered a cheap introductory rate for the visit and I needed one this year - so I bit. They did the service and told me that My Freon was very low, that my evaporator was leaking and that my compressor was drawing very high amps. All bad news. Now my system is 17 years old so it could go any time but I maintain it and never had an issue. HHS presented me with fixes that ranged from $5K (to fix the system) up to $11K for a full top end replacement. To their credit they did not pressure me to buy ���today only special price.��� I then turned to HomeAdvisor (as I usually do for home repairs - good luck with them so far...) to get some additional bids for the job - put in my info and a bit later Wesley called me. I told him what happened and he offered to send one of his guys at NO charge just to verify that things were as bad as HHS told me. His guy came over and brought out an electronic leak detector, Freon gauge and an Amp meter ��� so I knew he was going to do a thorough job ��� even for free. When he opened my air handler he said it sure looked like my evaporator could be leaking. But he wanted to use the leak detector to be sure. After checking it on medium and high sensitivity ��� he declared that while it looked bad, it did not leak at all. Next he checked my Freon levels ��� if anything he said they were a bit high. He then checked the amp draw and after running both speeds of the compressor - said it was not high at all. He then checked the temp differential in the air handler to verify everything was working as well as the his equipment suggested it should. It passed with flying colors. He summed it up to me like this ���you may need an new system in a couple of years, a couple of months or a couple of days since it is an old system, and we would be happy to sell you one, but you don���t need one today. Everything that they told you was wrong with your system is not true. It took him about 3o minutes all told and again this was a free service call. Even after all this work, we was not going to charge me anything, I insisted that he let me pay him for a service call at least and he finally said OK. Best $75 I ever spent. These guys are a class act and you can trust them. Highly recommended!

AC broke and I spent 2 weeks calling companies and receiving quotes. The quotes were either too high or I didn't trust the "salesperson" that was quoting the job. Logged onto home advisor and after reading all the reviews, I requested a quote from Wesley Whitson AC. He actually called a couple of times before I finally called him back. He asked what the issue was and shortly after he provided a quote via email. I accepted and set up an appt for install the next day. I even called a few days later at 7:00 am and he picked up and answered each one of my questions. Great service & pricing!!

#1 they are honest. We called them for a 2nd opinion so they came out and in little over an hour they found my motor not working went out and got a new one and replaced it and we had cool air again. The 1st company that came out tried selling me a whole new system as much as I want to bash that company I have such high praise for Wesley I just can't say enough good things about them.

Yes it gets hot in Florida. And when the a/c needs to be replaced, call Wesley Whitson A/C and Heating Service in Lake Mary, Florida. Installers, Rob and Mat showed up and went right to work. They answered questions for me all day and never lost anytime installing our new a/c and heating units. I love it when a job is done right, the first time. Let���s see: Westley came and talked about our needs, he gave us a great price on a great unit, the installers showed up on time, they cleaned as the work process continued, they tested and tested throughout the day. I could have gone with a national company but neighbors have used Whitson and all have been pleased, just like we are now. Thank you Westel, Rob and Mat. Wesley was amazing! He was able to come and fix out air conditioner within 1 hour of when I sent the email through this site. He was very helpful and the work for great.

I entered my request on Home Adviser from home on the evening my AC went out. Wesley called first thing the next morning and made an appointment to come out for an estimate. Since this unit was 24 years old & original to the house, I wasn't even considering a repair situation. it needed to be replaced. Wesley gave me a quote for a unit that was the proper size for my home with a much higher efficiency rating than the old unit. We scheduled the install for a few days later. The techs arrived on time and spent the next 4 hours replacing the air handler in my attic, no small job in Florida's August heat. Once that was done they quickly completed the installation of the outside compressor and it went to work to bring down the temperature in my home. By evening I was able to sleep with the house back to a comfortable temperature. I would definitely recommend Wesley Whitson AC Heating Services to friends and family. My son is a property manager in another Florida city and his guess of what I had paid for the new unit was $1200 higher than what I actually paid.
