Description of Work: Full kitchen remodel. Tony was great. Very helpful. Reasonable price and friendly, local, family service. They did whole house flooring 1 1/2 years ago with excellent results as well. I got several estimates for the kitchen remodel and Metro offered the best service at the best price. Would not go anywhere else in the future.

Description of Work: Metro Flooring is a family owned and operated business. We had wood floors installed throughout our home. Michael Bertalan, office manager, was helpful in selecting wood, tile and grouting. Work was done in a timely manner. All old rugs, trash and cardboard were hauled away by crew and floors were cleaned at the end of the job. Crew was efficient and worked diligently. The job was measured and later, inspected by the owner, Tony Bertalan. Interestingly, our crew chief, Sammy, was such a perfectionist no problems seem to crop up.

Description of Work: Metro Flooring installed over 1200 sq ft of tile in my home. They removed carpet, tile, and vinyl in different areas. The tile installation involved a lot of difficult cuts and angles, but the finished job looks great. I intend to consider them again when we replace the rest of the carpet in other rooms.

 + 0 moreThe installers arrived on time and conducted themselves in a very professional and friendly manner. The floors were beautiful when completed (on time, I might add). The installers even went so far as to give us detailed instructions on how to protect and maintain our new flooring. Overall, we have been very satisfied with the job this contractor performed. It has been over a year now, and we are still very happy.
Description of Work: We decided to replace carpeting in our office and 2nd bedroom, and also replace the mismatched laminate in the master bedroom and living room. We wanted to use a local contractor, and we chose Metro Flooring, not only for the price, but mainly for the speed that said they could have the job completed.

Description of Work: The salesman was great. I wasn't impress with the guy doing the install. He had a bad attitude. If I went with the company again I would not use the same installer.

 + 1 moreWe stopped by Metro to look at samples and get some ideas for what we wanted to do. After speaking with them in the show room, we step up an appointment at our house to view samples against our tile and walls. Tony, from Metro Flooring brought all the samples and was very professional, providing the positives and negatives of all that we looked at. We decided on an engineered wood for the den, living room and master bed room and laminate for the guest rooms, office and bonus room. We scheduled installation for the following week. The installers did a very good job. The only thing that we were not prepared for is how replacing over half the floors in your house turns you household upside down for a week! Other then that the finished product is very nice and we have had no problems. This is a good company and I would work with them again.
Description of Work: We decided to replace all the carpeting in our house with wood and laminate flooring. Over 1800 sq. ft. of carpet was removed and replaced. Carpeted stairs were also redone in laminate flooring.

 + -1 moreThey gave us an estimate, which we thought was a little high. But we found them to be prompt when they came to give us a bid. Overall, they seemed competent and decided to use someone else.
Description of Work: We had Metro come out to give an estimate, but ended up not using them. They were quoted us on replacing 1300 sq ft. of tile for a house that we just bought.

 + 0 moreThey came to investigate the problem of floor tile coming loose in the living room to see if a repair could be done. After agreeing that there was no way to match the existing tile we selected a new tile at the store. They came to start work when they said they would. Tony the owner stopped by to see how it was going during the job and then did a final walk through on the day they told me it would be completed to make sure we were satisfied with the install. We were completely satisfied.
Description of Work: Replaced floor tile in living room that was was coming up because of a poor application done by Home Depot. They removed existing tile in the kitchen and matched the tile in the living room.

 + -1 moreThey were excellent. We don?t have a very big house but they moved the furniture from one side of the room to the other so they could work. They were friendly and professional, and they did all four rooms in two days. They were terrific.
Description of Work: Metro Flooring pulled up our old carpet and laminate flooring, they padded what they needed to pad, then they installed new laminate flooring.
