We've used them for several years now. We have a heat pump. If they weren’t all “A’s”, I wouldn’t have called them back.

Service tech was thorough and patient. Did a great job isolating the problem and then fabricated a solution.

There Technician "Ryan" was very professional and thorough In the annual check up and even stopped a noise that it was making. He was a very personable person and I am pleased with all the work that he did.

They fixed the ducts and I no longer have to have fans in halls to keep back rooms cool! The AC was done almost 3 years ago by them and I rarely have an electric bill over $100. it's an efficient system and works very well. No more frozen flooding of condensers. They showed me how to maintain it. This is a very professional company. They explain the options they present and tell you why they would recommend one over the other. Great company to work with. Tech showed up exactly at the scheduled time. Tech was thorough in going over the system. He told me my options without pressuring me one way or the other. I am very happy with the resulting work.

Bill arrived on time and called before arriving. Bill did his check up and maintenance quickly and professionally. He explained what he was doing and answered my questions, especially the capacitor replacement. This was needed as the blower motor was running hot which most likely caused by the capacitor going bad or the motor going bad. Bill felt the problem was caused by the capacitor. He was correct. Replacing the blower motor would have been more expensive. Bill has always been easy to talk to in explaining and answering my questions. He is knowledgeable thorough and a pleasure to have in my home when I need my a/c serviced!

From the time that Matthew Roberts came to the house to assess our existing system and recommend a new inside and outside unit, to the time when they left our house after installing the new system, they were highly professional and did excellent quality work. We did not have an emergency situation, and we scheduled the work in advance, so we expected things to go smoothly. Not only did things go smoothly, but everyone involved was friendly, courteous, and worked efficiently. We were told it might take a day and a half, but it was all finished in one day. They installed a new 4-ton Trane system (inside and outside units), with new thermostats, and a new control panel, for our 3-zone system. Two of our existing dampers turned out to be malfunctioning, and they were able to get and install new damper motors for those two on the same day, so they completed the work that afternoon. The system has worked great ever since. I am extremely happy - we will definitely use them again. The Trane system that we bought was not cheap, but the price was fair, and well worth it when you consider that the job was done with such excellent quality.

The technician was clear and professional once I explained the issue that had not been fixed the first time around by another company. He was able to find the issue of a leak, weld it, revise his work to check for any other issues, refill the freon to the unit and left when the unit consistently started to cool.

Excellent customer service. As a new homeowner in Florida, I am still learning the ins and outs of the AC system. The system turned itself off and i contacted Matt Roberts as they are located in the same town. This was a weekend call. Michael called me back in a matter of 3 mins and explained what i could do to prevent a costly service call. I was on the phone with him approximately 3 times over the course of an hour and a half. He walked me through the cleaning of my drain lines and the systems is now working properly. I do need some minor work done on the system as discovered through my home inspection process and I am scheduling that today with Matt Roberts. I am also buying an annual service contract with them. Excellent service!!

Service and responsiveness was great! Called them around 2:00 and they were here within the hour. Keith was just awesome at explaining what had happened and did a great job at getting us and our house cool again. Great service, highly recommend!

When we called for an estimate, Steve came to our house within 24 hrs. and completed the estimate the same day. We set up an installation date for 5/28 @ 9:00AM. The team Mike, Mason and Ryan arrived on time. They worked throughout the day with removing the old system and building a new stand for the air handler (old plywood stand was found to be rotted out). During the day they encountered 3 or 4 unexpected problems, which they addressed without fuss at no additional cost to us. They left at 8:30PM, with our new system running, and told us they needed to return the following day for a few minor finishing touches. The following day, they finished up the job in about 30-45 minutes. My husband and I were completely satisfied by the work done by the team, the way they worked together, and cleaned up after the job. On the business website, the owner states: "our service techs will never try to upsell you on products or services you do not need." We found this to be true, unlike the other 2 businesses contacted for estimates. We were ready to change to a different A/C service. Based on the work done, we have signed an annual maintenance agreement with Matthew Roberts, Inc.

Start to finish, this was a painless and satisfying experience. Naomi and Jan in the office were pleasant and efficient in scheduling our tech and then keeping us informed of his expected arrival time. Michael, the field technician, arrived right on time and was fully equipped to diagnose our a/c problem and resolve the issue. He was entirely competent and experienced, and completely thorough in his procedures. We couldn't be more satisfied as customers and will now sign on to have this company maintain our a/c system on a regular, seasonal basis.

HIRE MATT ROBERTS TO REPLACE YOUR SYSTEM! In my experience, if you use another contractor you will be making a BIG mistake. Let me begin by stating that I have extensive experience in mechanical systems and also am no novice when it comes to home or industrial construction. My standards are high, and I expect any contractor I use to have complete working knowledge concerning the process they intend to perform, the product they sell and install, and have the same level of attention to detail as I do toward the project. I have two a/c units in my home. A five ton unit that does the heavy lifting for 2/3 of the house, and a three ton unit that takes care of the master suite and the remaining 1/3. I had reached an agreement with another contractor to replace both systems in August of 2014. This was to be a total R and R and use the top of the line Trane equipment for both systems. This contractor had done work for me before in replacing a Trane system in my guest house. They had done a decent job with that, and had met all my requests and expectations, so I decided to give them the opportunity on the main house. What a mistake! The job turned into a disaster. They did replace the five ton unit but it was a barely adequate install. As I said, they were supposed to do the three ton unit, but because of the debacle I fired them. That contractor is out of Sanford by the way. I am going to write the extensive review for them under their business title, and I am sure you will be able to figure out who they are. They get an F, mostly because of the owner and his unwillingness to solve the problem his salesman created. Be smart and do not hire them. Here, I just want to magnify Roberts A/C. Back to the story. Sharing the situation with my neighbor, she recommended Mathew Roberts A/C. I called Roberts office and Matt returned my call in short order. That's the first thumbs up. We set an appointment that was in the near future, not weeks away, which was another plus in their column. Unlike other companies, Matt came out to my home persoally to assess the project. He was on time, with a smile and a firm handshake, all of which are great first impressions. After our discussing and my cussing the current status, we struck a deal. This would be the first of three meetings by Matt on site before the install. Matt suggested an install technique that solved all the issues that were undone and unnoticed by the other contractor. When Matt's install team showed up on the day we had arranged, they were on time, worked like a great team, paid attention to my specific requests, and in all, did an outstanding job. The three ton system is running perfectly and Matt even found some things on the five ton unit that needed to be fixed and he addressed them at no extra charge. Matt is a true professional. He is a great guy and runs a great company. That is a rarity in the contractor world these days. I purposely waited a few months to do this review to see if my attitude would change or that there would be a problem with the equipment because of manufacturer defect or improper install. I have found neither. I know there will be maintenance issues in the future, as always with a/c units, and I am extremely pleased I know Matt Roberts. He gets all my future business weather he likes it or not. HE GETS AN A+

Matthew Roberts INC is a lifesaver! We had an HVAC mess on our hands. The original vendor had really don?t a poor job of installing our HVAC system. After going round and round with them, I called Matthew Roberts. WOW! What a breath of sanity and fresh air. Upon arrival, he quickly assessed the situation, got us back online and made a list of recommended next steps. He was very carful about ranking them in priority and severity. Happy with the results, we called back for a full on assessment of our poorly installed HVAC. We were looking to Matthew Roberts Inc fix the mess left behind by someone else. The assessment was a real eye opening experience. Three guys showed, including an expert in complex HVAC system (multi zone / multi air handlers). They spent several hours walking through every inch of the system ? from wiring, ducts, pressure lines, etc. The report was detailed and ranked in terms of cost. At the day of reckoning, I think an army of Matthew Roberts Inc, guys showed up. They compressed and estimated 3 days of work into one marathon day. They worked through the punch list we had built previously. All day long, the team worked hard. There was no playing around or idle hands. Everyone was heads down and working hard. The crew was professional, fast and courteous. They cleaned as they went, picking up snippits of trash and wire constantly. When they left, everything was swept, wiped and clean. They took all the trash with them. Everything was in tip-top shape. The multi-zones were tested and validated to work, the airflow was validated. Great experience and highly recommended. These guys know their stuff ? even the most complex systems, they *knew* it and knew how to make it work. Thank you!

I was so pleased with this company, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I have a rental property in Casselberry, and my tenant called me at 6:45 pm to say the air conditioner wasn't working. I immediately got on Angies List and began researching air conditioning companies. I was a little panicked, because it was so late, 7:10 pm, by the time I made the decision to call Matthew Roberts Inc, I'm so glad I did. I called and left a message, hoping for a call back first thing Tuesday morning. I was amazed to get a call back at 7:20 pm, from a very nice gentleman named Bill, who said he was only about 20 minutes away, and could go by right then. He explained it would be a higher price for the after hours service call, so I could make the decision to wait. The difference was 35.00 an hour more, and seemed quite reasonable, especially since It was my tenant. Bill went by, introduced himself, and began to diagnose the problem and repair it. My tenant was thrilled with his professionalism and courteous manner. The repair took a little over an hour and was well worth the price. He explained what the issue was to both of us and gave my tenant advice on how to avoid the issue in the future. I will only use Matthew Roberts Inc for any future air conditioning issues I may have.

Very happy with this company and its employee. Bill came out on a weekend made an emergency call in 90+ heat, replaced my air handler's locked up blower fan and motor with some salvaged parts he luckily found at his shop. I say lucky because getting new parts was not an option due to the time lag, leaving me with an uninhabitable house. The fact he took the time to find and use these salvaged parts rather than take the easy way and simply order new shows professionalism. His attitude was kind, knowledgeable, professional and got the job done promptly. Best of all he didn't rake me over with the $ervice charge even though he easily could because I was desperate. This is Florida, -middle of summer. You get the picture. These folks are straight shooters. I will not hesitate to call them again and highly recommend their service. Well done!!

I talked to Mike and he gave me a lot of good info on my ac and their service plans and how they worked. He also explained the price of duct work and told me if I needed it checked out he would come out and inspect it and let me know for sure what I might need. He gave me an estimate and said it was just an estimate of 1500 to 2000. I really appreciated the time he took to explain what I needed to do an how they would help. Michael came out within an hour of when we called. This was after business hours. He was friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. Diagnosed the problem quickly and completed repairs in about an hour. We were so satisfied with the service that we entered into a maintenance contract with them. Great job!

I am a do-it-yourselfer and attempted to repair my broken air conditioner. I fixed the unit properly but blew a fuse in the process and did not know where / how to find it. It is summertime in Florida and our house was getting pretty hot. I called Matthew Roberts to come help. The receptionist was friendly and personable. They offered to have someone there by the late afternoon (around 4 hours). Fifteen minutes later, I got an update and there was a tech at my home thirty minutes after I called. The technician, Kevin was polite, very helpful and appreciative of my effort to understand AC units and fix it myself. He was not condescending or discourteous as some professionals would be to a do-it-yourselfer. The fuse was replaced and my AC system was inspected as part of his service call. Throughout the inspection and repair, Kevin explained what he was doing and how to properly maintain the system. Not only did I get top-notch service but I got helpful instruction from an expert... it was well-worth my service call charge. This company was prompt and friendly from start to finish - I highly recommend them.
