Martin Tree Service

All went very well from start of getting quote for a great price to finished project. They came out quickly to give the estimate for what I found out later was a great price for the size of the tree and amount of work needing done. (This was a very large live oak tree) When I decided to go with them, they had time available quickly to schedule the work. We had to remove this beautiful tree as the roots were messing up the driveway and going under the house. They arrived when scheduled and went right to work. Being on a cul-de-sac, they make sure that their equipment did not block anyone in or prevent access. They had all the right equipment to do the job. I was extremely pleased in the amount of time it took them to get all done. I expected them to take all the day, but they arrived at 9:30 and was gone by 2:00. They shredded all the branches they could and loaded the bigger limbs on another truck. They then went to work grinding out the huge stump. They ground it out and even made sure that any surface roots were also taken out. They did a great job of taking out all the mulch created from the stump removal. Before they were done, they cleaned up the entire area (my driveway, the neighbors driveway and the cul-de-sac) When they left, the area looked the same, minus the tree.

The company representative scheduled two days for the job as the large oak was in the back yard with limited access. Four guys arrived the first day around 8:00 in the morning and went to work. It was a hot Florida day with temps in the 90's but the only break I noticed was for lunch. They otherwise worked nonstop until evening and finished the job in just one day! Both the front and back yard were cleared of debris; all chipped or loaded in a truck. This is the second job we hired them to do, the first being two years ago to trim those same trees. Would highly recommend!

The job was accomplished by the owner and three hard and working assistants. All debris removed. They stayed over three hours and the attention to detail in trimming the oak tree was exceptional. Outstanding Company! Ccffffcffffffcfffcfffffffffffffffffccccc.

We sent a picture of the tree and Martin Tree Service very quickly sent us a competitive quote. We hired them and they went out in a timely manner and took care of the job. They were done with the tree removal before other companies had even gotten back to me.

They did a really good job. It was a lot of work. We had big trees, the price was very fair.

Competitive quote. Showed up on time to perform the work. Team was gracious to answer my questions. They removed a large tree and ground down the stump and roots. Took extra care to help save a nest of new born squirrels. Cleaned up not just my property, but the street as well. They cleaned up everything. My neighbors did not realize any work had been done because the street was left so clean. Highly recommend.

After living in Florida for almost thirty years, I've had occasion to deal with a multitude of tradespeople in all areas of home and property maintenance. Martin Tree Services was -- by far -- the most professional organization I've hired. Their inside contact, Kellie, was knowledgeable, courteous, punctual and friendly. All documentation was handled quickly by email, and she made sure that I had procured the necessary arbor permit from the City of Lake Mary (I had). Paul, ostensibly the crew chief, was punctual, courteous and professional when he arrived to estimate the job. Kellie emailed the estimate to me in short order, and we set a date for the work to be done. The crew arrived on time with two large trucks, a stump grinder, a logging claw, a wood chipper, various power and pole saws, ladders, etc. They got straight to work, and when the trees were cut and trimmed and the stumps ground, proceeded to do a first-class job in cleaning up the property. I paid a bit more than other quotes I had received from competing firms, but relying on Angie's List reviews, decided that I'd get more "bang for the buck" with this company. It was a good decision. I certainly recommend them, and will hire them again for any future requirements.

Fantastic! A very well run and very efficient company. Had all the right tools and equipment for the job at hand. The job site was cleaned up, nothing left be hide for us to do. Every member worked as part of a team, no wasted effort. Every member had a job to do and it was done quickly and efficiently. Once the job started they did not stop until the job was completed. Highly recommend this company if you need any tree service done.

On time, very professional, did a great clean up job as well. Kellie in the office was most helpful getting the required permit from the City and always helpful with questions about the need for a replacement (a new policy for Winter Park). I will definitely use them again. Their price was very reasonable, half what another Angie's List vendor quoted for the same job.

The tree trimming and removal work was good quality and done in a timely manner, everyone was courteous and professional, and the clean-up afterward was excellent. I was happy to note that any debris that landed in my neighbors' yards were picked up and I didn't have to do any clean-up after them. I will use them in the future.

This is the second time Martin Tree Service has worked at my property, I highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future again when my trees need it. They are educated on how to properly trim and manicure which is what I needed. One of my neighbors down the street commented one time how my oaks are the nicest in the neighborhood (along with my next door neighbor who also uses Martin Tree Service annually).

The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They had all the equipment they needed to complete the job in one visit. the trees were removed and hauled away. the 3 stumps were ground down to below the surface and the area was raked and cleaned up. very professional and friendly crew hard working and thorough. I found Martin Tree Service through Angie's List and would use them again and recommend them my friends and neighbors

A large branch (diameter of branch - 3 1//2 feet!) fell off a tree in the back yard, filling the yard and revealing that the whole tree was rotten and needed to come out. The one large remaining branch arched over the back fence and over the alley way, over electrical wires. There were concerns that the remaining branch could come down at any time. When I called, the receptionist, I believe her name was Kelly, was professional, courteous, helpful and patient with me, answering my many questions. They were prompt in supplying me with a bid, showed up on time, did the work without any further damage to my fence and left my yard clean and ready to go. We are very pleased with their service.

We always use Martin's! The quotes always match the amount charged and their work is amazing. They are meticulous in their clean-up of the yard, too. Best tree service!

This is the second time I have used Martin Tree Service. Both times I got an estimate, and both times the various tree services quoted what they wanted to quote rather than what I asked for. Not true of Martin Tree Service! The first time I wanted a large oleander removed from my property, but I wanted to have the roots dug up, not have the stump ground. Martin Tree Service was only $50 more than the lowest price, but he was the only one who quoted to remove the roots. The work was great that time, so of course I had them bid when I wanted my queen palms removed. This was going to be expensive, I knew, but what I wanted was to have the two trees removed, and the stumps either removed or ground such that I could plant new trees in the same place. To further complicate matters, I had curbs around the trees that I hoped would not be damaged. Again, Martin Tree Service was the only company who quoted what I asked for. Three other companies quoted about $600, but stated that the stumps could not be ground any deeper than 5-6". Martin Tree Service came back with a $1050 estimate, but agreed to attempt not to damage the curbs (no guarantee could be made, and that is completely understandable), and agreed to grind the stumps deep enough to re-plant in the same location. Martin Tree Service did a great job. They not only removed the trees, but also ground the stumps deep enough to plant trees in the same place, and left NO mess (which shocked me). One of the curbs was cracked, but the crack is actually something that would happen over time anyway, it really doesn't amount to actual damage. I am very pleased with the work that Martin Tree Service has done, and I'd highly recommend them.
