We were extremely pleased with Kevin's Tree Service. My husband emailed them immediately following the hurricane. I doubted that any tree company would reply to an email request so soon after a hurricane, and figured that if they did it would cost a fortune...but fortunately I was proven wrong, and my husband made a great choice consulting Angie's List and choosing Kevin's Tree Service! We got an email reply by 6:30 in the morning, and following a phone call a crew of 6 arrived promptly with all the trucks and equipment. Our tree was half on the ground, but half of this 50 foot tree was looming precariously over our house and our neighbor's pool enclosure. It was a very tricky situation, and their lead tree expert was amazing in figuring out how to cut it down in portions, ensuring that the house and our neighbor's property was safe. They gave us an extremely fair price, and did a great job cleaning up everything...and the whole crew was very nice as well. I really couldn't be happier!!

Excellent. They were very professional, punctual and did a fantastic job. Hard working and would recommend to any of my friends.

We received an estimate fairly quickly and the estimate was competitive. Unfortunately, when we called to get the service scheduled they said they were a few weeks out and would get back with us. After a couple of weeks I called back to see how things were going and check on a time estimate. They said they were still a couple weeks out. I waited for a little over one month and called back again - they said they would call me back. After yet another month I called back and said we had been waiting for 3 months and wanted to check in to see if we had been scheduled at all. They said they'd have someone call back. No one ever called me back. I finally left a message advising them that I was disappointed in their lack of response and still have heard nothing back. Their lack of response was unwarranted especially in light of our repeated efforts since June to get this scheduled. It was a waste of time.

Estimate seemed high to me and I even told David had he given me a lower estimate I would have just gone with him. But because it seemed high, I would have to get another estimate to compare. I was confident the quality of the work would have been good based on my discussion with him as he was very professional. I got another estimate from a reputable company on Angie's list and it was almost half. So i used the other company.

It went great. Josh and his team were friendly, easy to work with and did an excellent job. They did a super job cleaning-up after their work. All-in-all, an outstanding job at a fair price. I found them via Angie's List and am glad that I did. I highly recommend them, otherwise I would not be writing this review. I am a retired engineer and am very exacting in any work that is done for me. These folks did a great job for me and you can count on them doing a great job for you.

Kyle showed up right on time to give me an estimate and the price was very reasonable. Although the actual work ended up being delayed for a couple of days after it was scheduled, they got to it quickly and did an excellent job trimming my very large oak tree. They also did an amazingly thorough job cleaning up all the tree debris from my yard. I'm a very happy customer!

I caught them starting to cut down a tree that served as privacy to us and wasn't supposed to be touched. So, there was not good communication between the person with whom I talked about the job and the crew. They also let parts of tree fall on the yard creating indentations, which weren't hard for me to fix, but one fell on the patio and that was more difficult to fix. Otherwise, they did what I wanted them to do, and the members of the crew were very nice.

Great! I will look forward to recommending them to my friends. A crew of four very nice men arrived and immediately got to work. Needed no direction. Did the work exactly as I had been promised and did a more than thorough clean-up/haul away. The price actually surprised me in that it was lower than I thought a tree service would charge. They were the first company I called for a bid, but didn't get any other bids based on Kevin's price and the professionalism of the young man who came and gave me the estimate.

He was punctual and he recommended the other man to me for work they did not do. They were so busy me at the time but let me know they could get to me in 3-4 days and I understood. He is very professional.

Awesome. These guys were great. They worked their butt off and took care of everything I asked them to do. Came in ahead of schedule and did everything I asked them to do. Thanks so much to these guys.

Great job-cleaned everything up. No muss-No fuss

It was very disappointing. After reading the reviews in Angieslist.com I decided for this company even that I knew it wasn't the cheapest. 1) I have to do several calls to get somebody to do a quote. They kept promising they will go. 2) They quoted nine trees. I have three trees at the front and three trees in the back. So they quoted me my neighbors trees (???). 3) I call them to revise the quote and they never call me back (they promised to do so). 4) They person answering the phone is very unfriendly. She doesn't have any information. She is always in a hurry. After two weeks of dealing with this company, I desisted. They quoted nine palms for $ 675.00.

They did a fabulous job, it was a tricky job to not damage pool concrete and not damage plants, and it went absolutely perfect. Alex, Dan and Grandpa were very friendly, cleaned up all around, and again....just a great job!

It went great, I will definitely use them again in the future. They were punctual and cleaned up to themselves.

Kevin was able to give me a quote on the first visit, and the work was performed a few days later on a day that was convenient for me. Crew was on time and finished surprisingly quickly. They took care to not damage the bushes/fencing/house around the trees. The stumps (I didn't require grinding) were cut very low to the ground. Kevin and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

They came on time and gave me an estimate. The price was great and we arranged a date for the service. The crew came on time and were polite, professional and totally capable. They removed a large limb leaning on the house roof and all the branches rubbing the roof of the house and shed. They cleaned up the site and, if not for my knowing which branches were removed, left no sign that they were there. Best of all, they did all this with no one at home to check. I had a doctor appointment that I could not change so we had to leave shortly after they arrived and we came home to a completed job. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Super. The six guys showed up a little early and immediately got to work. Josh, the foreman, was also the tree climber. I was very much amazed at how they were able to fell that huge tree in an space between two areas of plants. When it came down my cat and I both heard it and jumped a bit; heavy tree. There was great team work by the men who were here; everyone worked together and they left my back yard none the worse for the wear. I already have a phone call in to Kevin to get an estimate to thin out branches in a stand of trees I have in my front yard. Kevin is my go to arborist.

Everything, I mean everything, went exactly as it should have. Kevin and the crew did a great job at a fair price. It's not too hard to be successful in any business. Show up on time. Do a good job in quick and professional manner. This is what you get with this company.

They showed up on time, which was nice. They also did the work to my specifications, and i was satisfied with the end result. They did a very good job.

Kevin was very professional when he arrived to give me the estimate. I called back a couple of days later to schedule the job and was told Kevin would call me. A woman called me a few days later to schedule. The crew arrived early and had the job done in less than 2 hours and cleaned all up very well. Crew was all business and courteous. Would definitely use them again. I have had a lot of tree work done on the property and Kevin's team was the best. They were not the lowest price ( had another estimate for $800) but I was happy to pay the extra dollars for the service I received.

Everything went great! The trimming was done very well without removing too many limbs. The sun can now reach some parts of my yard that hasn't seen the sun in some time. Also, the estimate was what it cost me, nothing more. Kevin explained the cost by tree. We have used Kevin in the past and will continue to use his services in the future.

I obtained several written quotes from tree service companies recommended here on Angie's List. I decided to go with Kevin after comparing the estimates and reviews from here. I contacted the office to schedule the service and was informed that not only does Kevin do all of his own estimates, he also creates the schedule. I was promised a call before weeks end by Kevin in order to fit me into the schedule. As promised Kevin called and provided a work date of February 17, which was about 2 weeks out. February 17 comes along and voila, there is a crane, a cherry picker, stump grinder, a chipper, and about 10 guys working on the project. Kevin's crew had to move a couple of patio furniture items and a couple of privacy fence panels in order to safely complete the job. Within a few short hours all of the work was done, everything was cleaned up, and everything moved by the crew was placed back in its position. I was even more impressed when one of the supervisors on the job pointed out to me who Kevin's son was. The next thing I see is the owner's son climbing onto the cherry picker, and going to the top of the laurel oak to cut it down. None of the, my dad owns this place so you do this, or I don't do that. It was hard work and leadership from the front, both values that are not often found. Overall I was very impressed with the company, their efficiency, and their work ethic. I will undoubtedly hire them again for any other tree trimming on any of my remaining large oak trees.

Fantastic! They showed up on time and were nice and friendly. They walked through the series they were about to perform and they were done very quickly. They removed all of the debris and even took the time to blow all of the leaves away, which I did not even ask them to do! After completing the job, they took the time to walk me through all of the work they did. They also wanted to confirm that I was satisfied before leaving! I will definitely be calling them soon to have a few trees removed! I can't say enough positive things about Kevins! A++++++ highly recommended!!!!!!
