They arrived on time, were courteous and professional. They did an excellent job, cleaned up and even straightened a fence rod that has been bent for more than ten years. Beyond my expectations! I would truly recommend Kevin's Tree Service to my family and best friend.

Perfect. Quote was quick and in line or lower than others. Showed up exactly on time, worked quick and efficiently, cleaned up and were gone. Couldn't ask for better service.

It is with regret that I compose this review. This is my second project with Kevin?s Tree Service, the first being on time, achieving the goals, at a reasonable price. I fundamentally agree with Mr. Kevin Wilkey?s philosophy regarding the trimming of trees, and after my first experience, chose his company again. The primary purpose for this project was to trim the two main trees in my front yard, at the recommendation of my lawn service company, to improve the exposure of my grass to sunlight. Mr. Wilkey provided a proposal, which I accepted, and paid for in full, although the work was not completed as discussed and quoted during the initial visit. I have called many times, leaving many messages and voice mails, most of which were not acknowledged. Mr. Wilkey and I did speak on two occasions. At one point between these two conversations I had scheduled an appointment, which was reconfirmed by his office the day before, for Mr. Wilkey to come a review the results of the project, but he was truant. After our last conversation, Mr. Wilkey was to consider my concerns and reach out to me. That is the last time I have had any substantive conversation with anyone from Kevin?s Tree Service, although I have proactively left a number of messages and voice mails.

Very prompt response time to request for estimate. Estimate in line with other companies. Work accomplished on day promised at time promised. Area was left fairly clean after they were done. Could have done a better job on clean up on side walk and left a huge pile of ground palm debris in flower bed (this might have been done intentionally to act as fill for what was removed). Also, workers crushed decorative pumpkin and did not fess up. All of these are minor compared to overall job results.

We were extremely pleased with the service. The crew showed up during the time frame I was given and started working immediately. It was clear that everyone knew their job and we noticed that none of them ever stopped doing what they needed to do -- clear to see this is a professional operation. In addition, they were all very pleasant and courteous. We had no idea how the palm trees were going to be removed and were quite amazed at how it's done!! Everything ran perfectly smooth and the crew cleaned up everything before they left, leaving no trace of our former trees. I would highly recommend Kevin's Tree Service and will definitely use them again should the need arise!!

I hired Kevins to do trimming of a large Oak tree and some smaller trees because i'm having a pool built in my backyard. The pool had been layed out and staked out for digging the next day. I was told by the foreman for Kevins that they needed a 10 ft clearance to get his equipment into my backyard to do the trimming. He and I agreed that SOME of the stakes and markers for the pool had to be moved to accomplish this. HE HELPED ME MOVE ONLY the 5 or so stakes that NEEDED to be moved. I walked inside for about 5 minutes and I came out to find his crew of younger guys tearing out and throwing ALL of the 2 dozen or more markers and stakes that were meticulously done by the pool company the previous day. Needless to say i was charged additional fees by my pool company to re lay the pool out. This 800 dollar job turned out to be a 1100.00 job!! I will look elsewhere for tree trimming in the future!!!

This is the second time I have used Kevin's Tree Service, and once again, the experience was very satisfactory. Kevin arrived on schedule to provide me with a cost estimate on the work to be done. His office called several days later to confirm the date and time for completing the work. As it happened, a previous job delayed the teams arrival on the agreed upon day; however, I appreciated the fact that Kevin's office telephoned to advise me that they would be running 2 hours behind schedule. When the 3-person team did arrive, they got to work promptly and behaved professionally taking care that trimmed branches didn't fall on or damage shrubbery and landscaping. The job took approximately 2 1/2 hours (it's a big tree), and the team did a good job of cleaning up afterward. The charges were exactly what Kevin's estimate indicated they would be. I am happy to recommend Kevin's Tree Service and would certainly use them again when and if the occasion arises.

All proceeded as planned. All work was completed satisfactorily . Clean up was completed as well Staff was pleasant.

I contacted three providers to remove a large branch hanging over my neighbors house and trim the tree branches hanging over the road. I chose Kevin because he had the lowest price and he was very knowledgeable. There were new growth happening in the tree and other providers talked about removing it all. Kevin warned me that the tree was creating new growth to get sunlight and trimming them unnecessarily would hurt the tree. On the day of the trimming Kevin was there to go over the work with the crew doing the trimming and make sure everything is as I asked. The crew went to work and quickly had it all done. There was no waste, the yard and tree looked great afterward.

I chose Kevin's Tree Service based on excellent reviews here on Angie's List and I wasn't disappointed. Kevin arrived promptly to give us a free estimate that included two options - one if he only trimmed the tree on my side of the fence, and a second if my neighbor agreed to chip to prune the whole tree. KTS provided us with the lowest competitive bid among the top rated Angie's List providers. On the scheduled day, Kevin's crew showed up promptly with the equipment (including a high lift) to do the job. In just over two hours, the work was done with limbs chipped, debris blown off the roof and the yard cleaned up (front and back) as if they were never here. The best news of all is the oak tree looks more majestic than ever! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kevin's Tree Service to anyone looking for quality, professional service.

The crew showed up right on time and had the job done in less than two hours. Everything was cleaned up and put back in good order. Would definitely use this company again!

The crew came and took down the tree, removed all the debris in less than two hours. It was impressive to see how organized and professional the team of a half a dozen performed.

I thought their price was reasonable, all their licensing and insurance checked out. He did exactly what he said he was going to do at the price he quoted.

I contacted Kevin's Tree Service and another company to look at a Queen Palm that had become wilted and dead looking. I wanted to know more information on the cause it was in a cluster of three trees and I was fearful of the other trees dying as well. I actually got a very thorough response from the other company, although Kevin's was faster with an estimate. The tree had died from a virus. Kevin's originally wanted to remove the dead palm and trim the remaining trees, but the advice I received from another company was to wait some time after the removal to trim the tree in order to decrease the chances of spreading the virus. I contacted Kevin and set up a removal and he even matched a competitor's deal on the Angie's Deals section for $50 off removal. The removal was conducted on time, quickly, and without my presence (I was told it was done in about an hour from the neighbor). I had no issues with the service and would recommend them anytime a quick removal is needed. I might contact them in the future to trim the remaining trees when needed.

Kevin is a certified Arborist and knows his business. Kevin and crew arrived on time, were very professional, reviewed with us what would be done and proceeded to do a exceptional job. Cleaened up after job was completed. Very satisfied. Price for the job was in the middle of three quotes.

The tree removal went great. The tree should have been trimmed 2 years ago. I had been putting it off. The tree was trimmed exactly how I wanted it. There was no branches or large amounts of debris left at all. My neighbors didn't have any waste on their yards either. It is a very large oak tree - in a community that was built up in the late 1980's. The homes are very close together, so I was worried about the neighbors. However - it was an awesome job.

The crew was on time, polite, and professional. 5 men showed up and worked in 2 teams tackling the various tasks. They took pictures for me of the tree limb over the roof. I was kept updated every step of the way, as they moved from one task to the next. They were very knowledgeable and educated me on which trees were native, which were invasive, and advised on how I should maintain everything going forward. They also cleared the leaves and needles from the roof, and deck. Before they left all debris was cleaned up, nothing left behind for me to deal with and nothing left on my curb. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended this company to others for tree service.

They were not very eager to perform the work. Kevin came promptly to give us the estimate; however, I had to call them several times after I received the estimate trying to get someone to give me an idea as to when that work would be done. Finally sent them an email and asked them to let me know if they were not interested in trimming our queen palm trees. Also, when they were at our home performing the work, they severed two of our landscaping lights from their power supply. Will not use them again.

Took a couple of times to get together due to unavailability of both parties. However, once we met and agreed on the work to be done, things went smoothly. Kevin and his crew did an excellent job and cleaned up the work area. Would not hesitate to use them in the future.

The estimate was super easy, just scheduled and Kevin came to our house and was able to leave an estimate based on our description and we didn't have to be home. After receiving a couple of estimates, we found Kevin's to be competitive, not the cheapest but not the most expensive and decided to go with him based on fair estimate and good reviews. We're very glad we did as he and his crew came on time and did a fantastic job. We have two large, ten year old oaks in our front and side yard that were very overgrown (had to duck to walk by and drive around to avoid scratches - just got too big for us to maintain) and they look beautiful We also had a couple of neighbors come by and tell us how much better our home looks and ask for a referral - which we happily shared. My only issue, if I'd even call it that, was that I didn't know that stump grinding requires different machines and is routinely done on a different day. When I called, that was explained and was indeed done in a couple of days. Great job and great service!

I had a very good experience with the quoting process. Kevin was very knowledgeable and pointed out some problem areas and answered all my questions. I thought the quote was fair. The service was performed while I was away and done in a timely manor. The work done on the large oak looks great. I'm a little concerned with the job on the trees that were growing through the fence. The trees were mostly cut across at fence height instead of removed and the palms between the fences were not touched but need removed. However, it was discussed that I was going to be removing the fence (it is in the way of doing some of the work). Stump grinding will be done when the fence is removed which will be at an additional cost of $125 (I agreed but we need to wait until the fence is removed to do this). I have not yet contacted them to ask if they will finish the tree removal when the fence has been removed in addition to the stump grinding. I just want to be sure I will not be charged extra to finish removing the trees. I don't think they will but I need to be sure and ask. The dead trees were all cut and removed. The yard was left clean. There was some damage to my fence gate. I think they brought back some equipment and had to pull the gate too far back or something to get the equipment through. Now the gate as a large gap in it and does not close properly. I don't care about this too much since I told them I was going to replace the fence and just hope this was done because they knew this and not due to being careless.

They were supposed to deliver the wood on a Wednesday but their truck broke so told us it would be delivered Thursday morning. We were in no rush so that was no problem for us. They did not show up or call on Thursday but delivered the wood early Friday. Again not a problem for us since we were not in a rush but it would have been nice to have them call us and tell us they were not going to be there Thursday. We counted the pieces of wood we got, we got about 260 pieces for $100. We had been purchasing wood by the stack at a house in the neighborhood for $10 for 30 pieces. We feel the price we paid was too high for the amount of wood we got even though the $100 did include delivery.

Kevin's company was exceptional .His men were both professional and cordial.This job required an enormous amount of skill.I would have only trusted a few companies to do it.The tree was huge,a 4 ft diameter trunk and a 120 ft canopy.They protected the yard with plywood and did almost no damage.The slight damage was repaired and cleaned up as perfectly as the removal was accomplished . I would heartily recommend Kevin for any job ,no matter how large and complex.I know I will never use anyone else. Stuart Swalheim

They are fairly priced. I checked around about three people. They are definitely not the lowest, but my father-in-law has used them before and the quality of their work. They were definitely punctual. They said they were going to be here at 9 o’ clock on the 20th and they were here 9 o’ clock on the 20th.

The owner, Kevin Wilkey, isa I.S.A. Certified Arborist. When he was here for the free estimate he made suggestions and imparted information about the trees. He was here to do a walk-through with his crew and his son, Kyle, who headed up the crew. I was amazed at the variety of equipment they unloaded. The crew was very proficient, polite and careful of my plants. They moved all my yard furniture so no heavy limbs would fall on it. They worked as a team and made very little mess. As soon as a limb was cut, it was dragged out to the curb and fed to the chipper. After the work was completed, they raked, used a blower and picked up all limbs that remained. They put my yard furniture back in place. I was absolutely pleased with the work performed. Everyone, from the office secretary, (Mrs. Wilkey), to the workers was extremely polite and professional. I do highly recommend this company!
