Working with the inspector, Bill Labita, was great. He was very thorough, competent and knowledgeable. I would recommend his inspection services to anybody. He gave his honest opinion to me at the time of the inspection as well as a comprehensive report the next day which outlined everything, along with pictures of what he found. He patiently explained everything to me, and because I am a first-time homebuyer, he even made sure to ask if I had questions or if I understood what he was talking about. He is absolutely the kind of inspector you want doing your home inspection. I would definitely hire this company again.

Excellent. Bill is exceptionally thorough, making him a MUST hire for inspection prior to purchase. Although we are still buying the home, we have our eyes open to necessary and optional repairs, and had the report to support a reduction in the seller’s asking price. Bill, the owner of the company, did the service, and at extremely short notice! Scheduling it by calling Amy, the person answering their number, was very easy and she was very helpful in answering questions. They gave me a price immediately over the phone, which was excellent for the size of the house. When Bill showed up for the job, he was ready to go. He had all the equipment for testing moisture in walls, checking electrical wiring and outlets, checked plumbing, and even mentioned a reversed hot cold in one of the showers. His son even showed up to help part way through the inspection. Bill has a great system with a camera and PDA where he sends pictures and notes to a report very quickly, and the comments in the report are very specific and comprehensive. Bill and his son even knew how to troubleshoot the air conditioner...these guys know their stuff. They were also very fast!! (fast with still being comprehensive and thorough in the inspection) In only 3 hours they had generated a 22 page printed report with color pictures of which they emailed me only an hour after I left the site as well as going over everything with me verbally with excellent insights on how to repair things. He also printed another immediate report for me right from his truck. He was serious about the job, but in conversation very personable with a good sense of humor. These guys have integrity!! They have earned my trust and respect. I know a few things about homes and fixing things but I was amazed watching Bill and his team and how knowledgeable they are..and I feel like I have a LOT to learn! I'm going to be recommending HomeBuyers Inspection Services to all my friends and family.

Inspector ( Bill Labita) was there ahead of schedule so I had no delay. Inspection is very thorough which is why I recommend Bill to all my clients, ( I am a realtor). Bill and his team were excellent to work with. They answered all of our questions from beginning to end (and more after the fact, as well). He showed up early (and even started early, since it looked like rain). He provided a thorough report, VERY quickly, and gave us excellent tips as he went over his findings, which gave us more confidence in tackling the things his inspection found. His work is very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others or to use him again if the need arose.

Although I felt the provider performed a thorough job and did not miss any potential issues; I felt he was bothered by my questions. I did not get in his way or followed him around while he was doing his job, but I had some specific questions as to what things were. Additionally, when the final report was provided there was not enough detail and a monetary estimate of the findings was not provided until specifically requested.

He was on time and very thorough. The report was detailed and included pictures of the areas that needed attention. He included minor to major issues and explained them after the inspection was done. He also had high tech meters and scanners. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

This is the second time Bill Labita has done an inspection for us. We chose Bill the second time because he was extremely thorough in the first one. I wouldn't trust anyone else. I have complete confidence in him and his work. He leaves no stones unturned. Most of the time I shadowed him and he pointed everything out to me. I am very knowledgeable of homes and home systems but he is an expert. He shows me things I can repair myself and takes the time to explain exactly what needs to be done and also what needs to be done by a licensed contractor or repair person. I will recommend Bill Labita to anyone who is buying a home. His use of Thermal Imaging has proven invaluable. His reports are very comprehensive and the Wind Mitigation Survey saved us a $$$ on our home owners policy. It paid for itself 3 times in just one year! My realtor recommended Bill as she had used him many times in the past and always had a positive experience. Bill did not disappoint! I did not have flexibility in my schedule for our inspection because of my work schedule. When I called, they worked around my schedule and fit me in right when I needed them (within 2 days). His inspection was thorough and complete. He pinpointed details that I don't think I would have noticed even if I lived in the home. His inspection report provided details and pictures of everything he found. I feel as if he had our best interest in mind throughout the inspection. He made sure to review the report with us and answered any of our questions. When we needed something a few weeks later, he promptly assisted us. As if that wasn't good enough, I lost my receipt and when I called them, they made sure to send it within 15 minutes. I would not hesitate to use their service again in the future!

Inspector was very professional and thorough in the inspection. Inspection took about three and a half hours. Every area of the house was covered in detail. Inspector was very knowledgeable. He want through the report in detail and explained all the deficiencies found in the house. He answered my questions and provided very useful information. The company also had excellent office support that made it easy to schedule an appointment, to provide information on the property and to obtain cost information. I would highly recommend this firm.

The home inspection indicated issues with the property that many inspectors could have missed. We are now in the process of negotiating with the seller to get these issues repaired.
