+ -1 moreIt was awful. The guy who came out wanted me to do all the permitting work. Usually they are supposed to do that and that is why i am paying. He did show up on time but he was rude and unprofessional when i called him regarding the permits. I decided not to go with them.

+ -1 moreI was disappointed in them. The next day it went on sale for $614. The lady I dealt with at the service counter was not professional. She was rude and she insisted that I use a specific type of water hose to connect the washing machine. I already had it and she kept saying that she had to charge me for it. We went back and forth. I started checking around with other outfits and found that another big box store had it and they would also give me a 10 percent discount for being ex-military. I went back to Home Depot and got a full refund. I was disappointed with the way they treated me. It was the same machine that I bought from the other store. The man who actually sold me the machine was very nice and he was okay. It was the girl at the service counter that was not. I would possibly use them again.

+ -1 moreGood quality, hassle l free installation, but be aware of the price promise from the sales
Description of Work: We replaced 3 windows with Home Depot. Pros: 1. The sales person stopped by on weekend, measured my windows, gave a demo, and quote the price on site. It works great for full-time working couples. 2. The process is hassle free. We always receive the phone calls and email reminders regarding the next steps. 3. The person who installed the window is very nice, punctual, and the job was done beautifully 4. You do not have to change all windows at the same time. The minimum number of windows to be changed with HD is 3. It allows us to do home improvement projects gradually in the house. Cons: The sales person told my husband and I that if I order 3 windows on the demo date, HD will always give us 10% off the list price on windows, even on future window replacements. 6 months later, when we saved enough money for more replacements, I called HD. Then, the sales person is gone, and another sales person told me that the first sales person was not telling me the correct information. HD has no such promise. We are now waiting for their 10% promo. So, be aware of any of the promise from their sales.

Dan Decker did the measurements and provided the installation person, Dan Snyder. Dan was meticulous and precise with the installation. The results was a perfect fit. A beautiful job.
Description of Work: Purchased new front door and side and sidelight, measurements, and installation from home Depot in Oviedo.

+ -1 moreA representative visited the home with samples and, since he was a contractor himself, offered ideas on how to go about the remodeling. The selections for cabinets, hardward, and countertop were top of the line. I could actually see the samples in my home in order to visualize the final product. This is a huge advantage from picking something out in the store. An order was placed and we took the one year same as cash financing option. When the materials were in, I received a phone call setting the appointment. The crew came and did the demolition taking great care to not cause any damage to the rest of the house. The cabinets were started. The next day the counter top was installed by a different crew. Then the original crew came back to complete the project. The final result was beautiful. The craftsmanship and professionalism of the installers was excellent. I would definitely use Home Depot for such services in the future. I have a five year warranty on the project - parts and labor and I know Home Depot will respond if I ever have a problem.
Description of Work: We hired Home Depot to remodel our kitchen. Their subcontractors did the work, but payment went to Home Depot. We could not be more pleased. We had kitchen cabinets refaced, had new countertop installed, and new sink and faucet installed..

The new door was only $187.00, but the cost was significant after paying for the building permit and installation. Needed this done asap so didn't shop around and just went with Home Depot where I bought the door.

+ -1 moreWe went to their kitchen design center and used Paul Rainford to help us plan the kitchen remodel project. We designed it on the computer and made suggestions. It took one day. They did everything. We picked out the cabinets and they did everything else. Had we gone with Lowe's we would have had to pull the permits and select the subcontractors. Home Depot did all of that for us for the same price. We had a point of contact if we had any problems. We initially did with the cabinets and sent the owner out and he took care of the problem with the employee. The cabinet company is now replacing 4 of the cabinets fronts for us. We had gone to Home Depot from a suggestion of a friend who had used them and was pleased. We also went to Lowe's to get a comparison. The prices were pretty close but we liked the fact we did not have to find numerous subcontractors to do the work if we went with Home Depot.
Description of Work: Home Depot helped us with a kitchen remodel project. They lined up all of the subcontractors for the project.

I certainly recommend them as a possibility for one of those services. They charged a very fair price. Their prices were competitive.

The person who measured the doors was good. Also, the installer was fantastic and he took his time. They also called back later to make sure everything was OK.

+ -1 moreInstallation went smooth but with the first hurricane we had, the entire fence came down. All of our neighbors' fences stayed up except for ours. We tried to contact them and they said they would get to us later because they had so many calls in regarding the hurricane. We never heard back from them. It turns out they had installed the fence with smooth nails rather than the nails they were supposed to use. I will never use them again for installation.
Description of Work: They put a wood privacy fence around the sides and back of our house, including a gate on one side.

+ -1 moreMy master bedroom was flooded during the Hurricane. I told the salesman that I wanted hardwood flooring. But I wanted flooring that would not scratch and easy maintenance. The salesman said 'you don't want any type of wood flooring.' He was honest. The wood would have been more money for Home Depot. The salesman said you probably should consider ceramic tile. I did. I am very very happy with my floor.
Description of Work: Home Depot installed ceramic tile in my master bedroom. The tile price was excellent .89 each.
