Very professional and work was well done

The rep came to my house and after explaining everything and every option, even did a demo on my floor. The technician who came a few days later to do the job was friendly, informative, hard working, and over all did an amazing job. I will be using them again in the future for other areas of my home.

They were wonderful about explaining the entire process to us what to expect, how to prepare for their arrival, and what to do after they have completed the process. They were very competitive pricewise. They were professional, extremely courteous and very careful within our home. I would most certainly recommend them to everyone. Outstanding.

Great company. Honest, quick and thorough

Very poor quality job and service. We had to prepare and fix up certain areas of our home to stage and list it for sale. Groutsmith didn't properly regrout the upstairs bedroom tiles and missed a lot of cracks. Also, they very sloppily stripped the clear sealant from the downstairs office leaving it very patchy and shiny. It was so bad that my dad spent days trying to remove the sealant himself and we ended up agreeing to a $2,000 credit for the buyers since they became agitated and impatient with the slow process of repairing/restoring the floors. The company was very slow to address our concerns and made excuses as to why they could not come back out in a timely manner to correct their mistakes. Then, the final straw, was the owner not calling me back to resolve my complaint when I was assured he would.

Got back to me super fast. The work they provided looks great

After they do the work, you cannot use your shower for three days which we were informed of when we got the pricing information from the salesperson, which by the way, there is NO pricing information on their website. We had a leak in the shower and it needed cleaned very badly. We had been unable to keep up with the cleaning and maintenance due to physical constraints and not being willing to bring someone into the house during the pandemic to clean. The first worker who came to the house, Michael, was rude abrasive and did a terrible job. He cleaned up prior to showing us his work. When we voiced concerns, he complained profusely explaining that he would have to go and get his tools and supplies again. We did not give in to his tirade so he begrudgingly went back to his truck to get his tools and supplies. He attempted to shame us that the shower was filthy that he would not have even taken the job if he would have been the person to do the bid. Further that the $795 was not enough for the job. He commented that he did not expect to spend as much time as it took him. After he left, we begged the person answering the phones to have someone come out and fix his work and after speaking with the general manager they agreed to instead they send out the man who had sold us on the project which, of course, was not the same day. He agreed the work was not to their standards, took some pictures of the substandard work done and they would send someone to fix everything. Since they had to redo almost everything, we could not use our shower for basically a week due to the delay in scheduling the second fix. There was mildew left in places you could not see for example under the door to the shower and above the door to the shower. Even after two people came to work on our grout there are still some small holes in the grout. They used a sealant that they said would dry clear. It did in some places, which unfortunately you can see the mildew left underneath it. In other places it dried an opaque white. For what they charge we expected an excellent job and did not receive one. Finally the drain in the bottom of the shower was â caulkedâ around the edge of the drain as they said they could not clean it because the mildew was in the grout. The â caulkingâ is already coming up and looks terrible. Even though we have followed all their upkeep instructions daily of drying the shower completely and spraying a vinegar/water mixture we are seeing mildew growing (they indicate not to use any chemicals). Buyer beware, their salesman is excellent but the work leaves a ton to be desired. We have followed all their instructions and we are still starting to see some problem areas, DO NOT USE, you will regret it!

Groutsmith was in constant contact and kept me informed at all times. They first sent out a gentleman to do an estimate and he gave me four different samples of colors I could choose from to see which would work best and made suggestions and was extremely helpful and polite. When the technician came out to do the floors he too was also very professional and polite and made other suggestions as well. He explained everything completely. I have decided to order they are gold product that would enhance the floor and they actually delivered it to me the next day! Excellent customer service, on time great price and professional! Iâ d recommend them and hire them again and again!
