I needed the A/C looked at right away. I was putting my house on the market and it worked but was very loud (not good for prospective buyers). It also needed a general servicing. The receptionists were friendly and worked with me to get someone out ASAP, even though they were busy. Dan came out and looked at the unit, worked with me to keep my costs as low as possible and was friendly and knowledgeable. I needed parts replaced and he let them know I was on a time crunch. I got the parts and servicing done in less than a week. The company called to remind me of the appointment that day and also gave me a half hour courtesy call letting me know they were on the way so I didn't have to miss work waiting for them. Dan even cleaned up after himself-the house was cleaner when he left than when he got there!

Tech(nician) arrived on time & company called me to inform me he was on his way. I told him the AC didn't work, it turned on but the air was warm. He quickly diagnosed the problem after checking the outside unit, it was entirely empty of refridgerant. He then told me up front that it'd be $125 to search for a leak. He had a tool that detected the coolant & quickly ruled out that the leak was coming from the inside unit. After about an hour, he found the leak. I watched him the whole time & it was very difficult to find. He showed it to me. I appreciate the fact that he was careful not to misdiagnose it cause other parts appeared to be the problem. To fix it, he removed a cap using a wrench & put Teflon (white sealing) tape over the ridges before screwing the cap back on. That's all it took to fix the leak. The trouble was finding it. Then he charged the unit which cost $180. So the bill came out to be $125 plus $180 plus $75 for service. I applied the $10 coupon so the bill was $370.

The day I called, American Air was ready to send out a technician to the house, that same day. They gave me a four hour window of 1:00-5:00. They arrived early, after calling to confirm, I was home at 12:30. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, clogged coils. He cleaned the coils. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable.

I called to schedule appointment and wanted a weekend appointment so I would not have to miss work. Unfortunately, they do not set weekend appointments if repair might be involved. So I picked a day that I could be the first appointment of the day to minimize my time away from work. The service technician showed up one hour and fifteen minutes late with little real apology. The air conditioning system needed a filter and to have a section of insulation replaced on the copper tube to the condenser. The technician did not have either of these items on his truck, so I couldn't get them replaced unless I wanted to schedule another appointment. Also, as he was leaving I asked if he had cleaned the outside cooling housing. He had not because he "did not see a hose." But one was 25 feet away from him on the front of the house. For such a highly rated company, I was very disappointed in all the service details.

Serviceman Chuck arrived on time, he was polite, personable and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable and with $10 off coupon from Angie's list, even better. System works perfect! Would highly recommend this company.

The service rep arrived on schedule, and found the system was frozen up. After defrosting unit, he found refrigerant was low, added proper amount, and unit started up fine. He also checked both inside and outside unit thoroughly before leaving. I have used this company for many years, and have found their service to be excellent.

They were great!! I hardly knew they were there. I am very impressed with them. Highly recommend!! I have used them for over 20 years!!

I had a great experience with them. They were very cordial and also very quick. I had a manager come out the first time I had them, and when I called this time around, they remembered me! The first time they came out to replace the outside unit, but they said my inside unit could last for another year. Sure enough about one year later, it needed to be replaced. I feel very comfortable and that they are being very honest with their recommendations.

The technician was pleasant and did a good job. The cost seemed excessive for the service performed.

They explained the condition and relayed info. to prevent the drain from further clogging. They were very helpful.

They arrived on time, and removed the old system and duct work. They made no effort to shield anything, and I found a piece of drywall lying on my china (nothing was broken). There was drywall dust and insulation everywhere. The next day they were on time and installed an air handler on free standing metal rather than the enclosure as specified. They left a large hole in the attic, didn t shield the copper lines, didn t seal duct work, didn t level the compressor, the slab was not to code. I called repeatedly for the problems to be fixed; they ignored my calls until I threatened legal action. After two trips, at least it was no longer raining into my attic. I still had to spend many hours crawling around sealing the duct work, vents, and A/C closet myself. They ignored the information I provided and didn t engineer the system correctly. My bedroom is still too hot. They didn t install the system according to standards. I ll never do any business with them again, even for routine servic

Have found them to be very reliable and reputable. Always call the day before to confirm the appointment, arrive promptly and every tech has been neat, polite and courteous.

The repair person was timely and polite. I don't know if the price was reasonable or not. Seemed a little expensive to me. I did like the fact that he told me how to maintain my system.

THEY'RE EXCELLENT. I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DO GOOD WORK. I CALL THEM, AND THEY'RE HERE WITHIN THE DAY. THERE WAS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE WHOLE COMPANY. WE'VE USED THEM FOR 14 YEARS.

WE'VE USED THEM FOR TEN YEARS, AND WE LIKE THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. THEY DON'T TRY TO RIP US OFF. IN OTHER WORDS, THEY FIX WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED, AND THEY DON'T ATTEMPT TO SELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T NEED.

WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR FIVE YEARS. THEY ALWAYS DO A GREAT, SOLID JOB. THEY ARE NOT GREAT OR STELLAR, BUT THEY ARE CONSISTENT. I WOULD RATHER A COMPANY COME OUT AND GIVE ME B WORK THAN NOT KNOWING WHAT I'M GOING TO GET WHEN THEY COME OUT.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. THE AIR CONDITIONING IS CERTAINLY A NECESSITY IN FLORIDA. THE PEOPLE WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THEY SEEMED HONEST AND RELIABLE. THEY ARE GOOD AT KEEPING IN TOUCH. THEY HAVE VERY EARLY MORNING APPOINTMENTS. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PROMPT. I'VE NEVER HAD TO WAIT ON THEM. I FEEL COMFORTABLE WHEN THEY ARE THERE. I'VE NEVER FELT THREATENED.

THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY, BUT SOMETIMES THEY DO NOT ARRIVE ON TIME. THEY CALL AND TELL ME THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE ON TIME. IT'S INCONVENIENT BECAUSE I HAVE TO TAKE OFF WORK.

IT WAS ONE SERVICE TECHNICIAN. HE COMPLETED EVERYTHING IN UNDER AN HOUR. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS FAIR. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I USED THEM. HE SEEMED VERY HONEST, SO I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO MY FRIENDS.

WE'VE USED THEM FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS, SO WE WERE VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY PROVIDE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORKERS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THEM.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD WHENEVER WE NEED SOMETHING. THEY INSTALLED THE NEW SYSTEM IN OUR HOUSE. I JUST CALL THEM ALL THE TIME, AND THEY RESPOND RIGHT AWAY. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

It was our first day in our new house and we had hot air conditioning. American Air & Heat came out on July 4th weekend to fix out air conditioner. He was here shortly after we called, fixed the problem and all were happy. We have since used them for heat servicing.

I called that morning and they came out that afternoon and fixed it. They did a complete inspection and found the problem. I have had no problems since then.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY ARE PROMPT AND ALWAYS CALL BEFORE THEY COME. THEY ALWAYS DO A GOOD JOB AND NEVER TRY TO UPSELL. IF I DO HAVE A PROBLEM THEY TELL ME HOW I COULD FIX IT IF IT IS SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BIG. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
