Amazon Stone

We worked with Amazon Stone for our bathroom vanity counter; the price point we encountered for the materials were not outrageous and mostly in-line with what we saw throughout all of the stores we visited in Central Florida while looking for our bathroom vanity counter. The piece we found with them was exactly what we wanted. During the process of buying it, they were generous in holding it for us, as we were traveling and unable to have it immediately installed. During the purchase process and working with Andrea (sp) we were told that we would have to purchase the entire remnant even though we would have a substantial amount left over. We were not daunted by, as having purchased a number pieces of granite/marble/quartz in the past, that is a pretty common practice. Fast forward a few weeks - they came and installed the counter piece and it looked lovely. We were very happy with it and at this point had recommended them to a few friends. After this, is when things went south. I called back to see how much it would be to cut and edge the remaining piece to use as a coffee table top in another part of the house. It was then that Andrea (sp) told me that we would have to repurchase the piece as they didn't sell us the entire piece. I confirmed with my husband what he heard when we first met with her and he confirmed my understanding. I brought this to her attention and she claimed that she did not sell us the entire piece. It is because of this dishonesty and disingenuous approach that I would not recommend this company. There are a lot of counter providers throughout Central Florida and we encourage you to look at those vendors and avoid this one does not stand by it's word (now, in reading reviews, I see other reviews on different platforms, reporting the same thing).

Installation dates changed a couple of times due to a move in their fabrication facility, but we were kept informed, and they were able to install by the date we needed.

We were extremely happy with the work done by Amazon Stone. Their price was very competitive, the installers were very nice and professional, work area was cleaned upon completion, and there were no delays. As a nice jester they even made us a cutting board from the left over slab. My wife found the owners very helpful during the selection process of the slab. Very happy with their service and highly recommend.

We used them to provide granite for our kitchen. including an island and bar, four full baths, two half baths and a wet bar. Our kitchen, master bedroom and one half bath are on the third floor of our home. Genival, the owner, was there in person with two of his installers to oversee the lifting of the slabs by crane to the third floor, since they were too large to maneuver up the stairs. It was an experience to watch professionals at work--it went flawlessly and the contractor and crane operator were both quite impressed. The granite is beautiful and the installation was perfect. I cannot express how happy we are that we selected them for our granite. They are both a pleasure to work with and took a personal interest in making sure everything went smoothly. Their installers were also very personable and a pleasure to work with and they are absolute professionals. I most highly recommend Amazon Stone for any granite, marble or onyx work.
