AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE SERVICE

I called this company and explained the error message on my microwave and also the spring in the door was busted. He was very nice, and ordered the part that I needed without taking a deposit. It took about a week for the part to come in, then I received a call to schedule my appointment. Jeff arrived on time, and was able to fix both of my concerns in less than 2 hours. He was very friendly, and professional. And I thought his price was very affordable for all the work he did. I would recommend him without hesitation and will be calling him for all future malfunctions. I really appreciate a reliable company that truly is affordable. Thank you!!!!

Excellent. They ordered the part via phone (without deposit) based on our self-diagnoses of the problem. When it arrived (about a week later) they texted to set up an appointment to come out and replace the flap. Jeff arrived as scheduled, replaced the flap quickly and efficiently. Will absolutely call AAS for any future appliance repairs.

He was helpful and friendly. The service took about 45 minutes and he cleaned up the floor when he was finished. Prices were reasonable.

Jeff came out and my wife was home and I wasn't, I couldn't monitor the job however everything went smooth. I haven't had a problem since. Highly recommend! Good price to.

They were very good. I found them through Angie's List. Their pricing was fair. He was below what I was quoted in other places. He was right on time and I didn't even call him to do the oven hood. He didn't even charge me for it. He just looked at it, fixed it and that was it. This was the first time I've used them. He is the best.

Jeff is always courteous, professional and reasonable. Have used him before for refrigerator repair and will definitely use him again.

Jeff was great from start to finish. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, went and got the needed board, and returned and installed it. All was done the same day and completed for less than I had expected to pay. I will certainly use him for future repairs.

Our contact was primarily through Angie's List email and text messages with the owner, Jeff Wilson. He gave us a list of possibilities of what the problem might be and prices to repair each. He came to the house to check the dishwasher and determined it needed a new motor. It had to be ordered from Colorado and Jeff installed it quickly once it arrived. We have only used it once since then but it is no longer making the noises and the dishes are clean so everything seems to be as it should. We would call Affordable Appliance Service again if we were to need large appliance repairs in the future.

Tired to hire him via email. He responded one time, then left me hanging I guess because I didn't give him the right answer. Tired to contact him several more times, he did not get back to me.

I intend to use Jeff/Affordable Appliance for all my appliance repair needs in the future.

This business owner took my call, said he would order the part based on the make and model number I provided, and called me 2 days later to say he would be out the next morning between 9:30 or 10:00. I returned his call and left a voice mail letting him know that my husband and I both had to work As a working professional I guess it didn't ever occur to him that he should ask about our schedule and a convenient for him to enter our home to meet my need of a repair by his service. After all, I am paying for the service. We are now at 9 days later, the job is not done, and he has not attempted to return any of my calls. Despite the face that he has two numbers for contact.

It went exactly as I would have wished, but it is his honesty that impresses me most.

I called Jeff on a Wednesday to request service for my Kennmore washing machine. On the phone he seemed a bit nonchalant. I thought it was because I live in Apopka and he may have been driving from Oviedo. I texted the model # for my machine to him and he promised to contact me with an appointment time. He responded back within a couple of hours and stated that he can come out at 8:30am the next morning - which was perfect for me. I was pleased to see that he arrived a few minutes early. He was nice and very professional and diagnosed the problem immediately. He was in and out within 30 minutes. I did notice that he calculated the tax at 7% which is Seminiole county's old tax rate (currently 6%). I live in Orange county, so it should have been calculated at Orange County's tax rate of 6.5%. The difference was only pennies as this was a small job, but for larger jobs, I would pay attention to that detail. As I mentioned before, he lives in Oviedo, but he has a large service area and will travel to make the repairs. I am not sure if his trip fee varies or not depending on how far he travels. The part cost under $30 and he spent about 20 minutes doing the repair/install and my bill was $126.00 I have to believe that the bulk of the cost was in the travel fee. He recommended vent cleaning becasue my dryer does not heat properly and he gave me a referral to have that done. All in all I am very pleased. I tipped him for not only the great service, but for being punctual. I would hire him again and I would recommend him to others

Refrigerator needed Custom Cool function repaired. There were two possible causes/solutions. The owner, Jeff Wilson, came to the house and installed the first possible fix. Regrettably, it did not work (remember, there were two things that could cause the problem). When it didn't work, Jeff ordered the part to fix the second possible cause. When the part came in, Jeff returned to the house, installed it, and the refrigerator was fixed. Jeff made two visits, made them in a responsive and timely manner, and fixed the problem. He did not require payment until the problem was fixed. The charge was very reasonable. Jeff was very polite and professional. Next time we have an appliance problem, we'll call Jeff because we can count on a repair being made in a timely fashion and for a reasonable cost. How could it be any better?

There was immediate response to our request for service.

Prompt response to call. Same day service. Had required parts on hand. Completed the diagnosis and repairs in one hour! Washer works great!

When he was here, he was fine. Problem is, he didn't respond very well at all. He promised to come back after a week to look at our fridge, and 3 weeks later he hasn't come back. We've contacted him. Quality of work is fine when he is here, but we need much better response.

He showed up right after he called. Got immediately to work. Chatted in a friendly manner while working and did some extra check ups to make sure the dryer was in tip top shape. I am VERY satisfied with the service.

Jeff was on time, efficient and fixed my dryer roller issue in a timely fashion. But here's where things get interesting. After I wrote Jeff the check for services I asked if he worked on refrigerators. He said yes and I explained my problem to him, thinking he would give me some advice and go on his way. Instead he asked to take a "look". He proceeded to work on my refrigerator for at least a half an hour, concluding with some suggestions as to how to proceed. He did not have the part he suggested I replace (water filter) so I asked him what I owed him for the work he had just done and he said "NO CHARGE". When does that happen? Never. I managed to force him to take some cash since he had worked nearly as long on my refrigerator as he did fixing my dryer. He said if he needed to come back he would put that money toward the repair. Honest, hard working, knowledgeable. An excellent experience. And Jeff, if you read this, replacing the water filter completely fixed the water pressure issue....thanks!

Was able to come the same day we called. Came within 2 hours. Diagnosed problem quickly, seemed very knowledgable. Repaired problem right away, had the needed parts because he called ahead to ensure model of fridge.

It went very smooth.He came to the house within the time range he said,found the problem right away and repaired it.
